Lock public visitors from changing search gadget scope
I added a search gadget to one of the templates and I limited the default search to specific content types (page contents only). I saved and checked the page using it as a user and I entered a search string. The results came up but right under the search box, there is a drop down list that allows the user to select the content types that as an Admin I had deselected.
That does not make sense to me, because if I select only one content type because that is all I want to be shown in a search, why…

Product is not visible in the catalog but available for selling
I would like to be able to have products that are not visible via an Online Store but that I could send a direct link to the customer for checkout. Is there any way to do this?

event count
1) Tag guests as GUESTS for event reg type. Event total count (dashboard view) curerntly displays attendee + guest total. When you click on the detail for each type, you see the # attendees + # guests. But when you export, guests show as "ticket type" of the main attendee, so you can't easily find them. Default this to a GUEST ticket type in the system so they are tagged and filterable.
2) Event Report $ - show unpaid registrations separately so they are not included in the total count until they are PAID.1 vote -
Event Tags on Webversion
It was recently brought to my attention by a member that on the website calendar for a date with 2 events only one was showing. I did some trouble shooting and had to check the year tag 2023/2024 and only then did the second event show on the calendar. That behaviour did not seem right as all other events on the calendar were showing up fine without the year tag being checked. WA Support told me I needed to check all the tags for the event to have it show. I checked one of the other tags beside the year…

Allow for updating Opt-In Status via API or Make.com
Please allow us to update a contact's email Opt-In Status via the API. As a workaround to limitations of Wild Apricot's email subscriptions feature, some of us use third-party forms to collect subscribe requests, and we need a way to mark these new subscribers as opted-in.

New email editor should support font awesome
Pasting a font awesome icon into the new email editor Text Gadget doesn't work. The UI says it is using the font awesome font, but the icon displays as a solid box. This looks like a bug to me (else why would the UI recognize the font), but WA support asked me to log it as an enhancement, so here it is. (WA support confirmed it didn't work for them either, so not a local browser issue)

Make integration of WildApricot with other applications
I have been using Make to integrate WildApricot with other applications. Eg, auto generation and emailng of registrant lists to organisers of all upcoming events.
I would like to communciate with others who have experience with Make.
Eg, I am trying to upload files from a WA Attachment Field to say GoogleDrive. Of course, I can do this manually but automatically would be very desirable for us.1 vote -
Modified check in procedure
We regularly check in 150-175 members at monthly events, all in about 15 minutes. I can check someone in with a single click, but if I also want to clear his/her invoice (still open if he is a cash or check payor), I need to go through a much longer process. Could we have a global setting that caused an event invoice to be cleared automatically when checked in for that event?

Bulk clearing of invoices
An event with 150 attendees might, in our case, result in 50 payments in advance by credit card and 100 payments on event day by check or cash. Marking an invoice paid requires three screens, three clicks, so that means 300 screens to clear all the invoices from a single event (we have at least one event per month).
You give us an export function to export invoices; what would be handy is a similar import function so we could edit the XLS file and then import it back to clear the invoices.1 vote -
Insert link in photo caption
Currently, there is no capability for inserting links into photo captions. Can you at least enable HTML snippet insert into photo captions so that we can do it ourselves?

Confusing UI Elements .. White on White etc.
My user community is consistently confused by certain non-standard UI choices
-- white on white Action buttons that don't stand out ... btn-outline-primary btn-sm would be much easier to spot with say a light blue background
-- Note that sometimes you do color buttons to make them clearer ... e.g. Apply on search terms
-- it says Public View in Admin View. I realize it is a menu choice but my users see it as a title since is it separated from the menu bar. It would be much clearer if the top left explicitly said Admin View

Custom email preview text
Custom email preview text. The email preview in notifications and inboxes under the heading is customizable in other email marketing services. In Wild Apricot, it just selects the first lines of text out of the email. Being able to select this text manually would make for more personable and function emailing.

automate publishing of poll
We would like to automate the publishing of our poll. Once the poll is completed at midnight on that certain date, we would like results to automatically be emailed out to all members. In addition, it would be helpful to have the option to automate the email to be automatically released to members on the day the poll opens.

WA Database font size and color - Go bigger + Go Darker
WA Database font size and color. Go bigger and Darker PLEASE!!!!! It would be amazing to adjust font size and color in the database. As I work in my member database, I save my searches. Sometimes I need to print it and no one can see it or read it. Please make it an option to adjust viewable database font color & size available. I cannot export everything from WA to have another application do the job. Super helpful if these options existed within WA database.

Ability to set Default value for Date fields
Preset the date fields in event registration to a specific year/month. I plan events that are a year in the future. Members scroll through 12 months (hopefully or they enter the dates are for this year) to get to the correct month/year to enter their specific arrival date. They do it again to select their specific departure date. If I could preset those calendars for a future month date I could eliminate a lot of incorrect entries.
Especially cool would be if I could use the difference between arrival and departure dates to calculate a bill. e.g. arrive on 9/10/2024…

Add "check all" for Events-> Emails tab->Registration Emails
After importing 50 or so events at a time for our hiking club from a Google Spreadsheet using Make, I have to check 12 check boxes for each event (600+ clicks). It would be wonderful to have a "Check All" option which would reduce it to 50 clicks.

Please create more link styles. Instead of the standard rectangle, or rectangular outline, could we see more curved link buttons? Thanks!

new membership level not showing up in new web page menu
Hi, I just created some new membership levels, and they appear on the sign-up page. But they do not appear in the menu on the left on a new web page when I'm editing the new web page. So I can't connect that new web page with the new membership levels. How do I get the new membership levels that I just created to show up in the menus on the left when I'm editing a new web page, so I can associate that new web page with the new membership levels? I've attached a screenshot of the new membership…
