Limit on number of events that a guest can attend as a "guest", before applying/ being proposed for membership

Our guest are only allowed to attend two monthly meetings before joining as members; the only problem is, there is no way to track this except manually. I would like either a) a filter to see which guests have attended what events or b) a "punch" card type of restriction where they are no longer able to register for an event after their two visits are used.
