UTC times in event gadget
We are an Australasian organisation and have events spanning many time zones. So when events are lsited in the gadget, sometimes they have times listed as "(UTC+13:00)", for example. This looks confusing, and we would prefer to simply have the date, and no times at all. There's no need for a start time in the gadget, especially when an event is weeks or months away.
I am told I can remove the date and time completely, but not just the time.
Please make it possible to remove the time and leave the date there.

Multi-Session Events
Hello,
Both of our divisions host a number of events that actually occur over multiple time-space blocks. Much as, say, a college class would be organized, registering for one event actually entails being potentially scheduled into all of the subsequent sessions of the event on that schedule. A subset of these events are tournaments whereby not everyone signed up for the event will continue to the next session; in this case the event's sponsor or coordinator will want to adjust the attendees proceeding into a subsequent session. Tracking attendance using card swipe system
We are considering using WA to support our group, however we really need to account for attendance using a card swipe system. I am disappointed that this functionality is not currently available, and worse yet, does not even seem to be on the priority list. Seems pretty simple.

Separate form field labels from field ids
Wild Apricot's current requirement that all field labels be unique results in cluttered forms when the same information is required in different contexts. For example, a form that requires the name, email, cell phone for the event attendee, their emergency contact, their family member plus the name and phone of their preferred medical practitioner, hospital, etc. Ideally, the use of section headers would negate the need to have unique names but currently this does not impact the unique field name requirement (indeed, it is only a visual section heading; not supported as such in the code).

Website theme description (description, features, constrains) to simplify selection
It would be great if beside each theme offered, there were a description of its main features and constraints, i.e: dynamic/flyout or static, dimensions of the header (if static - not sure how you would describe it if dynamic), easily replaceable elements, etc.

Silent Auction
Has anyone set up a Silent Auction using the WA event/registration system? I have a feeling that this is going to be a pretty difficult thing to do.
If they have are there any tips they can give me before I dive into planning this event?

Keep event registration invoices when actual event is deleted
I deleted an event from past. Now I have hundreds of "overpayment". What is the best way to address these overpayments? In the future, can the event details and the financials somehow run independent of each other so we dont have to keep an bunch of past events?

Ability to invoice at group level rather than individual
Many of our events have a cost associated with them, however the cost is invoiced to their organisation (rather than the individual paying). It would be great if, using the group functionality, we could invoice for the event at the group level and the invoice would include the event cost for individuals that attended the event from that particular group.
This would be set in the Registration Type screen where a particular registration type is set to 'group invoicing'.

Separate billing contact for event registration
I suggest adding another email field in the contact profile for the Accounts Payable. Often the contact who is registering is not in billing and if the registrant does not pay by credit card then then the A/P staff does not know they owe money b/c the contact does not forward the confirmation invoice via email. This is especially cumbersome with multiple employees in one company.

Income Forecast Report
I just started using Wild Apricot and was looking for an Income Forecast report that will look at upcoming renewals and will report on this.
This will allow for better budgeting.
Maybe even a yearly graph so we can see which months we will not see much income from renewals.
This would allow us to focus our efforts on this month to help smooth out cashflow over the entire year.I hope this makes it into the next release as it seems like a simple report, all the information is already in the system.

would like Renewal date to move forward to payment date
As currently configured, a member who renews during the grace period retains the same renewal date, incremented by the membership period (1 year in our case). But if they are lapsed, the renewal date bumps forward to the payment date + 1 year.
We would like to have all overdue and lapsed renewals bump forward to the date they pay. This is an issue for us because we are generous with giving people a fairly long grace period (60 days). It seems unfair that someone who renews 59 days late still has the same renewal date the next year, but…

I understand WA is working on a major architectural back end redesign. Well appreciated.
And, I still think its one of the best non profit, membership-turnkey solutions out there..
At this point, I do have to speak up, and suggest you implore some of these real easy enhancements asap before we loose ground.
Easy stuff like having the ability to sort in the forum by last in first posted ? So common .. in fact in practice on WA forums. There are many other examples in this "wish list" that are easy, and logical.

Access Guest information in macros
We register members and guests for our events. We need to get to all of the guest information easily online in WA without having to export it for manipulation.
How come there is no macro for [EventField_All} for guest registrations? Right now all we can do is get to guest price, name, and price.
We need to send our members confirmations of their event registrations that include a lot of detailed information. The members need all of this information for the guests, too.

Block Comments entirely/hide "add comment"
As I stated in the wishlist thread for Job Modules, I had originally hoped to use the blogs module to manage our jobs postings, since they're relatively infrequent, and since it has an RSS feed, but at the time it didn't look like the "Add Comment" could be shut off, and we definitely don't want comments with job posts.
I went back and revisited this, and when I switch all the possible visitor types to 'Read', the 'Add Comment' is still visible to the public. I can log in as a member, type out a comment, and click the button…

Different Form Options for Guests
I am hoping that someone will be able to tell me how to do this, perhaps a workaround I haven't thought of?
We are trying to use WA for our conference registration and are having issues because we include hotel stays with our conference fees. Basically, we register attendees by group so they are either ALL members or ALL non-members. Great because the primary contact can register all of their board members/staff at one time and the system knows that they are members so their pricing will be correct. Member database field with picture
We would like a multiple choice field where we can associate a different picture (credential logo) from our file to each item. When members attain the associated credential, the picture (logo) would come up on their profile. Currently, our workaround takes up extra memory as we add a new picture for every credential for each member.
Current Example:

Percentage of members renewing
Hi,
I need to know the percentage of members renewing. Member list tells me how many accounts have Renewal Overdue, but I need some context for that number. A raw number doesn't really tell me much, since I don't know if it 100 percent of existing members, or 5 percent.
Is there any easy way to obtain this number? I tried advanced search, but I couldn't figure out parameters that would show me active versus renewed versus overdue.
If there's not a way today, could this be added in to a future version of this? It's a valuable statistic to…

Add report on event payments by tender [9008]

Discounts for the total purchase
Currently, discounts are applied by member type, or by event registration type. But there is no way to discount the full cart (say 10% off your order). Why not?

Charts and visualizations
We're always looking for ways to make Wild Apricot more useful, and also more exciting and fun. One thing that can actually do both is the use of graphs and visualizations. They're handy to track progress of your activities, and can also be put into sideshows and reports. We've had a lot of people ask for a way to quickl summarize their organization in a series of charts
