With Safari for MacOS High Sierra and iOS 11, a new option to prevent cross-site tracking created.
Need to upgrade all WA widgets from iFrame. Right now, with Safari for MacOS High Sierra and iOS 11, a new option to "prevent cross-site tracking," was created. This prevents the user from using any of the WA widgets embedded in a website.

Allow waitlisted person to self cancel
Allow waitlisted person to self cancel
54 votesWork in progress · AdminKatya Tyukina (Director of Product Management, Wild Apricot by Personify) respondedGreat news! We have added waitlist cancellation options to our mobile app Wild Apricot for Members. The logic follows the same rules as for regular registrations. If cancellation is available for the ticket type, it will also be available for the waitlist.
We're looking into bringing this feature to our web app too. Stay tuned for updates and Happy Holidays!

Mobile app for admins. Add an ability to manage guests for registrants
The admin's app should allow managing guests registrations. People can't add or edit guests themselves after they've already registered so they ask admins to do it.
27 votesWork in progress · AdminKatya Tyukina (Director of Product Management, Wild Apricot by Personify) respondedWe are developing the ability to manage guest registrations on the admin app, including adding, editing, and deleting guests. Changes to the member app will follow.

account billing history
Allow WA account administrators to access their payment/billing history online without having to submit a helpdesk request.
16 votesAccount billing history is part of new billing system. It is already available for some of the accounts and will be available for everyone once we finish migration of all customers to new billing system.
Special note, that full payment history will be available after migration to new billing and onwards. For previous periods you will still need to reach our billing support

Reset password from mobile app
If you log out and can't remember your password, the app has no 'reset your password' option. It's unclear and inconvenient to go to the website and use it from there.
17 votesWork in progress · AdminKatya Tyukina (Director of Product Management, Wild Apricot by Personify) respondedWe've started working on this feature for our mobile apps - the Forgot Password functionality. We'll be rolling it out first for the Member app and later for the Administrator app. Let me know if you have any questions!

option to "not renew"
This might seem obvious, but is there a way for a member to choose to not renew their membership, archive themselves and thus stop the renewal reminder emails?
Each year about a third of our organization ages out but we don't know in advance who they are so we can't proactively archive them on the admin side. They get annoyed when the first renewal reminder emails start showing up, and their first reaction is to bombard the membership chairperson with requests to be removed from the email list. It's a pain.
It this isn't possible, do you have a suggested…

credit card fees to be paid by members
Our members love being able to pay their membership dues by credit card. However, our biggest gripe with the payment systems that apricot supports is that there doesn't appear to be a way to give the credit card processing fee to the member, rather than our company. Since our membership costs are very high ($36,750), these small (~ 3.5%) fees really cost us a lot of money ($1,286.25), and it would be very helpful if we could pass these fees back on to the member.
For example, if there was a way to allow members to manually enter in the…
122 votesMany thanks for your comments and feedback in this thread - it was super helpful for us in analysis and design of the feature.
I'm happy to announce that we're working on adding donations to compensate payment processing fees. This feature will be released later this year. Some design decisions I wanted to speak out explicitly:
1. We decided to proceed with optional donations to compensate credit card processing fees as opposed to surcharges/convenience fee.
Main reasons for this is that there are too many regulations around mandatory charges to compensate fees: it's illegal in some countries/states, there are caps on how much you could charge, etc. To avoid all of this legal complications we decided to suggest members to opt-in to compensate processing fees, as opposed to make them obligatory.
All these transactions will be recorded as donations in WA and can be later used for tax deduction.2. You…

Create and send a pdf of the invoice
We are getting requests from event attendees for a pdf or a hardcopy of the invoice as organisations won't accept an email as an official invoice
thanks derek
145 votesI'm happy to say that we have started working on providing prebaked PDF of all invoices and include them into our emails.
Couple of details about how we designed it:
- it will be a link to download pdf of invoice available throughout the product (including emails sent to contacts)
- as of now it will be static PDF, but later on we plan on adding capability to edit these PDFs as well

Provide a way to change membership level during renewal
Current Behaviour
During membership renewal a member may have more than one membership level available. Choosing among them is cumbersome. The member clicks one button to renew at his current level or clicks another button to choose a different level.
Also, changing the membership level doesn’t act like a renewal as regards calculation of the Renewal Due date. Desired Behaviour
Use one button for both functions. If multiple membership levels are available, show “Renew and choose membership level” on the “Renew until …” button. This would give the member a choice that looks like that on the membership application form.

143 votesWe have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.
As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:
- Level would be changed immediately, as now - Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level - For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications: - Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal… -
Prorating Membership Level Upgrades
Copied from another discussion -
Discount coupons discussed here are only for new member applications.
What you are talking about is prorating the membership payment when members change their level - applying unused membership fee and/or reducing the new fee if new membership level is not for a full period. We are working on this - it would be great if you could start a new thread on the wishlist forum to explain how you would like to see it work.
How our org would like it to work -
Ex - level a - $35 annual fee and level…
