  1. Remove Members who Lapsed then renewed from New Member count

    Currently, a member who lapses can restart their membership, but they are considered a new member by Member Saved searches and on the webpage gadgets. There are several methods to exclude previous-but-Lapsed members from being reported as net new members. It can be done in a Contacts search, but not a Member one. Therefore, our members get confused when they see the webpage gadget report their friends as new joiners. The selected solution needs to be implemented in a Member Saved search, in the webpage gadget, and perhaps any dashboard reporting on member growth.

  2. Discounts for recurring membership

    We would like to be able to offer discount codes to both new members and renewing members, and just found out we can't do that with recurring memberships, which is extremely limiting as that is the only level we offer. I also think that the restrictions should be posted on the page where you create the discount codes as I set one up and let some people know about it before discovering we can't actually use it.

  3. Agreement before payment to renew membership

    Every year between January 1st and March 31st is the time for membership renewal. This current website doesn't have something to ask members before their payment to make sure members agree to adhere... It must be done once every year. It is really important for my association and communities out there. Is it possible to add something under Members > Levels > Renewal policy? This way we can choose specific groups that are required to click on it with a link to agree BEFORE their payment. The link will bring them to read the agreement on a separate page. When…

  7. new membership level not showing up in new web page menu

    Hi, I just created some new membership levels, and they appear on the sign-up page. But they do not appear in the menu on the left on a new web page when I'm editing the new web page. So I can't connect that new web page with the new membership levels. How do I get the new membership levels that I just created to show up in the menus on the left when I'm editing a new web page, so I can associate that new web page with the new membership levels?   9. Membership card formatting - background image

    We already have a physical membership card design which includes significantly more graphical content than the templates available online. We'd like to be able to upload our existing design in high-resolution as a background image that covers the entire card area, and then place the relevant text fields as we require. Can we do this?

  10. Members organise by company rather than bundle coordinate

    The default in the summary table is to show members in alphabetical order based on bundle coordinator, it would be much more helpful if this could be organised based on company name. Also every person is counted as a member but really we are only interested in the number of company members ie bundle coordinators.

  12. Change Subscription period to Membership period

    One of our board member brought that up and I kind of agree with her. Most of us using Wild Apricot are Clubs and not Company providing a subscription-based service like Netflix, Microsoft-365, AT&T etc.
    I like to suggest Wild Apricot changes the wording on the Membership Site from "Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st" to "Membership period: 1 year, on: January 1st"

  13. generate invoice without changing to pending-renewal

    I would like to generate an invoice for membership renewal WITHOUT changing the membership status to renewal-pending. In fact, I'd like to be able to remove the "renewal-pending" as a status altogether. It's not useful for us. People are either Active or Lapsed. The system can send reminders the number of days beforehand and such, but in the summary, there is duplicity in counts because of the way it is displayed.

  15. Please fix Membership expiration failures and templates

    Membership renewal is kind of a mess...

    I updated our organization to extend all memberships by two weeks. I did this by modifying the membership levels at all levels, to give them an additional two weeks of membership time.
    This has caused an apparent cascade of bugs in Wild Apricot software:

    • When I updated the templates to reflect new dates and prices, and chose to apply the template to all levels (and typed 'UPDATE'), it did not do what it was supposed to do. Subsequent emails fired with the old dates and old prices.

  16. Several admins in a single bundle

    I would like to see the ability to have more than 1 bundle administrator. For example, with company memberships, sometimes there is a need for a Finance Bundle Admin, as well as a general Bundle Admin. Finance Bundle admin would receive invoices and membership renewals, general Bundle admin would be able to add and remove members.

  17. Change to Bundles: Allow the use of Extra Cost fields in the profiles of Bundle Members

    Today the system has a limitation: For bundle memberships, extra cost fields will only appear to the bundle administrator, not to individual bundle members.
    So if you add the extra cost field, only the bundle admin will be able to interact with it, the other members in the bundle won't be able to.
    I would like to add Extra Cost fields to Bundle Members profiles.

  18. Add "is not" criteria for user id

    Use 'user id' as a field that can be excluded in Advance Searches

    Currently if I want to run an advanced search to create a mailing segment for a particular membership level I have to use the field 'name' to create a criteria of 'is not' when building the search. This removes the members with the name(s) specified as you can insert and define the criteria multiple times.

    However, less prone to manual error would be the ability to insert the 'User ID' as a criteria and then have the option to specify 'is not' in the advanced search and…

  19. Always display members' auto-renewal status on account

    We need something prominent displaying on member accounts whether or not they are enrolled in auto-renew. We get hundreds of queries a year from members who can't tell if they're enrolled in auto-renewal or not after they've removed their payment info. There's nothing then displaying "You are no longer enrolled in auto-renewal" or confirming that they need to manually renew--and what's worse, there's still a line on their accounts that displays the membership level as having auto-renew enabled.

  20. lapsed members and events

    The situation is as follows.. A member registers for a members only event when she is a member. Before the event occurs, that person's membership lapses.

    It would very helpful if there was some way to automatically 'unregister' that person for all members only events, as she is no longer eligible. At the very least, there ought to be an easy way to run a report to find out the events for which recently lapsed members are registered.
