  1. Additional fields for posting events

    Like the requestors in http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8827369-additional-fields-for-posting-events , we have a bicycle club and are considering using wild apricot software. Our bike club (as do many others) list our rides with distance, speed, terrain and ride leader and leader phone number as standard fields. This lets potential riders decide whether an event is appropriate for them.Since we plan to allow individual ride leaders to post events, having additional fields will help them make sure all the necessary information is input.

  2. Ability to Report Membership Income by Membership Year

    Our finacial reports require disclosure of dues paid for future membership years based on membership expiration (e.g., renewal) date. Many of our members pay dues for several years into the future. It would be great if there were an option on the income report to show either the summary totals by membership year or optionally list the detail along with the total.

    Is there a way to allow donors to give a gift in someone else's name? And, is there a way to automatically notify the person who the donations was made on behalf?

  4. Show Refunds with the Event

    Currently, if you click on Finances, then Payments and Refunds, you can see refunds issued for a cancelled event registration (i.e., through PayPal). But, there is a also Payment and Refunds tab under the Financials of the actual event, which shows nothing (please see attached image). This is very confusing. Shouldn't my Refunds also show under the actual event? (Click Events, select event, click Financials, click Payments and Refunds tab?)

    WA says they don't appear because, once you cancel the Registration, it deletes the invoice, so it has no data to find and show. WELL..... what if you didn't delete…

  5. Managing Rejected Applicantions

    My organization has certain criteria for membership. We are rejecting applicants that do not qualify. I would love to be able to:
    * Setup automated rejection emails. The system currently does not support this, which means, for every applicant I reject, I need to manually send the rejection email.

    • Track rejected applications. It would be great if this is available on the dashboard and using Advanced Searched. I would like to be able to monitor the number of applicants from month to month, and how many of those turn into members and how many get rejected.

  6. Ability for department managers to register multiple members and pay for them in one transaction.

    I would like to see added the ability for department managers or administrators to register multiple members and pay for all of them in one transaction. It may be possible to add this feature to the group bundle administrator settings. Currently, the group bundle admin can add as many new members as the association allows for one price. Maybe instead of one price, the system would mulitply the number of members added and charge the admin accordingly. Any other admins out there looking for this kind of functionality?

  7. Print Member List

    I need to have a hard copy of all of our members to keep onsite at the club for check-in. Our format is one printed page per member to allow for handwritten notes, record guests, etc. Is there a way to print the member list, or suggestions for how to export the info?

  8. Control size and number of pictures members can add to their photo albums

    We allow our members to upload photos into a photo album shown with their Profile. Our level allows each image to be up to 25MB and that is way too big for viewing satisfactorily and will also use up our maximum allowed MB in no time. We also have no way to limit the number of images in an album. The automatic features of limiting how many albums there are is nice as is the automatic thumbnail feature with a click to show the full image.   9. Export of information presented on dashboard

    The main and membership Dashboards both provide do a good job of summarizing data in the system and as such provide a valuable reporting tool.

    However, the essence of a report is the ability to share it with others and there is no mechanism to do this. At present these reports are on the screen only and short of taking a screen snap there is no way to pass them around.

    I would find it very valuable if there were an "Export" button which allowed us to receive a download of the dashboard in Excel (CSV??) format. This would allow…

  10. Members to be able to manage an event

    NOTE: There is already a thread http://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8825554-members-to-be-able-to-submit-events-3764 about allowing members to submit their own events. This thread is expands upon that by requesting to also give members the ability to manage those event.

    My organization is focused on triathlons and members are the main driver of training events. One of the primary functions of the organization's website is to allow members to post and manage their own events. They don't need approval though we do keep an eye out for abuse.

    The type of functionality a member would need to manage an event would be basic CRUD of the event…

  11. Pre-warning to admin before renewals go out

    It would be nice if admin received notification, before renewals are auto-sent out. A day or two warning would be enough, just to be able to look over the email that is sent, review pricing, etc. That way, you can still utilize the auto-send features that WA uses for renewals, but it also gives you a moment to review things before they are sent.

  12. Integrated Spell Checker should be included in service

    For a paid service that is used to communicate with members, the ability to spell check email notices should be considered a basic capability of the WA service. I should not require customers to use a third-party add-on for their browser.

    Spelling errors in communications can damage an organization's credibility and Wild Apricot should consider this a basic feature that helps its customers. In 2024, this should not be an optional feature.

    Allow reminders to be sent only to confirmed registrants who have paid. When people register but don't pay, they should not be considered registrants.

  14. Agreement before payment to renew membership

    Every year between January 1st and March 31st is the time for membership renewal. This current website doesn't have something to ask members before their payment to make sure members agree to adhere... It must be done once every year. It is really important for my association and communities out there. Is it possible to add something under Members > Levels > Renewal policy? This way we can choose specific groups that are required to click on it with a link to agree BEFORE their payment. The link will bring them to read the agreement on a separate page. When…

  15. Guest Registration Email Address

    When guests are added to a registration, they are NOT currently required to have an email address. I understand that this is because the person doing the registration may not know the email addresses of their guests. (Well, they SHOULD!) This creates a problem--if you have chosen to add guests to your contacts, then you are stuck with useless contacts that count against your contact limit. SUGGESTION: If I choose to "ADD GUESTS TO CONTACTS" then the system should REQUIRE email addresses for guests. If I don't choose to "ADD GUESTS TO CONTACTS" then the system should NOT REQURE email…

  16. ADA Compliance

    Wild Apricot websites will be needing ways to make their websites ADA compliant in order to avoid possible lawsuits. This would include, but not be limited to ways to add alt= text to slideshows (you can currently add alt text to individual photos, and you need to use the html on a content gadget to add alt= text to the decorative lines) to comply with ARIA, option to text resize, adjust color to comply with contrast rules, way to provide an audio transcript. This will be a start.

  17. Attach membership invoice to bundle members

    When a bundle administrator changes the renewal invoice goes with the original person. It would be best if invoices could be associated with the bundle and not the individual.

  18. event waivers

    In this new age we'd really appreciate a way to incorporate an editable waiver (such as a Covid-19 safety waiver) to event registration. It would reduce the need for sharing of pens and reduce social interaction at volunteer events.

  19. Hide out of stock items

    There should be a configurable option to hide items that are out-of-stock from the store. Have a configuration item either at the store widget level or at the product level to "hide items with 0 inventory". This would apply to 1-of-a-kind items or limited issue items. As it is, an admin has to go in an remove those items when the inventory hits 0.

  20. Set reply to email as different from Organization Contact in Store
