  1. Access Guest information in macros

    We register members and guests for our events. We need to get to all of the guest information easily online in WA without having to export it for manipulation.

    How come there is no macro for [EventField_All} for guest registrations? Right now all we can do is get to guest price, name, and price.

    We need to send our members confirmations of their event registrations that include a lot of detailed information. The members need all of this information for the guests, too.

  2. Customize event attendee list - both public and admins sides

    Is it possible to customize what information is shown on the Registered attendee list that people can click on in event registration?

    Specifically for our purposes, our trade show exhibitors can apply for their booth space through the event registration system. Rather than date and name, I'd like the list to show company name, products and website.

    Merged several posts together, so that both public and admins lists can be customized. This is better for analysis and design to work on them together.

  3. Functionality to generate physical letters

    My organization is not going to go entirely digital. I need to generate the occasional physical letter. The idea is that in addition to being able to generate ad-hoc emails, I want to be able to generate ad-hoc physical mailings. But they are not really ad-hoc; they correspond to points in my organization's processes that do not map to WildApricot. I want to store templates for these letters in WildApricot; when the need arises, I would like to be able to ask WildApricot to instantiate a template I pick for a member I pick.   4. Email Subscription Widget

    Welcome the new email subscription form page. But it would be great to be able to present this as a Wild Apricot widget in any desired website page, as with rest of Wild Apricot widgets. Many membership-/social network-based websites have a quick and easy sign up widget/box on their main pages. Hope to see this as a Wild Apricot widget soon!   5. Communications tracking (CRM)

    I am posting this suggestion based on email exchange with a client - so that we can get more feedback from others.

    Even though we don't normally refer to Wild Apricot as a CRM system, it has many things in common with CRM:


    • database of contacts


    • tracking of various transactions with each contact

  6. Block Comments entirely/hide "add comment"

    As I stated in the wishlist thread for Job Modules, I had originally hoped to use the blogs module to manage our jobs postings, since they're relatively infrequent, and since it has an RSS feed, but at the time it didn't look like the "Add Comment" could be shut off, and we definitely don't want comments with job posts.

    I went back and revisited this, and when I switch all the possible visitor types to 'Read', the 'Add Comment' is still visible to the public. I can log in as a member, type out a comment, and click the button…

  7. Links to external sites as Menu Items

    Currently a menu item has to be a WA object (content page, event listing, forum, etc.). If I want to link to an external website (your national organization for example) or even a specific event registration page as a menu item, you have to create an empty content page and use JavaScript and/or a meta tag redirect to send the user on (See this help page for additional detail: http://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Redirecting+a+page ).

  8. Text (SMS) communications with attendees, members, etc.

    I did not see this on the wishlist in the list of 339, unless i missed it :).

    SMS (text) notication option would be great to have as alot of our members use texting on their phones. Email works good too but push text woould be great to have as an option for communication. Thanks.

    After initial analysis we decided to remove this feature from 2017 plans. Right now we don’t have clear understanding when this feature will be taken into development.

  9. Log of changes - who deleted a contact, registration, or changed data

    Is there a way to find out which admin deleted or changed a contact registration or details.

    For example we have an event which a company registered their attendees and paid online. One of the admins deleted the registration. Is there a way to find out which admin deleted that contact?

    If this is not available could is possibly be added in the future? I like the fact that the 4.0 service will allow read only admin access which will help with this issue but I am still curious which of my admins deleted that contact.

  10. Customization of Email sent during Membership Level Change workflow

    When a member changes there level, the system automatically sends them an email. Since there is an option to choose "manual payment", we need to be able to add our physical address to the email.

  11. FORUM - include full posting text in email digest

    Because the daily forum summary only includes topics and links, users are not willing to switch from Yahoo groups. We'd rather not maintain both systems, obviously. People want to read the post on their mobile device email instead of having to logon to see them.

    We need to be able to specify if our daily digest will include just the topics and links, or contain the full text of the new postings. Would be nice if users could switch their individual setting from the site default if they don't want full text, for example.

  12. Financial Reporting: Break out extra charges

    Anytime Memberships are reported out, maybe not at the high summary level, but at the indivdual membership level I would like to see a breakdown of membership fee vs. extra item fee (e.g. In July I had $500 of membership income, how much was from elite level, how much from regular level, and for each, what percentage is membership fee and what percentage is extra items).

  13. Adding "Read more" link to event details

    Hello there,

    We sometimes have events that have many speakers for which we give bios of each. This can make the event description quite lengthy. In order to shorten the event description so that it's not so overwhelming for the potential attendee, it would be great to have the ability for a "Read more" link within the event description. That way, if someone wants to read more about Jane Doe's life, then he/she can just click the "Read more" link and be taken to a separate page just for that person.   14. Admin to approve membership renewals

    I realize this is a stretch, but our organization wants to require administrator approval not just for new applications, but for renewals.

    For example, we have a discounted rate for full time students. We require that people show evidence they are full time students before we activate their membership. We can control this on the Member Level > New Applications tab with a checkbox under "Membership application review"

    But once they are approved, a year later, they can renew at the same level even if they are no longer eligible for the discount.

    Anyone has a solution for this?

    I would like to be able to export the Event registration fields report

  16. Registering families / bundles for events

    I've really had to finagle the system to make it possible for us to have an event to which children are likely to attend with their parents. At present, we have the ability to have guest registrations at a different rate, or guest registrations at the same rate, or the ability to have everyone register separately. What's needed is to have the cardholder be able to register everyone according to whatever rate they should get. For example:

  17. Increase the number of scheduled event announcements

    I agree! The per event scheduling is a great feature BUT it would be nice to schedule an email blast for all the events on a schedule.

    We use our website for our training events and members are receiving 6 - 10 notifications a month. Even though they love our training events they do not like receiving individual notifications.

    Any chance that this will be in a future release?

  18. Provide event name on Financial documents

    When using the Financial tab, it is difficult to tell the source of the transaction, other than the general "event registration". For events, it would be extremely helpful if the list displayed the name of the specific event. Now you have to open the transaction to see which event it is for.

    This problem is even more apparent when viewing open balances from canceled registrations ---- WA does not record the source of the cancelation (except within the specific event). And since the invoice is deleted on cancels, there is no record in WA of the actual DATE of the…

  19. Order forum summary other than alphabetical

    When using multiple forums, the forums are listed in the summary in alphabetical order. I would like my discussion forum users to see the forums in an order that I choose, not alphabetical. I would also like to leave the forum names as is, instead of re-naming with a prefix to get the correct order.

    For example, I would like my users to see the "Rules" forum at the top of the forum summary and my "Everything Else" forum to appear at the bottom. Currently they appear within my forum summary where "R" and "E" fall in the alphabet.

  20. Control size and number of pictures members can add to their photo albums

    We allow our members to upload photos into a photo album shown with their Profile. Our level allows each image to be up to 25MB and that is way too big for viewing satisfactorily and will also use up our maximum allowed MB in no time. We also have no way to limit the number of images in an album. The automatic features of limiting how many albums there are is nice as is the automatic thumbnail feature with a click to show the full image.
