Navigation Bar is uneditable
We use the recommended template for our website by Wild Apricot. Every feature on every page is customizable except for the navigation bar. This is absurd. Its off brand and unfortunately the navigation bar is a prominent feature and totally off brand. Disappointing call with "tech support" who told me that she couldn't help me with any aspect of making this adjustment.

Registration email settings - More granularity
We would like to have ability to set various registration emails to off/on and to copy various people depending on the message. We currently forward emails that we receive.
Example of how our work flow works:
The registration confirmed message requires no action. No need to email to anyone but the attendee. We can easily see who has registered when we look at the event.
Registration pending takes some follow-up. Be able to send this to the person responsible for this task.
Registration cancellation. We refund credit card so having this go to the treasurer would be helpful.
We currently…

archived group members
We would like to see any 'group member' that has been archived (shown in grey) so we can ask that member to return to the group.
For instance, high school graduates from 2015. John Doe has not renewed his membership and was archived. His name would currently drop off the '2015 graduates' group list and not be shown. It would be much easier to relocate the missing members if we knew where they belonged and that they were in archives. This is similar to how a bundled member shows up if they've been archived (grey in color).2 votes -

A method to check if new members are also members of a associated club
Our hiking club, Green Valley Recreation Hiking Club is a DBA of a larger non-profit, Green Valley Recreation. Members must first belong to the GVR before they can join our hiking club. It would be nice to have GVR's database of members' numbers and the capability of comparing your member list to the GVR database list to ensure they are a member before allowing them to join the hiking club. Any ideas?

Distribution List for mass email
I would like to have a feature where I can have a email distribution list that I can use to send emails to the group. Currently only ADMIN user can create a search list and send email to the group. But I do not want to give Admin function to this person. Someone I designate as a user should be able to send mass email to the distribution list created from the members list. Please include this very important helpful feature. Thanks, Ashwin Bodalia

notes to customers per product and multiple membership options
It would be great if you could create customized emails per products created in the store section that people purchase so people have more specific details of items, or possibly note per item to customers that can go on a receipt for products that are emailed to customers.
Another upgrade would be memberships that can be purchased as "checkbox" options vs. radio buttons so that people could enroll in different membership levels under one email. They select which memberships they want then they are tallied and payments made.
thanks

Theme the Events widget buttons properly
Event calendar and Upcoming Events Register buttons do not honor theming.
We have one member who is both dyslexic and color vision impaired. To accommodate his impairment, we have increased contrast where we can by proper theming of typefaces and backgrounds. One place where we cannot do that is in the two events widgets. Apparently, they don't use the theme button types.

An editable Admin "Scratch Pad" for temporary and ongoing notes and crib sheets
At the top of my own wish list -- certainly in the top three -- is the need for user guidance. Wild Apricot's help pages are mostly well done and cover it all, but that's their problem. They're generic and so much to read that nobody ever will.
We need our own editable help screens or pop-ups, or something.
But for now, let's pull my wish back, a lot -- it would be invaluable just to have a place where we could store and update cribsheets for various Admin chores.
Currently we sorely need this for Advanced Searches. We have…

Auto-Tabulation of Survey or a Special Survey Program
Is there a way to send a survey to our membership and then have the results automatically tabulated by the responses made, such as the number of Yes and No, etc responses? I know we can "email blast the question(s), but the responses would need to be manually tabulated. For 1100+ members that could be a great task.

Starting page for members - do not redirect to invoices
Hello,
I understand the designed behavior for login is to consider if the member has any open invoices and, if so, redirect to /Sys/Profile/Finances (as documented at https://gethelp.wildapricot.com/en/articles/190 ).This approach to onboarding new members goes against the spirit of our organization. To explain, our members are school district employees - often several people from the same district - and tend to be consistent year-to-year. Their fees are paid by their employers (by check) once we send them an invoice, but in the mean-time, they should be permitted to freely browse the members-only portion of the website without the redirect.

Simplify sending out invoices
When I send out an invoice it actually gets sent rather than the page not loading and me having to retype out my email and send it.

Recipe: Slideshow Gadget: Display title banner with each slide
Using the Slideshow gadget with the link for images functionality in place it is possible to display a description for each slide.
I wanted to display a second bit of text, a floating title (big text) on each of the slides using the "Tooltip" attribute of the link.
To do so, I use a global JS to add a .camera-title div as the first child of each .camera_link element on screen. The div.camera-title can then be styled.
Snippets included below for you to fiddle with:
<<<<<<<<
//global JS<script type="text/javascript">
jq$(function(){//Make carousel titles visible
$('a.camera_link').each(function(idx, elt){

Donation report showing payment system fees
While the system allows you to add in how you receive donations; cash - check - PayPal, when you go to run a report, the system does not take into account PayPal fees. Would be extremely beneficial to have those fees taken out when run report.
This is the same when hold an event & people with PayPal, run a report & have the fees taken out.

email log and correctly counting links clicked
How the Log is created for clicked embedded links counts the number of links clicked rather than the number of people that click on a link in the email. This occurs when multiple links are included in an email. I would much rather see how many people were engaged to click rather than the number of links clicked. A simple example: email has 3 embedded links and is sent to 6 people. If 2 people clicked all 3 links, it will show 6 links clicked rather than only 2/6 people were engaged to click on the links. A big difference.…
