  1. Ability to invoice at group level rather than individual

    Many of our events have a cost associated with them, however the cost is invoiced to their organisation (rather than the individual paying). It would be great if, using the group functionality, we could invoice for the event at the group level and the invoice would include the event cost for individuals that attended the event from that particular group.

    This would be set in the Registration Type screen where a particular registration type is set to 'group invoicing'.

  2. Separate billing contact for event registration

    I suggest adding another email field in the contact profile for the Accounts Payable. Often the contact who is registering is not in billing and if the registrant does not pay by credit card then then the A/P staff does not know they owe money b/c the contact does not forward the confirmation invoice via email. This is especially cumbersome with multiple employees in one company.

  3. Income Forecast Report

    I just started using Wild Apricot and was looking for an Income Forecast report that will look at upcoming renewals and will report on this.

    This will allow for better budgeting.

    Maybe even a yearly graph so we can see which months we will not see much income from renewals.
    This would allow us to focus our efforts on this month to help smooth out cashflow over the entire year.

    I hope this makes it into the next release as it seems like a simple report, all the information is already in the system.

  4. would like Renewal date to move forward to payment date

    As currently configured, a member who renews during the grace period retains the same renewal date, incremented by the membership period (1 year in our case). But if they are lapsed, the renewal date bumps forward to the payment date + 1 year.

    We would like to have all overdue and lapsed renewals bump forward to the date they pay. This is an issue for us because we are generous with giving people a fairly long grace period (60 days). It seems unfair that someone who renews 59 days late still has the same renewal date the next year, but…

    Some observations from the field:

    I understand WA is working on a major architectural back end redesign. Well appreciated.

    And, I still think its one of the best non profit, membership-turnkey solutions out there..

    At this point, I do have to speak up, and suggest you implore some of these real easy enhancements asap before we loose ground.

    Easy stuff like having the ability to sort in the forum by last in first posted ? So common .. in fact in practice on WA forums. There are many other examples in this "wish list" that are easy, and logical.

  6. Access Guest information in macros

    We register members and guests for our events. We need to get to all of the guest information easily online in WA without having to export it for manipulation.

    How come there is no macro for [EventField_All} for guest registrations? Right now all we can do is get to guest price, name, and price.

    We need to send our members confirmations of their event registrations that include a lot of detailed information. The members need all of this information for the guests, too.

  7. Block Comments entirely/hide "add comment"

    As I stated in the wishlist thread for Job Modules, I had originally hoped to use the blogs module to manage our jobs postings, since they're relatively infrequent, and since it has an RSS feed, but at the time it didn't look like the "Add Comment" could be shut off, and we definitely don't want comments with job posts.

    I went back and revisited this, and when I switch all the possible visitor types to 'Read', the 'Add Comment' is still visible to the public. I can log in as a member, type out a comment, and click the button…

  8. Different Form Options for Guests

    I am hoping that someone will be able to tell me how to do this, perhaps a workaround I haven't thought of?

    We are trying to use WA for our conference registration and are having issues because we include hotel stays with our conference fees. Basically, we register attendees by group so they are either ALL members or ALL non-members. Great because the primary contact can register all of their board members/staff at one time and the system knows that they are members so their pricing will be correct.   9. Member database field with picture

    We would like a multiple choice field where we can associate a different picture (credential logo) from our file to each item. When members attain the associated credential, the picture (logo) would come up on their profile. Currently, our workaround takes up extra memory as we add a new picture for every credential for each member.

    Current Example:

  10. Percentage of members renewing

    Hi,

    I need to know the percentage of members renewing. Member list tells me how many accounts have Renewal Overdue, but I need some context for that number. A raw number doesn't really tell me much, since I don't know if it 100 percent of existing members, or 5 percent.

    Is there any easy way to obtain this number? I tried advanced search, but I couldn't figure out parameters that would show me active versus renewed versus overdue.

    If there's not a way today, could this be added in to a future version of this? It's a valuable statistic to…

    I'd like to rename the thread, or perhaps it should be a separate thread?

    Enhance Payment Report to separately total Manual Payments and On Line Payments as it did before

  12. Discounts for the total purchase

    Currently, discounts are applied by member type, or by event registration type. But there is no way to discount the full cart (say 10% off your order). Why not?

    We're always looking for ways to make Wild Apricot more useful, and also more exciting and fun. One thing that can actually do both is the use of graphs and visualizations. They're handy to track progress of your activities, and can also be put into sideshows and reports. We've had a lot of people ask for a way to quickl summarize their organization in a series of charts

    Like anything cool and fun (and useful!) it can take a while to develop them, and there's nothing we dislike more than spending a lot of time on something that doesn't meet…

  14. Renewal discount when renewing for several years

    My club, The Carp Anglers Group, offers one year membership for $25. Before we used WA, we managed our membership with checks in the mail and an excel spreadsheet. We accepted $25 for one year, but offered a discount if a member joined for 3 years- $65 instead of 75.

    The only way to replicate this currently in WA is with more levels. That won't work for us. We have levels of membership already set up for USA, Mexico, Canada, and an E-membership. Adding 2 more levels to each of these would be very difficult, plus then I could not…

  15. Customization of event list view - and persisence of selected view

    It would be very helpful for administrators to have multiple options for viewing the Event list, including:
    * by date/time ascending (next event first)

    • alphabetical by event name.

    We're managing dozens of small events each year and need to have up to six months' worth of events listed at a time. This would help in reviewing/editing upcoming events and in copying lists of events to e-mail messages, HTML newsletters, and text documents. The current reverse chronological order of the list forces me to copy and paste each event individually in order to get them in chronological order.

  16. Online payment discount for event registrations

    Current behavior:
    For event registrations, whether people choose online or manual payment, this does not affect the price.

    Desired behavior:
    Becauseof possible no-shows, it is desirable to be able to motivate people topre-pay online instead of manually or at the door. Thus, administratorshould be able to specify a discount applicable for onlineregistrations (probably a dollar amount)

  17. Add Header Image Option to Event Fields

    Images can be posted in the description, which is great. But it would be nicer if there was a Header Image upload or link feature where the image doesn't need to be embedded in the description. That way, the image can be formatted at the top of the event, and the description below it.

    This enables being able to edit the description in the mobile admin app, which is tricky with events that have the image at the beginning of the description. It then also standardizes the location of the image and make it consistent across all events.

  18. Pre-warning to admin before renewals go out

    It would be nice if admin received notification, before renewals are auto-sent out. A day or two warning would be enough, just to be able to look over the email that is sent, review pricing, etc. That way, you can still utilize the auto-send features that WA uses for renewals, but it also gives you a moment to review things before they are sent.

  19. Auto-Suspend Guests after 3 Events

    Membership is not growing, because people say they can just pay $10 more to attend every event. We would like to control event registration to only allow guests to attend 3 times and then suspend them...taking them to a page that tells them the benefits of being a member and encourages them to apply now. This could easily be managed in the Events section using Contact levels. You would need to require a password registration on all public registrations.     When will passkeys be an option for users to authenticate into the website without the need for a password? See the FIDO Alliance [https://fidoalliance.org/] and/or https://www.passkeys.com/

    Safer than passwords, No 2FA or Captcha needed. Easy to use.
