  1. Theme the Events widget buttons properly

    Event calendar and Upcoming Events Register buttons do not honor theming.

    We have one member who is both dyslexic and color vision impaired. To accommodate his impairment, we have increased contrast where we can by proper theming of typefaces and backgrounds. One place where we cannot do that is in the two events widgets. Apparently, they don't use the theme button types.

  2. An editable Admin "Scratch Pad" for temporary and ongoing notes and crib sheets

    At the top of my own wish list -- certainly in the top three -- is the need for user guidance. Wild Apricot's help pages are mostly well done and cover it all, but that's their problem. They're generic and so much to read that nobody ever will.

    We need our own editable help screens or pop-ups, or something.

    But for now, let's pull my wish back, a lot -- it would be invaluable just to have a place where we could store and update cribsheets for various Admin chores.

  3. Auto-Tabulation of Survey or a Special Survey Program

    Is there a way to send a survey to our membership and then have the results automatically tabulated by the responses made, such as the number of Yes and No, etc responses? I know we can "email blast the question(s), but the responses would need to be manually tabulated. For 1100+ members that could be a great task.

  4. Starting page for members - do not redirect to invoices

    Hello,
    I understand the designed behavior for login is to consider if the member has any open invoices and, if so, redirect to /Sys/Profile/Finances (as documented at https://gethelp.wildapricot.com/en/articles/190 ).

    This approach to onboarding new members goes against the spirit of our organization. To explain, our members are school district employees - often several people from the same district - and tend to be consistent year-to-year. Their fees are paid by their employers (by check) once we send them an invoice, but in the mean-time, they should be permitted to freely browse the members-only portion of the website without the redirect.

    When I send out an invoice it actually gets sent rather than the page not loading and me having to retype out my email and send it.

  6. Recipe: Slideshow Gadget: Display title banner with each slide

    Using the Slideshow gadget with the link for images functionality in place it is possible to display a description for each slide.

    I wanted to display a second bit of text, a floating title (big text) on each of the slides using the "Tooltip" attribute of the link.

    To do so, I use a global JS to add a .camera-title div as the first child of each .camera_link element on screen. The div.camera-title can then be styled.

  8. email log and correctly counting links clicked

    How the Log is created for clicked embedded links counts the number of links clicked rather than the number of people that click on a link in the email. This occurs when multiple links are included in an email. I would much rather see how many people were engaged to click rather than the number of links clicked. A simple example: email has 3 embedded links and is sent to 6 people. If 2 people clicked all 3 links, it will show 6 links clicked rather than only 2/6 people were engaged to click on the links.   9. Events Setup. Chair, Registration Types, Types for Guests, additional info editting

    Events:
    1. For some reason while I am analyzing the database, do searches based on group designations, the members are not coming up in last name order ….. even though the default at the top says last name sort.
    2. It would be nice to have an 'Event Chair' field to enter the Chair Name to insert in the automatic emails as a Macro, instead of having to manually change the emails every time. This applies to new and renewal application emails too - 'Membership Chair'

  10. Indicate use of custom member renewal reminder email

    An indicator of the existence of a custom member renewal reminder email in the Membership Level Details > Renewal policy tab > Renewal reminders and actions section. See mockup.

  11. I wish that database fields could be made "required" but only for certain membership types.

    For example, we have a field named "Company Name" and I would like to make that a "required" field for members applying for one of our 'company' membership levels. However, we don't want it to also be "required" on our "student" or "individual" membership levels.

  13. Retain current subscribers who are otherwise going to leave WA.

    Creat a 'lite' WA version for not-for-profit membership Clubs and thereby retain their custom albeit at a reduced margin. Better than nothing.

  15. Routing of emails for Event Leader(s)

    Two ways to do what we'd like to see. (1) Allow for more than one Event Leader email address, or (2) Make the Custom recipient email(s) specific to an event versus across the entire site for an organization. Our club has a number of "events" and we need to have a Co-Trip Leader or Assistant Trip Leader receive all of the emails the Event Leader receives directly versus having the Event Leader forward them to his/her co-lead/Assistant.

  16. generate a report on member attendance at events

    Issue discounts on Membership Subscription Annual Fee based on event attendance.

    We would like to offer our members discounts for attending our events (value of the discount changes per event attended i.e. Annual Conference discount would be higher than a one day forum).
    We would like to assign the discount to the event, so when the Annual Member Subscription invoice is generated, it automatically deducts that from the fee.

  18. Include option for site pages on App menu

    Idea for App - Please set up support for one or two pages to be displayed with links out of the menu. They can either pull the page content directly in to the app or simply provide a browser link to the page. This would allow us to include a Member Benefits section on our app.

  19. Member app. Ability to change the sort criteria for a member directory

    Add an ability to sort our member director by a different contact field. We have a number of members who are organizations (not individuals) and I would like those to be sorted by the company name rather the primary point of contacts last name.

  20. Member App Home Page

    Design a more attractive and functional opening page for the Member App. Not every organization has or takes great photos of members—or even any photo at all. Nor is this page highly actionable. I would prefer to see an attractive menu w/organization logo if possible.
