An error occurred while saving the comment Hi,
Thanks for help suggestion, but we don't allow others to view/change our sourcebase.
As for your situation - I completely understand it, and as of now I could only suggest creating duplicate several events instead of single multi-session event. An error occurred while saving the comment We have a bunch of other features on our plate - and we have to balance which ones to address first.
As for this particular improvement - we don't have immediate plans to address it in upcoming year. Sorry about this -

For now, this is not something we’re going to change – not sure if ever.
Workaround to use: create a special “entry” free level to apply to, and close “normal” ones for application. For the entry level, create also a dropdown field where a potential member can choose a level they want to apply to. Add other fields you need to assess the application. When application is successful, your admin is to change membership level to required one and generate membership invoice (membership upgrade invoice). The member will be emailed with the invoice and can pay.An error occurred while saving the comment No progress here so far.
As of now, I would suggest asking new applicants to issue an invoice, but not pay it until application is approved.
This will require a bit more manual work for communicating with new members, but otherwise will do the job -

An error occurred while saving the comment This is quite specific situation. I would suggest to run advanced search before event start to find members registered for event and having status lapsed or suspended.
After that you can process such registrants manually. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for posting this out.
Indeed, right now such kind of requests are not available.
Better way to do this would be to subscribe to new registrations webhooks. See our API documentation for more details -

An error occurred while saving the comment This will be addressed when we implement DMARC support for Wild Apricot emails. This is on our radars now, but no exact plans.
I'll post updates about it as we have any -

An error occurred while saving the comment Could you please clarify what you mean by Sales in your case? Is this online store? If so - could you be more specific about information you need?

We have started analysis for this issue, and it seems that key problem is how Wild Apricot handles level changes close to renewal date. The system is currently designed to collect the full new level amount and set renewal date according to new level renewal policy. All prepaid amounts for old levels are disposed. Moreover, since no prorating occurs, the new level might be effective only for a few days.
As a first step, we suggest to redesign how level change is working and add prorating there:
- Level would be changed immediately, as now - Remaining portion of old membership level payment will be applied to new level - For new levels with specific renewal date (e.g. annual levels with renewals Jan 1st) apply the pro-rating settings for new applications: - Allow member to pay only a pro-rated amount of the new level fee (e.g. six months before renewal…An error occurred while saving the comment Clint, following up your comment:
1. ...Most levels will have a renewal policy of 1 year? 1 quarter? not a few days.
- Imagine when all levels have renewals at Jan 1st (quite typical for Wild Apricot users). In this case when member upgrades on Dec 25th, his new level will be available only until Jan 1st, whilst he/she has paid for the full year.2. The reason I voted on this topic has to do with invoices and "pending-renewal"....
- This is a separate topic about this in our wishlist (https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/37762123). Hopefully, we will address this too.3. ...I would argue that his Sept 1, 2020 to Jan 1, 2021 dues would be (($36*(1/3) [new level pro-rated]) - (($24*(1/3) [old level pro-rated])) = $4. Correct with your proposal? Now if they are down-grading from silver to bronze they would have a credit of $4.
- You're right about upgrade calculations, as for downgrades - no automatic refunds here.4. For my organization we are based on "join date" - not a fixed renewal date.
- Your assumptions for levels with renewals on join date are correct, we're planning to behave the way you described. An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks for comments, DeeDee,
Let me confirm your example:
1. One year membership is active from Jun 1st 2020 to Jun 1st 2021
2. Member changes level in May 2021 to 3 year membership from Jun 1st 2021 to Jun 1st 2024 that costs 70$In this case it seems reasonable to pay for the whole 3 year membership AND renew till Jun 1st 2024, which is conflicting with your new members policy.
What do you think, if we make separate configurable pro-ration settings for level change - will it work for you? E.g.
1. Don't prorate membership level change
2. Instead, charge full regular level fee and extend renewal one additional period starting 1st MayAlso, what is the bigger concern? Losing $ or that new level privileges will be available in May, not June?

An error occurred while saving the comment No updates here, sorry. We have quite a lot on our plate and we always have to balance between value, number of customers, resources available, etc. Someday we will certainly get here, but no promises now.
An error occurred while saving the comment No ETA yet, sorry about this. Not 2018 most likely.
As I mentioned earlier, it's different from recurring payments for members and requires massive update of our financial keeping engine (invoices, payments, updating registration based in payments, etc). So introducing Wild Apricot payments is not helping here. -

An error occurred while saving the comment No perfect idea for automating such kind of registrations, except that adding fields for maximum amount of roommates into each registration form and properly instruct registrants.
No updates here, and nothing about forums in our immediate plans. Sorry about this
