Accept American Express
Online payment, email marketing, website analytics, data management, and automation systems can all be integrated with WildApricot. Businesses can improve system functionality using these connectors without having to start from scratch. While email technologies facilitate communication within the community, payment platforms facilitate the processing of membership payments, event registrations, and other online collections.
Traffic tracking and insights into website visitor behavior are made possible by integration with services like Google Analytics. By integrating WildApricot with other applications and reducing human labor in operational workflows, automation solutions also significantly increase value. snowrider

Which API version does WildApricot currently support?
Finding the API version that WildApricot supports is essential for developers and administrators when creating or managing a system that connects to the platform. External applications' access to data, including member, event, and contact details, as well as associated services, is governed by the API. Therefore, confirming the currently supported API version prior to implementing a new integration helps reduce compatibility problems.
Request architectures, endpoints, authentication techniques, and data return formats are all directly impacted by the supported API version. Code changes may be necessary when moving to a newer version if a project depends on an older one. On…

getting over it
Simple Controls, Difficult Gameplay
The basic idea behind Getting Over It is easy to understand. You use your mouse to control the hammer and move your character around the environment. By carefully positioning the hammer, you can push, pull, swing, and launch yourself upward.
However, the physics-based movement makes every action unpredictable. A small mistake can send your character sliding back down the mountain, sometimes undoing several minutes of progress.
Precision Is the Key
Getting Over It requires precise movements rather than fast reactions. You need to carefully control the hammer and find the right angle to move past each…

Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server Integration for WildApricot
What is a WildApricot MCP Server?
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server acts as a standardized, secure bridge between an AI assistant (such as Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, or Cursor) and your WildApricot database.
Instead of requiring admins to manually export CSVs, write custom API scripts, or log into the WildApricot backend to run searches, an MCP server gives an AI client direct, context-aware access to query and update your organization's data using natural human conversation.
Key Benefits for WildApricot Admins & AI Users
Conversational Member & Data Queries
Instead of: Filtering contact lists manually or exporting spreadsheets to analyze member…2 votes -
Cancellation Payment/Credit Processing Enhancement
It would be helpful to have more control over how payments are handled when a paid registration is cancelled. Currently, when an employee cancels a registration after payment has been recorded, the system automatically reflects the payment as an “overpayment.”
For organizations that have cancellation/refund deadlines, a cancelled registration does not always mean the employee is eligible for a refund or credit. Instead of automatically creating an overpayment, it would be helpful if the system prompted the administrator to confirm whether a credit should be issued.
This would help prevent confusion for employees who see an “overpaid” balance on their…

add product type for service items
We offer services, which do not fit with a digital product or a physical product. I suggest adding a 3rd category of product for a service item.

Display Post Date
On blog posts, the post date is not automatically displayed. Can it be automatically displayed under the Post title? Otherwise it needs to be manually added, which is an opportunity for missed dates, inconsistent format, etc.

Improve Website Navigation by Using Standard Dropdown Indicators
We've just launched our new Wild Apricot website and Members-Only portal after several months of implementation.
Within the first day of launch, one of our members (a CEO) reported confusion with the website navigation. He interpreted:
HOME > DIRECTORY > PRESENTATIONS
as a breadcrumb hierarchy (similar to Windows File Explorer or many websites) rather than three separate navigation items with dropdown menus.
Once he explained his thought process, I realized his interpretation was completely understandable. I suspect many other users may make the same assumption without ever mentioning it.
I would encourage the Product Team to consider one or more…

Add a Sandbox/Test Environment for Administrators
It would be very helpful to have a sandbox or test environment where administrators can safely experiment with website changes, email templates, workflows, and settings before publishing them to the live site. This would reduce the risk of accidental mistakes, make staff training easier, and give organizations more confidence when implementing new features or design updates.

Contacts API add "Id" to $sort options
When "merging" Contacts data to a local database (i.e. iterating both in parallel and applying changes from WA) it would be very helpful to have the API return contact objects sorted by Id. Currently they are returned in a "random" order. This means that in order to apply updates efficiently I have to cache the entire result set so I can process it in ID sequence to match my local database.

Respect calendar event color settings in weekly calendar view
Week view in the calendar doesn't currently respect the event tile color settings set using custom javascript as seen here https://gethelp.wildapricot.com/en/articles/94#Eventtags-colorcodingColorcodingeventsusingeventtags
This is confirmed by the bot 'Currently, color coding event tiles using event tags is only supported in the monthly calendar view, not in the week view.'
It should be a simple fix to have the tiles respect the coding in Week view, so make it so.4 votes -
wordpress admin login
When using the same admin email for both Wordpress and WA, the login widget for Wordpress doesn't sync the user, so currently the admin is not able to login to Wordpress website via the SSO. Within the WA Plugin for wordpress, there needs to be a user sync functionality, where if a user already exists in Wordpress, that it would sync that user (via the email) with WA so that there are not errors/frustrations with logging into both tools separately. This also should give the capability for admins to login via Google/Facebook to both.

Event announcements for each session of a reoccurring series
We have reoccurring monthly events that our members can join at any time. Ideally, we would want to send announcements to our members monthly, so that they can join at any point. The current system only sends announcements ahead of the first session. The reminders can be set to send prior to each session. It would be nice if the announcements could do this as well.

Current Events
Current Event Gadget.
The two existing Event gadgets show upcoming events and past events. During an event, it leaves the Upcoming Events Gadget but doesn't show in the Past Events Gadget, so our Events page suddenly doesn't have information about arguably the most important event.
Please consider a gadget that displays the current event, i.e., any that are not in Upcoming or Past.7 votes -
WebDav Is slow
I have seen a couple of posts on this dating back to 2014. Can't believe this hasn't been addressed.
WebDav is painfully slow. It takes ages for files to appear...loading, loading, loading....! If copy/pasting one file from the WebDav directory it not only takes down the server connection but partially pulls down the website as well. The Website > Files section is clunky and dated, pretty much like the rest of WildApricot.
When is Personify going to improve this service?
