Member to Member Feedback
Our members will be interacting with each other. It would be great if they could rate the experience much like ebay does between seller and buyer with cumulative scores and short comments. Any chance of this happening? We could write such a feature and others into a separate program, but we are unsure if we could interact with WA software. In theory we could with Javascript, but we have been advised of the posibility being remote. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Office 365 Integration
Hi,
Are there others using Office 365 and Wild Apricot that could advise me on best setup for TXT records and the like?
Is it possible for O365 and WA to operate together without issue?
Thanks in advance

Mobile friendly event registration on a web site
For us, our main priority is to enable event registrations in a mobile-friendly view. A close second would be a mobile-friendly event calendar. We are fans of mobile web apps over native mobile apps. We host many events that are dependent on weather conditions, so there are a lot of last-minute registrations.

Redirect HTTPS to HTTP for Payments Only SSL setting
For sites that use the "Payments Only" setting for SSL and a custom domain, WA still allows users to access the non-payment pages using HTTPS. That seems convienient, but there are side effects to allowing HTTPS access to an HTTP page. First, if a user does try to access a non-payment page with HTTPS, they will get a browser certificate mis-match warning. As you know, the warning that modern browsers display can be quite scary to the average user. I think you will find this issue to be more common than you think, such as a new site where the…

Change Balance amount field into actual searchable amount
It would be VERY helpful if the "Balance amount" field were a Count type, allowing for search operators "Great than or equal", "Less than or equal", "Equal to" and "Not equal to".
I want to be able to select certain membership records based on the balance amount, and use that search as basis for email.

Function to duplicate fields
This is a prime example see attached image. The primary registrant has the option to choose from these options. I want to be able to dupe the field and call it "additional registrant 1 fees", "additional registrant 2 fees", "additional registrant 3 fees" and so on. Because the additional registrant would have the ability to choose a different option other than "primary, add 1, add 2, or add 3". The list attached is long and spending the time to rekey this list for 4 additional registrants takes a long time (hind-sight drop-down). So by duping and renaming any of the…

CC list for system emails.
When sending out automated emails WA doesn't include a cc list in either the email header or the email body. For newer clubs or clubs that distribute administrative functions widely among volunteers, this means that when an email goes out, the (indirect) recipients don't necessarily know who else is seeing the email. And that means unnecessary FYI emails get sent after the fact.
Would it be easy to add a cc list to the bottom of the system generated emails that lists the adminstrative recipients? (by name rather than by email) Perhaps this should be an option, as some clubs…

Import Program Should Not Include Hidden "Notes" Field
There is a field called Notes that is an internal use field. This field is "hidden" in the sense that is does NOT show up in the Contacts or Members fields lists.
This causes confusion because upon import, the import program will attempt to match an imported field name of Notes to this internal use field called Notes. This causes confusion because the admin doing the import will not remember creating a Notes field (because they didn't) and won't see it in the Fields lists (because it isn't there).
I would HIGHLY recommend you either add this field to the…

Event receipts invoice - event registrations without the address fields.
Event receipts
Receipts can only be set up to include members addresses. Most of our paid registrations are non-members so when they receive a receipt it doesn’t have their address on it.
I know I can get around this by adding address fields to the common fields in settings but for most of our unpaid events the address is not necessary and only makes the registration process unnecessarily longer. Also when we get our VIPs to register for free at our events it is sometimes inappropriate and certainly unnecessary to ask for an address.
Is there any way around this?…

Membership-specific administrators
Each of our membership levels has a different staff person as a liaison. We'd like the bulk/group emails and other functions to come from/be associated with the designated staff liaison rather than from our general account administrator email/account. Without this feature we are forced to use our generic info@ email address as our administrator account email. This gets very confusing and cumbersome because we don't want our program assistant to be bombarded with all these emails that she then has to sort through and forward to the right person on staff.

See which pages link to a page I'm managing
Hi,
A nice addition would be to see what pages link to a page I'm working on. For example, if I copy or rename a page, I may forget what other pages link to the original - potentially resulting in dead links. Can't always keep it all straight by memory.
Plus as a volunteer organization, we need a tool that can help provide reliable info when it's simply not feasible to document every detail of a website somewhere else.

Searching by and reporting on invoiced/paid by area by person
I would like to be able to search by the amount a person has paid money to the organization, across the board: membership, event, donation, etc. Right now I can do it only by choosing membership and/or donation, but don't see how I can capture event payment info in the search criteria.

Deleting event registraion types after copying an existing event
When copying a previous event there is no way to quickly delete unwanted registration types that get carried in from the previous event. You can only disable individual reg. types which is tedious.
It would be great if there could be a delete button beside each registration type within an event on the Event Registration Types page.

Need to limit Group Participation field access by membership level
When editing membership fields, we cannot set the membership levels that the "Groups" field applies to. We can edit any other membership field of type text, and we can say it applies to certain membership levels only, but not for the field that has groups. We have a new membership level that is for "Friends" of our organization, and they are not eligible to join groups. We don't want to mislead them. What to do?

Add a Simple Event Countdown Widget
It would be great to have a simple countdown widget that members can add to their WildApricot website for upcoming events.
For example, an organization could display a countdown showing the remaining days, hours, and minutes until an annual conference, workshop, fundraiser, or membership event. This could make important events more visible and encourage members to register before the deadline.
Ideally, the widget could be customized to match the website's colors and allow admins to choose which event to feature. A simple option to hide seconds would also be useful when a less distracting display is preferred.
This seems like…

Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server Integration for WildApricot
What is a WildApricot MCP Server?
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server acts as a standardized, secure bridge between an AI assistant (such as Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, or Cursor) and your WildApricot database.
Instead of requiring admins to manually export CSVs, write custom API scripts, or log into the WildApricot backend to run searches, an MCP server gives an AI client direct, context-aware access to query and update your organization's data using natural human conversation.
Key Benefits for WildApricot Admins & AI Users
Conversational Member & Data Queries
Instead of: Filtering contact lists manually or exporting spreadsheets to analyze member…2 votes -
Improve Website Navigation by Using Standard Dropdown Indicators
We've just launched our new Wild Apricot website and Members-Only portal after several months of implementation.
Within the first day of launch, one of our members (a CEO) reported confusion with the website navigation. He interpreted:
HOME > DIRECTORY > PRESENTATIONS
as a breadcrumb hierarchy (similar to Windows File Explorer or many websites) rather than three separate navigation items with dropdown menus.
Once he explained his thought process, I realized his interpretation was completely understandable. I suspect many other users may make the same assumption without ever mentioning it.
I would encourage the Product Team to consider one or more…

Support for Natural Language Queries against data held in WA (contacts, members, events etc)
Allow user to create and run Natural Language Queries against all kinds of data held in WA E.G. wherever WA allows selection of data via predefined search clauses like "is"/"is not", "contains" etc. This will make querying much easier
