Create a separate role for Poll Manager to allow for managing polls
Thanks for a great product! It would be great if permissions for managing POLLS could be separated out as is currently done for Membership Manager, Events, etc. - This granularity of control would allow full admins to more easily and dynamically manage access to sensitive polls while they are still gathering votes. This would also allow us to delegate polling responsibilities to volunteers or other members to whom we do not wish to grant the role of Membership Manager. Thanks for any consideration you may be able to give this suggestion.

Increase lenght of answers in Polls
We use the membership poll for elections, which works great! But we also use the poll so that members can vote on proposed bylaws amendments. The body of the poll is limited on space. It would be great if this was not limited. Each question in the Q & A portion is also limited. Could there be an option for an unlimited question text box which would allow us to enter the current bylaw language and the proposed bylaw language the allow the user to vote. Offer Multiple Announcement Emails
Enhance polling capability to allow for multiple "announcement emails" similar to the event announcement capabilities. This would enable us to invite members to take the poll and not send the email to members that have already taken the poll.

Data Needed for Determining Polling Results
The Polling functionality should include the number of individuals the poll was sent to. This information is required when calculating the percentage of votes received to determine results.

New type of poll question with the link
(From a client) Ability to add a text box before a question to link to a picture or discuss something. The following question might be a Yes/No question. Useful for asking opnions on which option they prefer. (ie logo design, or menu selection, etc)

Add more answer types in polls
Why are there only radio buttons and check boxes when creating a poll. The ability to add a drop down, text box (not the Add Other Option) etc...will be very useful.
Also, when you preview a Poll you should see it exactly as it will look. Currently, the text box from the Add Other Option only shows after the Poll is published which makes no sense!

Open poll for public not only for logged in members. Do not require login to vote

Add gadget that list all open polls
(from a client) Have a Poll Gadget to add to web pages. Gadget should list all open Polls that are either Public or that logged on user is authorized to. For users that are not logged on (ie Public) – restricted polls should be shown but not selectable. There should be wording indicating that these Polls require login to access

Feedback on Polls
Feedback on the polls feature.
1) I love that you are working on this and really that this is a beta.
2) Would love to be able to stop and edit a poll rather than having to stop the polling and delete the whole poll.
3) Would love to be able to change the CSS (like a gadget) I do realize I can do this by changing the template CSS but the people I work with are not all webmasters.
4) Would love to easily embed the poll rather than link to it

We prefer to keep one thread for the particular request, not combine them together. That helping us to focus on specific request, collect comments and votes for it.

New voting feature: Track voting participation
We need to be able to see who has participated in a poll without seeing their votes. Please create a new feature that tracks member participation while simultaneously keeping their votes anonymous. I manage multiple associations and board members always want to know which members have participated in voting polls.

POLLS FOR EVENTS
We are doing a survey on a recent event and it seems I can't just send to event attendees.
I'd love to be able to select the list from either all, member level, groups or events.
This will save me having to create a group for an event just for the polls.
Can you please add this???

Introduce Min amount of replies required per poll to complement the max amount of replies
As a result of the Covid- 19, face-to-face voting held during AGMs will have to be replaced by online voting.
Despite that the polls functionality is fantastic, we are not able to make use of it. Currently, the system allows you to enter the maximum number of responses required by the respondent. Is there no possibility of introducing the minimum amount? Example: Minimum no of replies is 4, maximum is 7.

Is it possible to create a group out of a search result?
That would be very handy!!!Suggestion: Also creating groups by a poll answer could be very beneficial for marketing reasons...

More flexible formatting for polls
Poll formatting is very limited and can only be changed by means of CSS. Even so, it is difficult to figure out which classes to write CSS for.
1. Questions are formatted with H2. This is wrong. Just because the only hierarchical level currently above the question is the page title does not make a question a header!
2. H* formats should be reserved for real headers, such as section headers (see https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/42891228-support-dividing-questions-into-sections-in-polls).
Possible solutions:

Enable Proxy Voting for formal Votes (boards)
Allow Proxy Voting on Polls
We want to use the Poll feature for Board votes, but sometimes a board member can't go online but gives their Proxy to the Board Secretary to Vote on their behalf. So, we need Admin access to add Votes on behalf of specific Voters, without having to Login to their user account. The Proxy vote on behlf of a designated Voter should be registered to that User Account and record Who (which User with Admin priv. cast the Proxy Vote).20 votes
