Another update on our development.
The member details screen is finished. You can see our current design here:
The Phone and the E-mail section are on the top. You’ll be able to tap on it to connect with a member.
We finished designing the navigation panel also. You’ll be able to check your login, go to the association’s site and even log out directly from it. Here is how it looks now:
There is a little bit empty currently. But don’t worry, we’ll add some more sections here during the development of the events part.
Next, we’ll need to do some internal technical stuff such as error handling and additional logging. But then we’ll start adding an events functionality.
First, I like the member mobile app.. shows promise, and I appreciate all the work that's gone into it.
Initial feedback we've had from limited testing is that the app is great, but there is nowhere in the app that the information is linked to the organization.
It would be beneficial to have some sort of organization branding within the app once a member has logged in.
It would be beneficial to have the app60 votes
In the latest update 1.3.1 profile screen was made a default screen after login. We understand that it is not a complete solution for the problem, however we hope it will be helpful.
Add access to the member forum to the mobile member app
Our organization is a community and we rely on the sharing and of information on the online forum. We would like to see the forum added to the member app to drive participation.52 votes
Allow admins to send notifications with some important information to member app users.28 votes
Add polling option and voting options20 votes
Members should be able to modify their registration or delete their registration on the member app.9 votes
Would it be possible to add a feature to sort out the list of registrants for an event in first name - last name, instead of the reverse as it is currently the case?
This is when using the App on iPhone.
New App for Members could be used by our organization IF I can restrict which LEVELS of Memberships could ACCESS the App. Two of our Member Levels are NOT allowed to see All profile fields of the Owners. Currently, it's ALL Members or NO Members. We need a selection criteria under Allow application for members. Surely we aren't the only organization with this issue.4 votes
Everyone who can log into website also can log into mobile app.
Member app shows profile details in the same way as web version, with respect to field visibility settings and level of current user permissions.
Wild apricot allows to restrict field visibility to the following:
– show to anybody
– show to members only
– don’t show to others
Currently neither web version nor mobile app could restrict fields visibility to specific level.
Add the ability to change the pre-set icons next to each member. Right now, if a member does not have a photo uploaded anything from a turtle to a party hat will auto-populate. These icons seem a bit un-professional for my membership and I would like to be able to choose what icons would auto-populate.1 vote
Ride Leaders need to see a list of who has registered for a ride. The only way to do this currently is via admin privilege on the web site. For the mobile app to be useful we need to see who is registered for a ride, not just those who opted in to have their name appear on the public roster.3 votes
Interesting idea, thanks! I edited title a little so other users could find it easier.
Change the Admin Mobile app to show RSVP counts including registrations recorded by administrators. Currently the V3.0 app shows counts only based on emailed replies i.e.
- No reply
This will allow RSVPs that have been given through other means to be counted e.g. verbally. It also enable apologies signalled in advance to be recorded before the invitation email is sent.
It will also make it consistent with the browser view.1 vote
I would like to see the mobile app to allow a member to login and if they are an event organizer they can see these event. They can add/remove/check in registrations and only see common data fields for contacts.
This is so the organiser can manage the registrants instead of hassling the trip coordinator.
While viewing My Tickets or an Event, would like to have the registered member list show. This works on the website, so we would like it on the Member App.1 vote
its more of a bug, when a member sends a message to another member via the iOS App its sent from the administrators email.
the app also shows a name and email as signature and its not getting sent with the message3 votes
The website allows filtering of My Tickets for Upcoming and Past Events. We would like this function on the Member App. It would be idea to also be able to filter to show only Upcoming Confirm or Upcoming Waitlist.1 vote
As a follow-up to the "Group Directory Gadget" idea.. it would be nice to have a group listing available in the member app.
As an example, our association runs a preschool program. Members who register their children are given a hard copy of the class list in case of emergency.
It would be beneficial if members who are assigned to a class group have a group listing (much like the member list), appear in the member app.
This page would be separate from the Member List (Which we use as a directory for businesses).1 vote
I would like to edit the Additional Information field from the mobile admin app.1 vote
To edit the Description field from the Mobile admin app, the text contains the font and format tags. This is not user friendly, especially for a non-techie.1 vote
I split your suggestion into two topics. The one about editing Additional Information field I presented here:
Feel free to vote and write an additional comment there.
There should be a way on the app to approve all memberships that are paid at one time. Instead of having to do them 1 at a time2 votes
- Don't see your idea?
