Scheduling reminder in hours, not days, before the event
It would be very helpful if the reminder for the event could be scheduled in smaller increments than in days (for example an hour before the meeting).
Discussion:
1. The dialogue for scheduling actually allows this if one enters the decimal number. Unfortunately, the dialogue window then does not accept the data and refuses to "save".
2. This feature (i.e. scheduling prior to the event in increments smaller than entire days) is of a particular value now, when the meetings are often virtual. This way, the latest update with the link would add comfort to participants as they would receive the information "just in time."
3. The current automated alternative is to "change the timing of the event" some minutes ahead of the actual start, but this would potentially create confusion among the participants.

This issue goes beyond day-of reminders. If I schedule an event to start at 7 p.m., the announcements all go out at 7 p.m. Many of our members use their work emails and this causes the messages to get lost in the mass of overnight messages that typically get ignored. Allowing us to choose the time of day for the announcements would allow us to test and optimize for maximum open & response rates.

Event reminders should be allowed to be scheduled at a particular time. With many Zoom events, sending the Zoom link out a day in advance means that it is lost. I'd like to program the system to send a reminder 2 hours before the event. Right now, it only allows me to do so one day prior to the event. Instead I have to set a reminder on my phone to do this manually.

Totally agree that being able to schedule an event EDM at a date and time is long overdue.

all indications, as seen in the attached picture, show that the system does the calculations correctly. And assuming that the email functionality is driven by the resulting date and time stamp, then the fix to the problem is just have the "Send Email" data entry field accept a decimal value if the time to send is less that 1 day. Anything time of 1 day or greater should remain as a whole number.

We send out a reminder the morning of the event. We have to do this manually, rather than have the automatic reminder go out. This change would really help.

This suggestion had been made several times. Could someone from the Wild Apricot development team please comment on why nothing has (or is being) done about it. It seems like a 'no brainer,' since the functionality already exists elsewhere in the system.

Current event announcements go out at the time of the event. For example, our events tend to start at 5, so that is when the announcements go out. Please enable the ability to select the time of day we want the announcement to go out as well to something more optimal

The Event Reminder email can be set at a number of days before the event. If it is set at 1 day people who sign up on the day of the event do not receive it, if it is sent at 0 days it goes out at the event start time which is too late. We include the zoom link in the Event Reminder so it is crucial that it is sent, received and not lost. People lose emails sent out the day before! Our wish is that it can be sent out HALF a day before the event.

Seems silly to me that all event email announcements are disabled after the event starts. I have a multi-day event that I want to send reminders for. As it is, I have to keep moving the start date to the future so that I can send new emails. Additionally, not being able to schedule the time the emails go out is strange. If I want to schedule a reminder an hour before the event, I have to reset the start date to be an hour before.

Can you add a "schedule" reminder email option to include "1 hour" "30 min" and/or "15 min" prior to event (I like to prompt participants when it's time to log on).
