  1. List of Past Events on a Calendar

    I would like to see an option to limit the number of items listed in "Past Events" at the bottom of a Calendar page. Because of the number of our events, the list gets too long - yet the historical information is useful to our membership. Perhaps limit by number, by month, or by year. At the very least, by actual number.

  2. PayPal Standard limitations on WA

    PayPal now offers many new options on it's site. For example, a basic subscription can have a duration (12 months for example). For an extra fee they also offer Installment payments and automatic billing (which is quite different than subscriptions) which would be great for our sponsorships which have a high dollar value. But WA hasn't changed it's software to reflect these new options and allow us to utilize them.

    Can these options, in full or part, be added through the code? I know PayPal has the ability to add them through API but I can't tell how to make…

  3. Tracking and setting a termination date for unpaid event registrations

    I would love to see a feature that would allow you to set an unpaid registration cancellation date. For instance, "(Member) your event registration will be cancelled if left unpaid more than ( _) days." For an employee to keep track of this is a headache. For your system to keep track of this is it's probably a few lines of new code.

  4. Member Directory: Disable access to profiles

    Several of my clients have multiple directories on their sites. On certain directories (not all), they would like to be able to prevent visitors from clicking on an entry to view the member details/profile screen. On other directories they do want visitors to be able to click through.

    It would be nice if there was a simple checkbox on the Edit Settings screen for directories that could be checked to turn off/on the link to the profile screen for all entries in a particular directory.

  5. Hide non-member registration types for members

    We set up a yearly event in which members and non members are invited to attend at different prices. I create different registration types and that all works fine. When a non member registers they only get the non-member registration types, that is good. But when an active member starts to register for the event they get both the member and non-member price options.

    Does anyone know a way to hide the non-member pricing from the logged-in members so they only get offered the member pricing? Am I missing a checkbox combination in setting up the Reg types?

  6. Advanced options for event registration types pricing

    We are finding the we would like to have sub-registration items available under main registration types. Hopefully, other will see a need for this. Here is what we are looking for.

    For instance, we set up an event and want to offer a exhibitor only pass as a registration type, however, we want to charge a daily rate for this pass. So similar to how the registration form "multiple choice with extra cost" function works, we would like the registration type to work the same way as follows:
    Exhibits Only Registration (no price listed)

  7. Make the New Dashboard configurable

    The new dashboard does not give me any pertinent information. Some glaring shortcomings of the new dashboard:
    1. You charge us by the number of people on our contact list, but that number is now hidden (not on the new dashboard). This makes administration of the account harder, thanks alot Wild Apricot.
    2. Not all our members levels are considered "members". We have members of our parent organization and our sponsors as member levels. I should be able to specify which members levels are considered "true members" and shown on the members graph.

  9. WA Store: Bulk-Import via CSV / Social media integration / Search products

    Wishlist for Wild Apricot online store?

    1. Ability to bulk-import products via CSV file
    2. Ability to integrate with social media

  10. Make forum accessible via email

    We have been using the forum gadget for our discussion forum. We suggest 3 sueful additions for this gadget:
    1. Receiving an email for each message that is posted, with the whole message contained in the email
    2. Being able to reply to an existing message by replying via email
    3. Being able to post a new message to the forum by sending it via email

    It would be great if this good be implemented at some stage. Thank you!

  11. Customizable Reply to: field in membership emails.

    Under member emails, why is the organization default the only email allowed in the reply to field? We have a membership person who should receive membership emails but there is no way of sending only membership emails to her, it goes organization email which means she would get all or nothing.
    There should be no reason the reply to field cannot be customized per email template, not sure why you have set it as uncustomizable.

  12. Organize products by category

    We need the ability to organize products by category and sub-category. For example, "apparel", "lessons", "events", etc.

    We intend to sell a number of different items in our online store to our members. As it is, members have to hunt through several unrelated items to find the one that they are interested in. Right now, I can somewhat limit the confusion by putting tags on the items and creating "sub-stores" that only show specific tags, but that is a bit confusing also.   14. Convert a simple event to an advanced event

    It would be nice to have the ability to convert a simple event to an advanced event if you start a simple event and realize you need the advanced functionality of the advanced event. Sometimes it’s chosen mistakenly or sometimes you realize you need more functionality and it would be nice

  15. Redirect to a Custom Page after Event registration

    Ability to redirect registerants to a custom landing page after they register for an event so we can track online ad conversions.
    As an event management system, we need the ability to monitor which of our marketing strategies are converting and driving people to register for your events. Not having this is a massive impact to our Marketing Team budget

  16. Photo Order

    When uploading photos the last one uploaded shows up first! It would be great if photos could be ordered the other way...the first one shows first, the next one uploaded shows second. If not, then at least have the ability to move photos so they appear in the order we want them to show.

    I would like to see the option to save an email as a template from everywhere an email can be created. Currently, I have to go to the email log and create templates from there, which is fine if the email has been sent. But there is no option to save as a template when you are editing emails from events or membership levels. I want all of my emails to have the same look and feel.   18. calendar event export

    We're transitioning to WA from a hodgepodge of sites and used Meetup to manage our events. I'd like to see the event export functionality that Meetup and Evite have. For both Meetup & Evite, their export process is:
    1) Click Export/Add to Calendar
    2) Select your particular calendar (google, iCal, outlook, yahoo)
    3) Click Save to save it to your calendar [for Google anyway]

    This is far easier and more elegant than having to download a file, find where it's saved to select it, and import. While you can save it from the event registration email, that creates a calendar…

    If you want to add event to your calendar from member-facing page, then you could use mobile app for members. Each event there can be added to your device calendar in a single tap.

    If you want to make a mass export of your events in other calendar system, like Google calendar, then you can use integration service Integromat. We already have a preconfigured integration scenario for WA + Google calendar pair and a similar one could be easily implemented for other calendars.   19. Ability to CC an email for registration on events

    We need to have the ability to have a secondary email for event registrations. If a person registers for an event and wants to have their assistant in the notifications currently there is no ability for this.
