Ability To Require Completion of Common Fields on Events
While it is nice to be able to choose which common fields to include on the registration form for each event, there are some events where these fields may need to be required also. Currently the required setting is for the contact fields which makes it system wide. The system should be enhanced to allow override of required setting on event by event basis.

Email a Friend gadget
I've added external code so that people can recommend our website. Our own members are the best promoters to new people and people are more responsive to people suggestions than any other marketing technique.
It works OK, but a better one could be built. The idea is to have a button on the page that says something like recommend to a friend. That would prompt a pop-up with a place to enter and friends email (or perhaps more than one), and a captcha code entry. From then it would generate a form filled out with the emails listed, the users ID, a subject line filled in with configurable information (not just "this website is recommended" which is sure to trigger spam filters), and body of the information also with configurable information including the website name and page (latter as an option perhaps), and a button with send. The subject and body could then be edited to make it more personal. Lastly, clicking on the send button uses the internal mail system to send the email, adding the user name and ID to the message. That would save the user the grief of actually sending the email, which can be a big deal if they are on phone or tablet.

Show event on calendar until end of day
We don’t register for most events – yes the people who post the events want them to remain on line for some period after the start. One person wanted them to remain for about 2 hours in case an event was cancelled so they could note that that occurred – editing them after they are disabled didn’t seem possible. Why I am not sure but that was the ride leader consensus.
We have to account for events for insurance purposes. Also keeping them on line for at least some time after the initial start allowed people who were late to double check the event (again nonsensical but there it is). So how do we increase or can we increase a disable timeout? Can a ride leader with admin privileges indicate when an event had to be cancelled after it is disabled?

Blog Features
It would be VERY helpful to our members if we had a search feature for the blog posts! Additionally, the ability to schedule posts would be nice for the post author.
Also, I've read from earlier threads that Google Feedburner could be utilized by members to subscribe to posts via email. Is that still operational?
Thank you!

Discount for Attending Multiple Events
Hello!
We have departments that would like to offer attendees discounts for registering for multiple events. Can you group the events so that when more than one is chosen, a discount is given? We think this would increase interest and attendance at our sessions.
Thank you!

Year End Donation Letter
Provide a button on the Member's Profile page which allows a member to download/print an annual donation letter. The appearance should be designed by an administrator. The button should indicate the last year for which the data has been generated. Administrator should have a function where after all the financial data has been completed for the previous year, the button is made active for the most recent past year.

Remove Auto Email when Exporting
I would like an option to turn off the automatic email that comes when you download information (like financial transactions, event lists, etc. We make multiple small downloads a day and there is not a need for notification.

Email Forward Option
Within our membership renewal reminder email, we would like to include a link that says "Send to a Colleague" which forwards the email to other non-members. When you click on the link, a new window opens with the ability to enter multiple email addresses and enter a personalized message. The original email and your message is then forwarded to these recipients.

Add automatic links to "Subpages of Parent of Currently Displayed Page" (siblings)
I have a box on each page with links to other pages, and currently the options for automatic links in this box are:
Of course, I can add links manually.
Often, however, I would like to be able to add automatic links to the other child pages of the parent of the currently displayed page (for instance, under "Members Only" parent, I might have a half dozen child pages, and would like to provide automatic links to these pages in my little helpful box).
Can we have an option "Subpages of Parent of Currently Displayed Page"? This would be really nice.
Thank you,
Susan

Requesting SVG image format support
Hey guys,
I'd like to ask that SVG image support be added to the wish list.
In world that requires responsive design, SVG (scalable vector graphic) files give good scalable images that display consistently at any size.

Unique fields
I would like the ability to make a common field a unique field like the e-mail address is currently. As an example, our Association uses a unique State issued ID number as an identifier. We would like to be sure that two people don't enter the same number by accident.

Calendar picker when schedule event emails
When scheduling event emails, we have to provide a number of days before we want the email to go out. It was be more helpful to have a date picker so we don't have to count the number of days when we want to send out the email.

Admin Privileges Report
I know that when editing a single page, that the version history shows who edited the page. However, it will only show who has actually edited the page, not the list of all those who have access to do so. It would be helpful to have an admin report that shows who has access to each page. Otherwise, you have to remember to keep a separate list somewhere of who has been given editing privileges. Adding new people is easy, but remembering to remove the ones that need to be removed is much harder :)
I can easily see how this report would be helpful for the other areas as well (e.g. event editors, membership management, etc.)
Thanks.

Section Divider - allow "Use In" setting to restrict where it appears
We have several different member types - e.g., Candidates who submit to be published, and Subscribers of various types (electronic, print), with future disparate types to be added. The groups will have fairly different applications and fields, and thus different Section Dividers.
I'd like to be able to specify when a Section Divider appears on an Application -- by Member type so that it never appears on an application for the wrong group. (Just like you can for other Membership Fields.)
With just two main types of applications so far, I have been able to avoid this by shuffling the order of field sections in the Membership Fields screen, but I expect I will hit a point where this is not possible with more types of constituents.

File Management Structure
When I look at File Management, such as clicking on "File" to view the contents, there are menu options that allow me to look at items as a list, and as several sizes of the items, allowing me to the options to see the filename or look at the item.
However, when I am on a page and want to insert a picture, etc. from "File", all the items appear as only a list. There is no option to view the items as such in order to select the correct item to insert into the document.
Please, in the "insert picture" or "insert document" please include the menu selection to view the list or to view the item. Just include the same functionality you already have. Thank you.

Allow admin to record membership recurring payment starting from next renewal period
This may be specific to auth.net which we use. If one wishes to start recurring payments the apricot/auth.net process requires the initial payment to be made at the time the recurring payments are launched. We have run across multiple instances where we wish to start recurring payments at some point in the future but not credit the member's cards now. For instance we just had a case where someone had recently paid to join via check but for future payments wished to pay by credit card; Our alternatives are for the member or ourselves to remember to set up recurring payments at the renewal date (which means either we or the member need to remember and if we do it then we have to hold onto their credit card info - a potential security breach waiting to happen) or to launch the recurring payment process now and then refund or cancel the now duplicated payment. Neither present option makes much sense.

Ability to add new lists to database
We would like to be able to add new lists to the database, in particular to manage our library and our newsletters. Being able to create a table of relevant fields, including the ability to add records to a table of related events, and tie each record back to the member list would be very helpful. For the library, a list of books tied to a list of checkouts/returns, for the newsletters a list of available newsletters with a count of download attempts. I'm sure there are other equally useful options for new lists for other users, the point being that the ability to add a new list should be open such that the user can create and manage a new list for their own internal needs, not being preconceived for any particular or limited purpose. This would entail the addition of a generic gadget to access fields and add/edit/delete records from a web page.
