  1. Embed LinkedIn login option as one of the preferred website login options

    As you know, many HR and Business professionals (particularly Recruiters/Talent Acquisition specialists) leverage LinkedIn as their preferred social network of choice, and use the LinkedIn login utility (instead of Facebook or Google+) as a means to login to jobsites (Indeed), professional/society webpages, etc..

    Can the LinkedIn login also appear on the Wild Apricot client's webpage, as one of the login options?

  2. More Email Templates!

    Love the templates -- but want more! Like back to school, President's Day, Woman's History Month that kind of stuff... Would also like more membership samples for renewal notices, profile update, membership drives...oh and some with imagery for events that has more of a business focus. And lastly perhaps some more inclusive variations for some of the holiday templates. Example - Christmas is a religious holiday that is not recognized by some and is not necessarily appropriate to send.   5. Bulk import of event data form a structured file

    Provide ability to import bulk event information from either an sql, excel file or tab delimited file. We have upwards of 60 events to enter three times a year. Now, each event has multiple cut an pastes to enter them in Wild Apricot.

  6. Clear search box after each search

    It would be great to have search boxes empty each time I go into them.They currently store the last search characters (name or organisation etc) and in order to do a search, I have to clear out the space first. It's just one more set of clicks in the process that I'd rather do without!

  7. Reserved seating at an event (ticket sales)

    It would be so great to be able to reserve specific seats at our HOA events, this is the only reason we are not using the reservation/tickets sales module.
    I would like to be able to add a graphic of the seating arrangement which is hyperlinked and when clicked on would open a larger.pdf to see the seat id numbers. Then list them to be selected. When purchased they would be automatically be removed from the seating list. Like is done on airlines and sports events.

  9. Ability to join next period of membership and pay for it instead of pro-rating the fee of current period

    Our mob teaches seniors to seniors.
    We have 4 calendar terms.
    Renewing members are invoiced $27 every 3 months 28 days prior to end off term … with 14 day reminders et al.
    New members are invoiced on a prorated basis $9, $18 or $27 depending upon which month of the term they join.

    Still with me??? Deep breath now ….

    1) Any new member who wants to join at the start of the NEXT term, which is normal
    for anyone who enquires toward the end of a term cannot be invoiced until the start of that NEXT term.

  10. Separate profile page for contacts vs. members

    Dear Wild Apricot,

    I am setting up an account that has various membership levels plus it allows people to sign up just for an email newsletter without membership. It would be really nice to have a separate profile page (or the ability to set fields for the profile) based on membership or non-membership. The profile page shows invoices as well as subscriptions to forums to forums, for example, to people who are non-members. I think this is confusing.

    Definitely need to allow us to create expand/collapse list on website pages. You even have it throughout your manual so it's very frustrating that we cannot use it. The Support response I received was to use one of your partners so that would mean paying for your system and then having to pay a third company. This is a deal breaker as to whether I progress from the trial.

  13. Make it possible to batch edit event access levels i.e. change from admin to pub lic or restricted.

    We post events as they are submitted but do not want people to see the future event list e.g. summer events until a specific date, so the access is set to admin only. Currently we have to go into each event individually and change the access level to restricted or public. It would be much faster if this could be changed as a batch

  14. Pay On The Day (cash) registration along side online payments

    Give the ability to make one ticket a 'Pay xx amount online for registration' but also have the ability to make another ticket in the same event that says 'Pay In Cash' and doesn't bill it to the users account or send an invoice.

    At the moment to do this, ( as some people pay online and some don't) we have to make one of the registrations 'free' but make it clear that they must pay cash on the day. Annoyingly enough it says $0 by the ticket. Even the option to just take away that $0 would be nice.

  17. Category List Gadget for Member Directory

    It would be extremely helpful if a list of business directory categories was a gadget that auto generated.

    I currently have a dropdown menu on the membership sign-up asking them what category a business is. Although I can add the dropdown results above the member directory, it shows all categories in the dropdown, not just the ones with at least 1 member. Also, some members have 2 categories which forced me to do 2 dropdowns that are identical.

    So I wish adding member categories was a default option on the membership form options and that there was a gadget that…

    Hello,

    We are experiencing some difficulty importing lists from lets say,
    Constant Contact to Wild Apricot. We have created "saved searches" and
    there are contacts who belong to several "groups" we have created in WA.

    However, when we are uploading a fresh list to a group from CC to WA, it will upload to that specific group AND wipe out all other groups the constituent belongs too.

    It's not a very intuitive process and I advise WA create a warning sign

  20. Allow me to add fields to the Event Registration form that event organizers populate and use to populate emails to registrants

    We plan events with assigned tables. I would like to be able to add a field to the Event database with the table assignment so that I can send a customized email to each registrant with their table assignment using the Macro feature. This would take the place of a ticket and help guests find their table more quickly.
