custom order featured members
Featured members gadget only offers random order. You should have the ability to have a static order. For example you have a Board of Directors group and you want the the officers in certain order.

Verify Information Timer
There should be an option at the contact level to ask for verification of the contact information every X days. Google does it. Yahoo does it. Facebook does it. When the user logs in the next time, it would take them to the contact information page and prompt them to "It has been a while since we've verified this information. Is this all still correct?"

Add a public form for members to attend the member group
I would like to see a form which members could use to be added to a 'group' with no fees.

Need to be able to upload and house videos, files, pictures
A huge part of membership is being able to watch replays of videos and have access to files. We need to be able to upload videos (pictures, files) directly on our membership site instead of uploading to Youtube and linking over. We currently have to store our videos in our Google Drive and then give them access. It would be AMAZING to just create a page on our membership site and upload them on the site!

Fix membership trends report for bundles
On the Membership Trends Report under "Active Members," you do NOT show Active Members, you show "Active Bundles for levels with Bundles." Bundles include more than one Member so the count of Active Members is incorrect because it's a combination of Members and Bundles if you have levels with Bundles, which we do..
However, the Members Summary List shows both Members and Bundles, which is more informative and shows the correct number of Members.
Suggestion:
Change the Membership Trends Report to correctly show only "Active Members" (not Bundles) like the heading indicates. Or show both Members and Bundles like the…2 votes -
Long renewal periods
We wanted to have a 10 or 15 year renewal period because we have members who do not have credit cards and it is a process for them to get a check and send in an application renewal form so to make their life easier we thought of the idea of having a longer renewal period option. Not a lifetime membership but close for some people.
Coming from a background in S/W development I am curious why this option has to be a dropdown and not a simple variable you can use to enter your own number of years?

OBO (or best offer) option in the store
There should be an option for items in the store in addition to price. A checkbox to accept "or best offer". When checked, allow the buyer to post the price they would pay and allow the administrator to accept, reject, or counter.

More flexibility in renewal messaging
We need more flexibility in the configuration of automatic messages around renewal:
1. We would like to send out the first reminder as an advance announcement before sending the invoice.
2. The current post renewal date messaging allows only two phases. We would like to have three:
Phase 1. 1st overdue warning (grace period notice)
Phase 2. 2nd overdue notice, membership changed to „lapsed“
Phase 3: 3rd overdue notice, membership suspended and renewal invoice voided

private messaging in forums
I would like to be able to contact the author in a forum directly without having to post it on the forum. there should be a contact form that allows the author to be anonymous. For example, a buy sell forum you should be able to contact someone without simply posting it on the entire forum.

Create a second level membership application
We are a boat club that offers boat moorage to members only. It would help us to have a second level membership application gadget that can only be accessed by logged in members, and uses different member fields from our membership application to apply for moorage. We have developed a semi-useful work-around, but a real application gadget would be useful for many organizations.

I often use the File or Image tool in the Content gadget. I refresh the file behind the scences so I do not need to go into the editor to change content. If I go to Files in the Admin interface, delete the file, and re-upload, the webpage updates instantly with no problem. If I do the same with WebDav, it never refreshes. We need to be able to remotly update files used by webpages. I have written API code to pull information out of the website, generate reports, and transfer to Wild Apricot's files. Change Renewal Email Time
Can the automated emails for renewals be set to 12:00PM so that our members actually see them? They currently are emailed out at 12:00AM. It would seem more personal if they actually were delivered when we were in the office. Thanks!

Improve editing of Content Gadget
I have to click several times within a content gadget to enable editing. Cut and paste don't always preserve formatting. Pasting from outside content sometimes produces type that looks different. Would be really nice to have a feature such as the Word "Format Painter".

saved search filter
Allow a way to organize or filter saved searches including listing the last time it was run. Additional coolness would be to allow scheduling the saved search to email the results of the search.

HST on Receipts
I have just processed our first payment and the receipt came through with the total amount of the invoice HOWEVER the HST was not reported separately. As we are a municipal association it is important from our members standpoint and their employers that HST be identified separately. No different than you charging HST on fees and having to report it separately

Enable Registration through entire event, do not disable until END of event.
With the pandemic we have moved all of our events to Virtual and each event requires a Zoom link, which is provided upon registration. This works very well until the event has started. The issue for us is that registration is automatically disabled by Wild Apricot at the start of each event. That means that someone who would like to register during the event/after the start time is not able to receive the Zoom link through the normal registration confirmation. it would be great if you could allow a percent screen for the photos that you provide in background images. Also, it would be great if they could be searchable by subject/theme
