Ability to link to a folder
We keep our newsletters and some other documents in folders. Currently we have to create a page with links to the individual files. It would be so much easier if we could link to the folder containing those files.

I agree it is tedious to load individual files when it would be so much easier to share a folder.
This is outstanding since 2021!! Why does it take so long for these ideas to be implemented?

Has there been any progress on this issue? I would like to show a folder for Meeting Minutes which automatically shows new files as they are added to the folder.

A folder of Meeting Minutes and newsletters are the obvious two common usage examples of just about every 501c3/4/7 etc. Please Personify, this functionality is long overdue.
Every single person dealing with this is stuck creating a link to each file as it is produced. As one commenter noted, it's very time consuming and prone to error.

We want to keep documents for our executive committee there and for them to access those files they will have to have admin privileges and go in the backend. This will mean lots of people with admin rights. If we had a gadget then we could set up a page with controlled access for them to the folder of minutes and agendas and financial reports. Otherwise we have to put those files into the folders and then link each one on a page - very time consuming and error prone. Thanks for considering this.

What I would find useful is a gadget that displays the contents of a file folder and automatically provides links to the files in it. For example, if you have a folder containing newsletters in PDF format, the gadget could be used on your Newsletters page. New newsletters could be dropped into the folder using the standard WA file management features and the links would automatically appear on the Newsletters page. This gadget could be used for all kinds of documents such as minutes, job descriptions, constitution and by-laws, etc.
