Recording donations from non-contacts
In the "Record Donation" page, donor details, allow option to create a new contact immediately using the details provided where the donor does not have a record in the organization. Current method of adding a contact first, followed by donation, is somewhat cumbersome.

I agree, we have donors who are not eligible to become members. We should just be able to enter the minimum information about the donor.

I found I needed to do the same thing. Customer service brought me to this page after being told that one had to (1) create a contact first, then (2) add them a a donor. I told them that is creating more steps, when a contact could be created immediately after manually creating the donation on the website.

We have some people, who are not members that donated every year. This would be a help to us.

I agree that requiring to select from existing contacts for manual entry of donations is awkward.
