  1. Importing: skip existing contacts

    Would be very nice to have an option to ignore existing contacts when importing, rather than allowing records to be updated. So that only unrecognised end up being created as new contacts. This is important when importing from lists where the quality of personal information data might not be as good as what already pre-exists in the database. (Esp for people who are members).

  2. Financial reports in landscape format

    You offer a very attractive format for your financial reports, i.e. income and aged receivable reports specifically. You currently offer to download these reports in either excel or pdf. format but only in a portrait view. To produce a report covering several months requires the download to be printed on several pages.

    It would be very helpful as webmaster to download these pdf. reports in a landscape format so I could share with my board.

    Downloading in excel provides the material in a landscape format but you lose all the attractive formatting that appears on the screen.

  3. Select records by email engagement stats - e.g. percentage of emails opened

    I'd like to be able to list some subset of members and include a summary of their email activity in the listing. In other words, I search on active members in a geographic area and want to know how many of them have opened at least 25% of their emails. The only way that I know to do that is to tediously access each member's record and click on "Email settings and log" and then write down "74 sent, 43 opened, 18 clicked". Since the system tracks this statistic, is there any way to list it in a search result.…

  4. Complex price calculation

    Calculation fields - big need! We need the simple variety, such as ordering shirts, and more complex ones, like this:

    select arrival day
    select departure day
    select housing upgrade
    final price = # daysrate + # daysupgrade rate

    Right now to collect this data we have two fields, one with 6 options and one with 12 options, and they have to be manually reviewed to make sure they match up. We could put them into one field, but then it turns into about 24 options.

    It would be a relatively simple calculation if the system had that ability.

  5. Tax (HST) on Extra Charges as an Option

    We have a situation where we need to charge HST on our club membership fee but not on a required pass through fee from an umbrella organization. It is a required fee for members. Currently it is implemented as an extra charge but there is no control over its tax status ie applying a tax. In this case there is no HST applied to the $35.00 fee but there is for our club membership fee.

    Can you suggest a work around?

    It would be great to have the extra charges fields have an option to apply taxes or not.

  6. Functionality to generate physical letters

    My organization is not going to go entirely digital. I need to generate the occasional physical letter. The idea is that in addition to being able to generate ad-hoc emails, I want to be able to generate ad-hoc physical mailings. But they are not really ad-hoc; they correspond to points in my organization's processes that do not map to WildApricot. I want to store templates for these letters in WildApricot; when the need arises, I would like to be able to ask WildApricot to instantiate a template I pick for a member I pick.   7. Allow to customize blog post summary (teaser) size

    Web space is a premium and managing the space is a vital element of more content. Currently posting a blog posts text up to 10 lines and offers the read more option. If we can limit the opening post to a more concise presentation to say 5 lines or less it forces us to be more content rich with our opening line and we can register more read more clicks. The strategy is not to tell too much in ten lines, but just say enough in 5 lines or less so our users are prompted to read more.

  8. Accessible Menu Tab to all Levels

    With the upcoming Title 2 Accessible requirements we need a menu that is WCAG 2.1 AA compliant. We need a menu that is accessible via keyboard (tabs). Currently WA can only tab across the top level menu and does not access the secondary/third level on the main menu. We HAVE to have a fix in place prior to April 2026!! Resetting each individual page on our website is a horrible idea and a hard to update band-aid. Please update your basic software.

  9. Batch password reset email

    Our organization has 60 members and just started with Wild Apricot. All 60 members need passwords. There should be a way to send individualized temp passwords to all the members, without having to send 60 separate emails. Thanks!

  10. Customize What Store Emails Being Sent

    My customers are complaining about getting too many email when they place an order in the store. I would like the ability to choose which emails are sent out automatically--I feel they don't need a notice for order confirmation in addition to a receipt, and don't need a fulfillment email when they're also getting the digital content emailed. It's overwhelming and easy to miss the email with the actual digital content in it.

  11. Customizable Reply to: field in membership emails.

    Under member emails, why is the organization default the only email allowed in the reply to field? We have a membership person who should receive membership emails but there is no way of sending only membership emails to her, it goes organization email which means she would get all or nothing.
    There should be no reason the reply to field cannot be customized per email template, not sure why you have set it as uncustomizable.

  12. User should be required to change temporary password

    If a temporary password is set by the administrator or is sent to the user, there should be an option to force the initial password to expire when on first use and force the user to set the password.

  14. Convert a simple event to an advanced event

    It would be nice to have the ability to convert a simple event to an advanced event if you start a simple event and realize you need the advanced functionality of the advanced event. Sometimes it’s chosen mistakenly or sometimes you realize you need more functionality and it would be nice

  15. calendar event export

    We're transitioning to WA from a hodgepodge of sites and used Meetup to manage our events. I'd like to see the event export functionality that Meetup and Evite have. For both Meetup & Evite, their export process is:
    1) Click Export/Add to Calendar
    2) Select your particular calendar (google, iCal, outlook, yahoo)
    3) Click Save to save it to your calendar [for Google anyway]

    This is far easier and more elegant than having to download a file, find where it's saved to select it, and import. While you can save it from the event registration email, that creates a calendar…

    If you want to add event to your calendar from member-facing page, then you could use mobile app for members. Each event there can be added to your device calendar in a single tap.

    If you want to make a mass export of your events in other calendar system, like Google calendar, then you can use integration service Integromat. We already have a preconfigured integration scenario for WA + Google calendar pair and a similar one could be easily implemented for other calendars.     Please provide a gadget to easily insert external content. Creating iframes through html is very simple for those who know how but not for most clients who are not tech savvy.

    I envision the gadget being fluid in width having the following settings:
    - id
    - class
    - Title
    - URL
    - Height
    - border
    - scrollbars
    - padding
    - margins
    - background

  18. Recording donations from non-contacts

    In the "Record Donation" page, donor details, allow option to create a new contact immediately using the details provided where the donor does not have a record in the organization. Current method of adding a contact first, followed by donation, is somewhat cumbersome.

  19. Clean your contacts database

    This could be via reporting or via a new contacts clean up function. We created our contacts list by merging various other lists and we are aware that there are people on that list who have never opened an email.

    It would be great to have a way to search for contacts who have not opened an email in a set time frame, such as a year, and then archive all of them in one hit. We struggle to keep our contacts list within the 500 limit so this would be a great feature of us.
