  1. Admin with Read-only access to membership data only

    From clients survey "Allow us to grant read-only access to only the membership data. This would allow certain chairpersons search for current members without being able to edit/change it, and without being able to see anything else, like financials, donations, etc."

  3. At the events page, provide the ability to create a report of registrants and alphabetize by last name.

    Provide the ability to create a report for an event that is alphabetized by last name of registrant, without having to export the report as a csv file and then convert to Excel.

  4. Create a process to write off bad debt

    There presently is no defined way to write off a bad debt. If someone owes money and is no longer a member they can be archived but their bad debt remains in accounts receivable. Our solution to keep A/R in check is to create a tender called Bad Debt and then apply that as a payment. Though that works it falsely inflates payments received reports which treats it like money that came in.   5. Let contacts edit subscription sources

    The subscription pages are a good idea, but once contacts sign up, they can't edit which topics/types of e-blasts they subscribe too. They can only unsubscribe from all manual emails.

    In my organization, we have six monthly newsletters on different topics. In the past, we have used Constant Contact lists to manage this - people can always edit which of our lists they subscribe to. If they are tired of the Foreclosure newsletters but still want the Microenterprise newsletters, they can customize that.   6. Internal Notes box on Event Details Form

    Would it be possible to have an internal notes box on the Event Details form? We often want to store information relating to an Event, such as minimum required numbers, target number of participants or internal deadline dates, but we don't want these to appear on the web.

  7. Add and manage xml sitemap for SEO

    Bing, Yahoo! and Google all recommend a site map be submitted to their crawl services in order that URLs on a website are brought into their crawlers' awareness. Otherwise the bots generally rely on quantity of cross linking from other sites and for many of our members this is very hit or miss — resulting in many member page never making into SERPs.

    We would greatly appreciate some mechanism for adding and managing XML site maps for all, or better yet, specific pages of a WA member site.

    Thanks to Barbara, here is current workaround:
    --
    TO ADD A SITEMAP.XML to a WA SITE:
    Create a new folder under file mangement called sitemap.
    Then upload your site map to this folder.
    Sumbit your site map to Google, it will look something like this yoursite.com/resources/sitemap/sitemap.xml

    A good place for free google sitemaps is:
    xml-sitemaps.com

  8. Custom macros for email blasts

    Currently
    Some organizations have positions like president, vice president, treasurer etc who are used int he signature lines of emails. The holders of these positions might change frequently (annually). This means that someone might have to be responsible to go through all emails and change them so that the name of the new person is used as the signature.

    Proposal
    Give administrators the ability to create custom macros. These would be then be assigned a value as part of configuring the macro. Admin could then define what types of emails these should be available to (Membership, Events, All etc). When…

    As a Wild apricot user, wouldn't you love to customize the dashboard to your own liking? Batchbook from batchblue.com does this very elegently. The user can select from a number of widgets to enable/disable. You can even rearrange widgets by dragging and dropping.

    I strongly suggest looking into Batchbook dashbook design for Wild apricot.

  10. Automatically archive Primary Registrants from the Contacts list after an Event

    When an Event has taken place, there should be a system for Archiving any Contacts who were created from non-Members who signed up for public events. As I understand it, a Contact entry is automatically created, to enable the database to operate.

    I do not find it acceptable that there is no way to automate the Archiving of these contacts. I have been advised to do a manual process of searching for these Contacts, exporting them, manipulating the spreadsheet and re-importing the data.   12. Tags improvement

    Event tags are too easily added by anyone setting up an event (BBQ, cookout, kitchen,etc) Having them pre-setup in preferences, so that event creators (select not add) from a system list would correct this. We currently have over 50 tags and cannot delete them without going back thru previous events and removing errant superfluous tags.

  13. multiple depost accounts with Affinipay and Auto Sorting

    Integrated payment with Affinipay is good, but my organization has multiple bank accounts for separate departments of our organization. Multiple deposit accounts through Wild Apricot Payments would allow us to track our income better.

    With this functionality, choosing what payments go where would be helpful as well. For example, all event payments go to one account while membership renewals go to another

    Hi, I love the new polling feature! Some feedback based on our first use is that it would be nice to be able to reopen a poll after it has been closed and also, it would be nice to be able to extend the date of a poll if voting numbers are trending low. Thanks!

    about Membership Cards
    I live in a retirement community, and most of our members will never log onto the site or get a password. It would be really useful if I could somehow put a link or actually put a personalized membership card on the system-generated email I send to new and renewing members.     Add a managing finances overall the organization...

  19. Copy all details of an event - registration types, emails, etc.

    I'm setting up a form that has three payments, a different payment for non-members, an earlybird discount, late fees, etc., and there's no wy to copy these from one event to another. The whole event has to be cloned! Senseless.

  20. Changing bundle members to nonmember or changing their level

    The Problem: A membership administrator tries to change a bundled membership to non-bundled membership and there are bundled members, the only option is to suspend or archive the bundled members.
    Request: Have the option to assign the bundle member as a non-member (regular contact).

    The same problem have bundle administrators, they can't remove members from bundle or change their membership level / bundle
