  1. 24 Hour Contact Service

    We need 24 hour call service! Emergency hotline should be an option for this type of website service. OR Allow us to update our account to adjust our need. The HELP directions explained how to do it, but the site did not match the help directions. It is not ok that we had to update a payment option for our services to go over our contact limit and we could not update it on the site without assistance. We had a National competition this weekend and could not get any help to allow additional membership and registration.

  2. Allow Contact Profile as an Entry in Site Menu

    Now that members can see and print their membership cards from their profile, we want to give them a less circuitous way to get there, by putting the profile in the dropdown menu.

    In the meantime, a workaround is to create a dummy page that redirects to the profile page. This is done by creating a page with text (ours says "One moment, please" to display something sensible while redirecting) and inserting the following snippet in the text box with the <S> tool:

  3. Ability to create database fields that can be filled out separately from the membership application

    I'm creating a website for a social organization. They would love to have "extended profile" fields (such as interests, hobbies, etc.) that are not part of the initial membership application. They worry that including a ton of fields in the membership application might increase the barrier for signing up, so these need to be separate from the application so that members can fill them out later.

  4. Linking Invoices to Events

    I would like to be able to link the following:
    Contact to Event to Invoice. We are a community center that has a membership base but also rents out our facility.
    We need to quote prices for specific events and then invoice for the event (rental of facility) when they decide to book it. And we need to be able to link the contact and the invoice to the event (facility rental).   5. COMMUNITY TIMELINE

    I will have a need to add a full featured social timeline to my Wild Apricot website in the near future.

    My current project is being developed using software from https://www.socialengine.com/ , but the upcoming project will require more robust member management tools.

    It would be great if WA would make integration possible, or add the features to their software.

  6. Restrict bundle administrator to access to personal details of bundle members

    I am testing membership bundle function and I recognize that the bundle administrator when log into his/her account will be able to view personal profile of bundle members. Therefore, I set up privacy setting of bundle members to be "Do not show profile to others" except their first name and last name. However, it does not make any changes. As a site administrator, I would like to restrict the bundle administrator's accessibility to personal details of bundle members because that's privacy.

  7. "Member since" and "Renewal due on" fields

    I hate the fact that the "member since" field and the "renewal due on" field are not automatically populated any more because frankly it just causes more work. I need to be able to edit other fields under membership, specifically whether or not the applicant is a state CAMFT member, whether her/his CAMFT/license numbers are correct, etc. PRIOR to approving his/her membership, not after. One can always edit the dates, should one choose to do so, so the fields being blank serves no purpose, other than making things more difficult and time-consuming.

    Recent Blog Widget not Refreshing on it's own.

    I called into Tech support and this is an issue they are working on. Maybe it's just my site, or others are having the same issue.

    Workaround - If you find this happening on your site:
    * ADMIN VIEW
    * WEBSITE
    * SITE PAGES
    * BLOG
    * EDIT (you don't need to make any changes)
    * SAVE

    Complete and refreshed!

  9. Automated Repeating Email

    Provide the ability to send out an email repeatedly according to a schedule.

    That's the suggestion. Now I'll tell you how to fake it. :)

    Create a repeating event to provide the schedule. Enter the email as an announcement email. So now the email will go out
    repeatedly to whichever recipients you specify.

    If the announcement is a deadline - for example, a reminder for monthly newsletter submissions - you have the option to make the event visible, either to all, or just to the group of recipients. Or you can leave the event in Admin (invisible) status and still…

  11. Event options dependent on other options

    I would like to add some choices in an event that are only applicable if another option has been chosen. Such as add a T-shirt option (most often in conjunction with attending and event), and then be able to select color, size, style of T-shirt.

    I would like to see the name or address of an image I have added to a gadget, like a content gadget, when I go to edit the gadget contents. That way I will know exactly what picture I added to a gadget later so I can add it to another gadget later.

    Need to upgrade all WA widgets from iFrame. Right now, with Safari for MacOS High Sierra and iOS 11, a new option to "prevent cross-site tracking," was created. This prevents the user from using any of the WA widgets embedded in a website.

  14. Make only the bundled administrator count towards membership.

    Is there a way to make the bundled membership administrator the only one that "counts" as a member? When we, as a chamber, include even bundled members, it skews our numbers.

    I would like to see updates to membership levels linked to invoice updates. We made errors in intial input of membership levels for several members and when membership level was updated it did not automatically update the invoice.

  17. Link Events to Contacts (for scheduling events)

    I would like a link between an Event and the Contact that scheduled the event. So that I could click on an event in the calendar and have access to the contact vice versa , click on a contact and see all events they have scheduled. And icing on the cake would be to be able to select existing contact info when setting up an event.

    Exchanging tickets for an event is a complicated process. The original purchaser (member) must be cancelled and their account credited for the amount of the event, then the new purchaser (member) must be registered and invoiced. A single step within Wild Apricot would save much time and effort.

  19. Members who are in arrears can't register for events? Since when? How inconvenient is this?

    I don't know of a single association that doesn't have members in arrears past their renewal date that are kept on the books. Someone had the bright idea to automatically keep members out of events if they're past their registration date. In theory, I understand why this was a requested change, though I can't remember seeing the request. But a toggle should be made either in the setup on the backend or for each event to allow pending members register for an event. I mean, common sense, people!   20. Ticket number with registration

    We have an upcoming association conference and we're doing a concert one night. I've made an event to register for the conference, and a separate event to register for the concert.

    The concert has two ticket types: Front row and general.

    It would be cool if:
    A) When people registered for the concert, they got a ticket.
    B) It would be cool if each ticket had a customizable ticket number that we could use to assign seating based on when people bought the ticket.
