We continue our development. Here is what was going on in the last month:
We’ve finished the Event details screen:
Users will see the main information about an event here as well as add it to their calendar.
There is a registration types list also. Let’s pretend we scrolled down the previous screen a bit:
Now we can see general info about all registration types. We also can register on it or understand why we can’t do it.
Note the “View all sessions” button on the first picture? It appears if an event has multiple sessions and shows a separate screen with more details:
Our next step will be the “registration on event” process.
PS: Just want to remind you about our beta version we created a while ago:
Feel free to check it and leave any feedback you will have. We really appreciate it.
First, I like the member mobile app.. shows promise, and I appreciate all the work that's gone into it.
Initial feedback we've had from limited testing is that the app is great, but there is nowhere in the app that the information is linked to the organization.
It would be beneficial to have some sort of organization branding within the app once a member has logged in.
It would be beneficial to have the app78 votes
In the latest update 1.3.1 profile screen was made a default screen after login. We understand that it is not a complete solution for the problem, however we hope it will be helpful.
Allow admins to send notifications with some important information to member app users.39 votes
Currently the admin app only shows Contacts, Events and Emails. Please also incorporate Donations.8 votes
Add access to the member forum to the mobile member app
Our organization is a community and we rely on the sharing and of information on the online forum. We would like to see the forum added to the member app to drive participation.61 votes
Hi - our membership utilizes member directory app that not only allows us to view members by name, but also by group based on filters we created from Wild Apricot (e.g., Wine Club, K2020, Board, etc.). We also have the option to email the group. I would like to suggest this functionality be considered for the mobile app for Wild Apricot.3 votes
Similar to gadgets on the web page, allow organizations to control which content appears on their mobile app such as:
- Event List
- Member Directory
- Custom Directories
- An app module built from a specific web WA web page
Given these options, I could build and customize my organization's mobile app to meet out needs. One organization's app may only contain a member directory. Another organization may only want to show events on their app. Someone else might chose to have all options on their app.5 votes

We would like to see an actual calendar on the mobile app vs a list of events. This list is also in REVERSE chronological order. It would be great to have the times listed as well.1 vote
All the updates that you all have been adding are great. I love the app as an admin on our account. It really helps on the fly. The only this that it's missing to the capability to compose and email or edit a draft using the mobile app. This would help when events need to be cancelled last minute or announcements need to made quickly to members. Please consider adding the email drafting and edit feature to future updates to the app. :)1 vote
If you need to send email to attendees, that is completely possible. Just open related event and in the top right corner press button with dots. Then in popup menu pick “Email registrants”.
At the same time creating general purpose emails from scratch is not supported yet.
Would it be possible to add a feature to sort out the list of registrants for an event in first name - last name, instead of the reverse as it is currently the case?
This is when using the App on iPhone.
Members should be able to modify their registration or delete their registration on the member app.11 votes
Idea for App - Please set up support for one or two pages to be displayed with links out of the menu. They can either pull the page content directly in to the app or simply provide a browser link to the page. This would allow us to include a Member Benefits section on our app.1 vote
New App for Members could be used by our organization IF I can restrict which LEVELS of Memberships could ACCESS the App. Two of our Member Levels are NOT allowed to see All profile fields of the Owners. Currently, it's ALL Members or NO Members. We need a selection criteria under Allow application for members. Surely we aren't the only organization with this issue.4 votes
Everyone who can log into website also can log into mobile app.
Member app shows profile details in the same way as web version, with respect to field visibility settings and level of current user permissions.
Wild apricot allows to restrict field visibility to the following:
– show to anybody
– show to members only
– don’t show to others
Currently neither web version nor mobile app could restrict fields visibility to specific level.
Ride Leaders need to see a list of who has registered for a ride. The only way to do this currently is via admin privilege on the web site. For the mobile app to be useful we need to see who is registered for a ride, not just those who opted in to have their name appear on the public roster.3 votes
Interesting idea, thanks! I edited title a little so other users could find it easier.
Change the Admin Mobile app to show RSVP counts including registrations recorded by administrators. Currently the V3.0 app shows counts only based on emailed replies i.e.
- No reply
This will allow RSVPs that have been given through other means to be counted e.g. verbally. It also enable apologies signalled in advance to be recorded before the invitation email is sent.
It will also make it consistent with the browser view.1 vote
Currently, the call button doesn't appear unless the member has a home number entered. Lots of our members don't have if provide home numbers. Can this icon be changed to first listed number?
Or better still, move the icon down to the rhs of any number(s) provided?2 votes
I would like to see the mobile app to allow a member to login and if they are an event organizer they can see these event. They can add/remove/check in registrations and only see common data fields for contacts.
This is so the organiser can manage the registrants instead of hassling the trip coordinator.
While viewing My Tickets or an Event, would like to have the registered member list show. This works on the website, so we would like it on the Member App.1 vote
The website allows filtering of My Tickets for Upcoming and Past Events. We would like this function on the Member App. It would be idea to also be able to filter to show only Upcoming Confirm or Upcoming Waitlist.1 vote
- Don't see your idea?
