  1. Avoiding empty links to "View Details"

    Our public membership directory has a whole series of entries with worthless and empty "View Details" links. They result from members who indicate that they are willing to make their directory information "public" but then don't make their names or any other information actually viewable by "anyone." In other words, the contact indicates "yes" to the entry asking about inclusion in the Member Directory.   2. Autoincrement option on the numeric field (e.g. for bib numbers)

    Another vote for a numeric field option. I would really like to have an autoincrement option on the numeric field, with configurable start/seed value. It should be available as a contact or event field. A nice-to-have would be a range of excluded numbers.The field should be available for macro insertion in event emails.

    Our application for this would be to generate bib numbers. We have a few large events per year that would benefit greatly from such a feature.

  3. Notes Section in Page Management

    Wouldn't it be great if there was a multi-line notes section in each Page management menu area so admins could make important notes to themselves about each specific page?

  4. Private Calendar that Members can link with their icalendars

    Currently this is not possible for a private calendar due to password protection. However I know other software gets around this so only members can subscribe to a calendar. Is it possible this could come to Wild Apricot?

  5. Include "no entry" participant detail on Registration Fields report

    Currently this report does not provide participant names for those without data entered in the field(s) requested when you generate the report.

    This would be helpful, since now the event manager has to go back to figure out which registrant is missing the data. We use this field frequently to ask for roommate preferences on trips --- often people don't have one at registration time, so it is left blank.

    I know we can force an entry by making the field mandatory to make them say something there, (or export to Excel) but it would be much simpler if the…

  6. Gift Aid

    Gift Aid is a big deal for UK charities.

    Generally, the way it works is that when a charity asks for a donation, they also ask the donor to tick a box to enable the charity to reclaim an additional tax element from the tax authority (if the donor is a UK tax payer).

    Combined with a date field (which Wild Apricot doesn't yet provide!), we administrators could create a report/search query to pre-fill the relevant form to submit to the tax authority for the reclaim.

  7. Improving manual event registration to avoid errors

    With the introduction of the the new screen for Administrators to add people to their events, many are adding existing members as new contacts. I have had four of five examples of this. The reason I believe is that they do not notice the 'Select existing contact' button and go straight to the blank attendee registration form. We hardly ever add new contacts, so the set up for us is wrong.

    My suggestion is that the screen be redesigned to make the Select existing contact more prominent. Ideally, in my opinion, there should be two buttons: the first, labelled Select…

  8. Functionality for whitepaper registration

    We would like to offer free whitepaper downloads, if people will provide us their information. I would like to be able to create something like event registration except use to it provide access to a specific page(s) on our website. This page would have a whitepaper or other content for download.

  9. Allow Editing Name of and Add Description Space to Event, Individual Sessions

    We are a hiking club that offers 4 hikes a day (by ability level), 2 days a week. Currently we use a TeamUp Calendar to post hike descriptions and pre-sign up hikers and have embedded it on our homepage. But TeamUp doesn't provide a unique ID for each user or allow Admin to store Wild Apricot IDs so there's no data interface.
    If we could edit each Event Session Name and add a description to each, we could set up a series of group hikes by day.

  10. Repeating Event "permanent" registration

    For some repeating events, such as internal meetings, it would be helpful to be able to designate a list of permanently registered users, who will receive event reminders prior to each event. The list of recurring registrations should be modifiable at any point so future event notices go to the current list of registrants.

  11. Repeating events and event search by date

    When using the admin Event List page to search events by date, repeating events only show up in the first month they were scheduled unless a text filter is also applied. If the event title doesn't have a unique string on which to filter, then to find the event one must know when it was originally scheduled, which could be months or even years in the past.

  12. Allow simple HTML in event titles

    Please allow simple HTML tags in event titles, in particular, tags for italicizing text (<i>...</i>). Many of our events include the name of a movie, play, book, etc., and it would be best to italicize these names within the event title. If this suggestion is implemented, be sure to consider all of the contexts in which an event title may appear. For example, if an event title is "<i>Wicked</i> at Regal Cinema", then we don't want the PAGE title to be "<title><i>Wicked</i> at Regal Cinema</title>", as the <i>...</i> tags will be displayed as is in the browser's title field.     Would like to see a way for a person who is moved from waitlist to registration a way to acknowledge receipt of the registration. Maybe a response button in the email, Yes I am coming or No I can no longer attend. We have seen waitlisted people become no shows.

  17. Ability to View Member's Only Pages

    As an Admin with full privileges, I am not able to view the member's only pages that I create myself because I am not a paid member via the definition given by Wild Apricot. If I build a member's only page and attempt to view it, it returns a 403 error.

    Please add a category to your backend that automatically allows the person who has authorization to build the page to actually view the page as they build it.

  18. Membership directory to show status of member

    Unless I am missing something, and please correct me, I cannot edit our Directory of membership to display their membership status as generated by the system? As a membership and Certification Org, we provide a public listing of our various members where their account status of ACTIVE, PAST DUE, SUSPENDED, ETC. are a desired public disclosure. We have use our own work around by establishing our own field, BUT this is now a manually managed field that requires admin intervention. Would prefer an automated process based on other status triggers.

  19. email template side margins too wide

    Email template with a graphic at top shows up well on mobile devices; however, flawed on desktop/laptop. It shows up with a very narrow content field and super wide, empty margins on the right and left (even though I selected the "one column" option). I tried adjusting settings and chatting with support--they said there is no immediate fix for this issue. Can you please adjust the template to eliminate the wasted space in the margins to allow improved readability?
