Event Email Reminders required group selection
When duplicating an event - also duplicate the list the emails reminders are to be sent to. Monthly committee meetings always have the same group. Or require a group selection vs. reminders automatically going to the whole membership or contact list.

Automatically refund the registration fees when cancelling
The last week before the event, we do not offer a refund. However when we select cancel for the person cancelling during the last week, it automatically gives a refund on their member account. I would like to be able to select whether to keep the money in the event or give a refund to the member account.

Membership renewal when registering for an event
Hi, we're just into our second year with wild apricot and our members are starting to renew their memberships and register for this season's events. We ran the memberships yearly expiring on Aug 31 2015, so all are expired now. Most people took the hint to renew their membership when registering for an event in 2016, but somehow some paid for just the new events but didn't renew their membership. I have the setting somewhere (can't find it now) that they can register for multiple events and then pay at the end. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing to make them pay for the membership renewal at the same time they pay for the events? Or is that a feature that would be for the wishlist?
Thanks,
Greg

Put a "next" button when viewing a member profile in directory so members could scroll through profiles when trying to identify someone.
Allow members to scroll from one member profile in the directory to the next using a "next " button without having to go back to the entire list. Would function more like a photo directory.

Add the ability to put a small picture (of author) in the title of blog. Many RSS readers use this picture to link Rss stories.

Enable an external person to send an email to a group within the organization
I would like to have a "Contact us" option (i.e., Scholarship Committee) that an external person (member/non-member) could use to contact a group of organization/board members. I envision someone clicking on "Scholarship Committee" within the "Contact Us" dropdown and being able to send an email to the entire Scholarship Committee.

Idea Management/Voting System Gadget
I would like to see simplified functionality such as this idea/wishlist voting system to be added into a gadget for use within the WA ecosystem.
I would like to be able to post ideas (or have members post ideas) and have community voting without having to log into a separate system.

More opt-out/opt-in choices on event announcements
Currently, contacts have three choices on e-mail delivery: event announcement, e-mail blasts, and workflow e-mails. I send all three event announcements so that I can send an early one, mid-range in time, and last reminder. However, some of our members wish they could cut back on these and only get the first one. That's fine with me but I don't see any way to do this. Event announcements are a subscribe/unsubscribe choice. It would be great if we could have a subcategory of this where we could indicate which event announcements a person signs up for. Then, I could just set that choice for them and they'll get one announcement only. Perhaps the default could be all three announcements and I could just manually uncheck a box for 2nd and 3rd announcement for that person.

Donation categorization and tracking/management by member
Provide different contribution to types (i.e. PAC and Small Donor Committee). Include in membership record to allow individual member donations tracking by type, and ability to limit donations to categories to satisfy legal requirements. Donation as a advanced search type and reports by donation type by member would provide capability to encourage members and manage the legal requirements.

Create a new Page Title gadget
It would be handly to have a "Page Title" gadget that could be placed into page templates (or directly onto a page) that would automatically display the page name defined in the page properties.

Event and Membership Taxes - We need to be able to charge different taxes for events and memberships
Event and Membership Taxes - We need to be able to charge different taxes for events and memberships. In Canada, membership dues are taxed based on the province of residence. Taxes for event registrations are collected by the province in which the meeting is being held. But, for the province of Québec, the provincial tax is collected only for its residents. Meaning a non-resident of that province is taxed only the federal sales tax and not the provincial. Residents are taxed both taxes, the Federal and the Provincial taxes. This being said, we really need to be able to have a tax option for registration and a second tax option for membership dues.

New prorate option for new applications - charge for the rest of current period AND add new full one
Currently, the system offers two methods to prorate membership dues on new applications. Option one involves prorating the "current" dues assessment to the next renewal period and Option two charges a full dues assessments and provides a "free" extension to the following renewal date.
I would like to have a third option for new member applications. Under this option, the "current" dues assessment would be prorated to the renewal date and add a full dues assessment so that they would be paid to the following dues renewal date (thus avoiding the "free" extension in option 2).
Example: Jan 1st is the renewal date. Application is submitted on Oct 1 in prior year. Dues assessment is $100. Monthly proration option is used.
The calculation for the dues to be charged would be $25 ($100 / 12 mths * 3 mths) for the Oct 1 - Dec 31 period + $100 for the next renewal period = $125.
The problem our organization has is we mostly deal with business members and they generally join in order to get membership rates at our Conferences - which is substantial cost to them. So we find that they join simply to get member rates on the registration fee for the Conference and then don't renew until the next conference two year out. So we find they join and quit and join and quit. Kind of annoying. So having this option would eliminate that behavior and save up a lot of wasted admin effort trying to get them to renew on non-conference years. The programming seems to be there with what you have now, so my hope is it wouldn't take much to add this option. Hope you can do it.

Macro for remaining registrations
I'd like a macro for the # of open spots for an event. I have some events that are limited to 10 people. It would be great if the announcement emails could include the number of open spots left so that people would know to hurry up and register.

Auto-populate address when paying by credit card
After a member has already logged in (as well as for us on the backend) and one FINALLY (can we please shorten the number of steps to get there!) gets to the credit card screen the member address and phone number needs to be manually entered - seems like a big waste of time as WA already has that information. Could the credit card payment screen be pre-populated with that information which is necessary for the cc to process? Of course the person could always change it prior to hitting the submit button.

Wording Clarification on Email Lists
This is a tiny change and won't gather many votes. But it's easy and would smooth the learning curve for new admins.
In the Compose your email screen, change the wording of the button from "Add contact list" to "Add saved search or subscription list". Or abbreviate to "Add search or subscription".

When Back clicked, make it so you can return exactly to the place you were
In event registration, sometimes we have over 100 people registered. When I review an event, I might go to a particular individuals registration and then try to return to the full registrant's list. What happens is I am automatically put back into the #1-50 in the Pager section rather than going to where I was previously (say I was at #75, instead of going back to #75, I'm put right back into #'s 1-50). It's a bit hard to explain this but I would be happy to discuss with anyone to make it clearer. I spend more time getting back to the number I was at than anything else. It would definitely cut my time if I didn't have to do this. Thank you.

Build registration for events so that Members do not see General admission and overpay
When my members log on and go to register for an event, they see the member rate that applies, but they also see the general public rate. (I assume they see that because it is open to nonmembers and so the system shows it to everyone.)
And inevitably a handful of members blindly click the general public rate. In which case, I have to contact them and refund their money and then step them through another registration. Very time-consuming.
Is there a way, (I'm recalling that there are very clever ways to limit the results in search while looking at the member tab) to limit the choices that logged-on members see when they register? Can we, in other words, make the general public registrations only visible to people who are not logged in? Then members would only see the appropriate choice (assuming they log in.)When my members log on and go to register for an event, they see the member rate that applies, but they also see the general public rate. Add schedule to "featured member" gadget, so it can be adjusted to run for a day, week or a month.
Would like functionality to this gadget for time display in days. This would allow a setting for selecting how long to run the "member profile" to run for a pre-determined amount of time. I would use this gadget if it offered this feature.
