Updating document with same name during upload process
When uploading new images/documents to wild apricot, if the document of the same name is already in the system, it does not update to the new versions document. It does not give a choice to 'update version', but rather, sticks with the old. This requires the administrator to go back in, change the name of the document needed upload. A big pain! Please provide another option in this process to make this less painful!

Please fix Membership expiration failures and templates
Membership renewal is kind of a mess...
I updated our organization to extend all memberships by two weeks. I did this by modifying the membership levels at all levels, to give them an additional two weeks of membership time.
This has caused an apparent cascade of bugs in Wild Apricot software:When I updated the templates to reflect new dates and prices, and chose to apply the template to all levels (and typed 'UPDATE'), it did not do what it was supposed to do. Subsequent emails fired with the old dates and old prices.

Log In Options on Mobile Version of the Website
Have the log in button appear once on mobile view of the website instead of twice. Right now it appears twice, once in the log in gadget and once in the mobile panel.

Additional field in member profile "my events" to put links to webniar recordings
Our organisation runs many paid webinars for our members that are recorded and available to view for a number of months after the live event.
In a members profile there is a tab that shows all the events they have registered for (under My Events). We would like to be able to add the link to view the recording and download handouts to this page so members who paid can easily find the link months later. QR code
It would be great f we could have attendees self check in at an event using a QR code. Ie we hold monthly club meetings and rather than an admin sitting at the door scanning individual QR codes on free tickets, if there was an event QR code printed and attendees scanned this to check in and the app then generates a list of attendees. Currently people register on the app and then manually fill in an attendance sheet of paper.

Membership Reporting
Adding Membership Report functionality is a great upgrade to the software. Please keep in mind this first version is rather useless for an organization like ours with annual membership plans. The way the revenue is calculated doesn't provide any good information. I would suggest keeping the membership revenue report separate from the member numbers. Create monthly membership revenue reporting based on payments.

While there is the ability to restrict who has access to a file, it would also be helpful to be able to disable or restrict the ability to download things.

Photo Album Caption Spreadsheet of image jpgs plus captions
- Provide a way to transfer captions from a spreadsheet to the captions in an album in bulk.
- (vice versa). Not sure if this is a new idea or if it's listed as a different item. We would like a tool or a command that would copy all the caption information and the jpg (or the URL for the jpeg) from an album to a spreadsheet. We are often provided with a spreadsheet of caption fields that need to be transferred to our albums.

API: Get List of All Event Registrations for All Events
We want to move all event registrations and related payments online, but we are in need of an API to allow us to download all new event registrations for all events. Ideally, this would include a filter to retrieve only new registrants since <Date>.
Currently, the only way that I can see to do this is to cycle through each event, and pull the registrants for each event. However, that is rather time consuming, and uses excessive bandwidth and server time. I also run into the "30 requests per minute" limit when doing this. Can this limit be extended for…

CRM
I am working with a nonprofit company that uses Wild Apricot and are now wanting to import that data into a true CRM. I am familiar with salesforce & Microsoft but reading blogs and forums I get the feeling that there are no CRM out there that are compatible with Wild Apricot?

Support for <details> element in Content gadget
When I use the <details> element in a Content gadget, the <summary> tag is discarded and the word "Details" is display. See screenshot. (Yes, I had to edit the HTML in the Content gadget.)
If I use the custom HTML gadget, the <details> and <summary> elements are displayed as expected.
Here's a sample block of code:

Allow membership renewals from social media and chat
When you think about maintaining good membership numbers, renewals are the most important thing, more important even that new membership. Therefore, renewals have to be REALLY easy! In today's world, people are spending more time in social media and chat than they are in email. Therefore, simple renewals via those platforms would be a logical improvement to the process.

Ability to modify text on Membership level change System page
The text in the yellow box on the Membership level change page is confusing to our members. We'd like to be able to clarify what the membership renewal dates affects their participation in our organization. I can add a content block below the renewal gadget, but it would be better to be able to change the text within the gadget.

Improve the capabilities of the sales module to allow the organization to conduct and manage sales. Currently our organization goes to a 3rd parts sales software to meet our needs. Especially now that the price is going up, this is one of the modules that needs a major upgrade.

latest registration for contact
Apparently this information (more likely a foreign key) is held somewhere in the contact record, since it's manifest in the Contacts UI, but it's not exposed by the Contacts API. I can retrieve it using the EventRegistrations API with the ContactId and throwing away all but the first record returned, but this takes a lot of wallclock time (suggesting that the server is working pretty hard to collect it).
No new API is needed, but the Contacts API could just include the most recent EventRegistration ID so one could navigate to it, or through it to the Event record as…1 vote -
Add a Hide/Show Gadget Setting in Email Editor
It would be very useful to be able to toggle a gadget on/off or hide/show for mobile and desktop views within the email editor. Other email editors have this feature (e.g. Stripo, TOPOL, Chamaileon) and it is extremely useful for making email templates that look professional in both desktop and mobile views.

Need daylight saving time support
When specifying the time for an event, there is no proper way to specify a time during daylight saving time. For example, our June event will be at 10:00, EDT, which is UTC-04:00, so I have to choose between either "Eastern UTC-05:00" or "Atlantic UTC-04:00", either of which are only half correct. Not sure which is more important, that I get the Eastern part correct or I get the UTC-04:00 correct.
