Event Organizer to manage event on APP
I would like to see the mobile app to allow a member to login and if they are an event organizer they can see these event. They can add/remove/check in registrations and only see common data fields for contacts.
This is so the organiser can manage the registrants instead of hassling the trip coordinator.
Cheers.

I agree that the Event Manager permissions in the app need to be more fine-grained.
Right now, someone we have working on our front desk doing event check-in using the phone app needs to be an admin at least for the Event category. All we want that person to be able to do is check-in, not create or modify events and so on. The model that is used for Website admins would work. The Help File for the Admin App lists the Event capabilities as:
- add, modify, or delete an event, add or check in event attendees, add or modify event registration, delete an event registration, manage event waitlists.
This would be quite adequate as the sub-categories! -

Glad you posted! We have the same issue, we have between 25 - 50 leaders and we have to give them full access to EVERYTHING, just so they can manager their activities and events. It is a huge amount of trust and we have to constantly watch everything and get rid of those who take advantage.

We have people help us out with our events check in attendees, I do not want them to have any rights other than check-in and helping those register who did not do so ahead of time. I don't see any role I can assign these individuals?
They should have no access to the member list, only the registrants of an event to check in or help them get checked in in much the same manner Eventbrite does it. Is this possible?

agree here - the problem is then your giving tons of people acccess to full event management... need a door manager role as so many people play that role.

We would like to use the RSVP, attendance sheet, and mobile app checkin features. Unfortunately we have to grant full Admin access to people to do so. We have over 50 Tour Leaders and this simply won't work for us.
For each event, you can add an Event Organizer email. We'd like to see that expanded to be able to assign Event Admin privileges to one or more people, specific to that Event. That way we can maintain site security while utilizing these features. -

Allow those admins with read only access to perform event check in at the Mobil App level. Might need a check to make sure they are the event organizer.

You can use the event manager role for this. Does it work for you?

Have an admin level that just allows someone to check in guests, maybe take payment at the door.

In addition to adding/removing/checking in registrations, I'd like to also include payment options (cash, credit). This would automatically update the outstanding invoice in the system, eliminating the need for a manual edit. The organizer would have a "live" list of registrants at their fingertips and see who has paid and who hasn't, even if they registered an hour before the event - as occurs in often in our club.

I have many facilitators doing various events and it would be great if, as administrators, they could just see their events only to check registrants in. It would be important that they cannot see the whole of the contact data base for data protection reasons. They should only see relevant contact data only that relates to the event and nothing else.
Thanks

I would like to limit or expand ADMIN access for my employees. Especially on the MOBILE APP.
Main idea is for my employees to be able to take attendance with the APP remotely at the event site.
The way the program is now, I would have to give my employees FULL admin access to allow them to use this.
With 45 events per month, we are forced to manually print out attendance sheets.
Allowing us to create employee-specific ADMIN permissions to be used online and on the APP would be great. Thanks.
