Suggestion for slide show gadget
For SLIDESHOW CONTROLS >> RANDOMIZE ORDER: It would be great if the order were randomized for each run-through, but each photo gets displayed once per run-through.

Cancel by Attendee is Confusing
We host many small group no-fee events and need attendees to be able to cancel themselves but the process of cancelling causes confusion. When they go to My Event Registrations they see a list of events. To see the Cancel button then need to click on an event but not on the event title. Many of them click on the event title and see the event listing. Also having the contact Admin to make changes banner means they do not realise they can cancel themselves. Please can you find a way to make this process easier and less prone to confusion. We often have events running with empty places and several on the waitlist.

Event email customizarion
When only the event date is specified, i.e. no event start time, the current "When" line is :
"When: 23 Dec 2020 , EST"
Different format is needed depending on the event information filled in i.e. with or without start time, end date and end time.
I require to insert a series of "if" statement to determine the event information provided and insert the appropriate data on the "When" line without superfluous blank characters.
Having the capability to assign the output of a macro such as "{Event Date}" to a javascript variable would allow me to resolve this and similar other issues in event massages customization.When only the event date is specified, i.e. no event start time, the current "When" line is :

Selecting roommates during registration
We do multiple Ski Tours each year. Each registrant registers and selects the room type and roommate configuration. ie: Double, triple etc up to seven roommates( three bedroom units).
1) During our registrations for events, we request whom the registrant would like to share a hotel room with. This in turn allows us to match up persons with the rooms and discover how many rooms are actually required for our trips/tours.
Is there a way to have a lookup table inserted or access to the membership list at that time so they could just select their roommate/s from the list. This way would eliminate the numerous errors in spelling of the roommates name and the formatting errors when they enter a name.
No option I could find to do this.
Option two would be to be able to enter first name and last name in two separate boxes in a table.
number of rows would depend on number of roommates.
No option for this either??

Customize What Store Emails Being Sent
My customers are complaining about getting too many email when they place an order in the store. I would like the ability to choose which emails are sent out automatically--I feel they don't need a notice for order confirmation in addition to a receipt, and don't need a fulfillment email when they're also getting the digital content emailed. It's overwhelming and easy to miss the email with the actual digital content in it.

Same address for all bundle members
I would like an option to tie all bundle members to the address of the bundle administrator. If the bundle administrator changes their address, it automatically updates all members in the bundle. This option should be optional. Some bundles will have members with different address, but some will not want to make the same address change for all members of their bundle

Don't auto populate password / email address when editing in admin mode
When editing a members record that doesn't have an email address, it always puts in our admin password and admin email address. Then we have to delete it out before saving the record. Can you make it so that it doesn't auto populate? This would save us a tremendous amount of time when updating our members.

Saving Invoice Line Item
There should be a way to save invoice line items and create a drop-down list so some manner of consistency exists. makes no sense that there is no drop-down if predefined items.. I have never seen accounting that does not have the option to select or create a list of invoice line items!

A chapter membership field
Similar to the group participation field a separate system field called chapter membership could be a very useful way to enable access control by chapter memberships.
Mixing this into the group participation field is problematic because choosing chapters can be publicly available through the member profile while group participation sometimes is managed only by administrators.

New Album File Types, or new way of sharing
My membership user group (professors) doesn't have much use for sharing photos. But it would be great if they could instead share files (like pdfs) in a personal profile file that others could access. Is something like that possible?

archive store orders
Once an online ordering event is complete need the ability to clear out store orders for that event. Either delete orders or archive them. Some way to clear out the Order screen so only currently running store events are displayed.

membership renewal email
It would be nice to be able to specify a date/time automatic for membership renewal emails to go out. It's difficult to calculate x number of days before expiration when planning a communications campaign.

Multiple Newsletters with independent unsubscribes
I run an org that is trying to build a series of more specific e-mails that are regional. I want to be able to have people pick which newsletters they want without unsubscribing to all newsletters. If someone wants just the regional e-mail, they should be able to pick that. If they don't want the regional newsletter but want the broader newsletter, they should be able to pick that too.

Customize which fields appear on pages during the checkout process from online store (physical and digital products)
I'm so happy you can now sell digital products with Wild Apricot! The issue is that when selling products/digital products with Wild Apricot, it's pulling in any of the common fields from the database that are marked as required, and making the customer purchasing the product look at these fields and complete unnecessary info. This makes it confusing for customers who are buying products. For example, one of my common fields has to do with confirming they signed a waiver, and this works really well for people purchasing a membership, and/or attending an event. But is very confusing for someone coming to the website to make a simple purchase. It would be great to customize any fields required for selling products/digital products, so that they are separate from membership/event related activities. Is this something that can be fixed ASAP?

Identifying the membership levels for each restricted page
We have a number of pages that are restricted to certain membership levels. Those membership levels include some for the spring and some for the fall. While I can see, by the lock icon, that the pages are restricted, I can't tell at a glance which pages are set for which levels. I have to open and check each page manually.
Ideally, it would be best to be able to do this programmatically via the API, but, well, I can't. In the meantime, having a blurb or information popup that shows the levels for each restricted page would be very helpful.We have a number of pages that are restricted to certain membership levels. It would be nice to have the flexibility to sort the blogs by the latest dates, to have a field for tags for SEO, and to have a field for the summary that appears on the listing so we can have a proper layout in the listing

Add options for digital products, e.g. different formats for e-books
We are a bookstore/publisher - and we sell a physical version plus 3 digital versions (mobi, epub and pdf) of each of our books. With the current design we will have to make FOUR separate products for every ONE book/product we sell (i.e. three for digital and one for physical).
We are absolutely thrilled to see you have added digital products, Thank you! Unfortunately, for most people selling digital products, most of us will need to offer 3 different versions of the digital product, and for many of us, a physical version as well...
Is there any chance this might happen in the near future? If not, we will have to go to WooCommerce/WordPress. Ugh....

Create a separate role for Poll Manager to allow for managing polls
Thanks for a great product! It would be great if permissions for managing POLLS could be separated out as is currently done for Membership Manager, Events, etc. - This granularity of control would allow full admins to more easily and dynamically manage access to sensitive polls while they are still gathering votes. This would also allow us to delegate polling responsibilities to volunteers or other members to whom we do not wish to grant the role of Membership Manager. Thanks for any consideration you may be able to give this suggestion.

Trial membership with automatic renewal to paid
I would like a way for someone to pay $1 (or free, but have them put in their credit card info for automatic recurring payments) for a trial month, then have the rate increase after their trial month is over WITHOUT them having to re-enter their credit card information. I have seen this on many other apps/memberships, so I am hoping it is possible.
Currently I have it set up as 2 different levels ($1 level, and full membership level) and the level change can happen automatically but the payment cannot. They have to renew and re-enter their credit card info for the recurring payment to increase.
