Automatically refund the registration fees when cancelling
The last week before the event, we do not offer a refund. However when we select cancel for the person cancelling during the last week, it automatically gives a refund on their member account. I would like to be able to select whether to keep the money in the event or give a refund to the member account.

Doesn't appear that a non-refundable fee has ever been addressed. Sure wish it would be because we spend a lot of time fooling with this.

Would like to be able to cancel a registration without automatically voiding invoice. Would like the option to VOID invoice OR Keep OR Reduce Invoice to reflect full, partial, or no refund as per event cancellation policies we use.

We used to charge a $5 cancellation fee. Due to the time it takes to do a partial cancellation in PayPal, we opted to stop the fee and just have no refunds unless we can sell someone's spot to another person. Having to create an invoice in WA to cover cancellations is time consuming. Please add the option to cancel with no refund by clicking such an option.

Cancellations with no refund - it would be helpful if the system automatically allowed for the cancellation of events with no refund or credit allowed for event fees or allowed for a specified cancellation fee, instead of the user having to manually create new invoices and settle them. Although no refund is being given we still need to cancel the registration in order to keep track of the number event attendees and allow others to register in place of the cancelling attendee.

We, like many non-profits have a "no-refund" policy . Because of the way the WA cancellation process is set up, we cannot "officially" cancel anyone from a fee event, so we need to leave the person on the registration list. A "refund/no refund" box would be very helpful.

I like Gary Roth's addition to this idea.

Sometimes we charge a cancellation fee. I support the idea to offer an option to cancel and enter the amount of the fee, update the invoice and keep that invoice associated with the event so that the fee is included in the "registration by types" report for that event.

I too would love to have the option to cancel with refund (full or partial) or without refund. While creating a separate invoice to absorb the refund amount from the contacts account works, it makes things rather messy when exporting records to QuickBooks.

Please offer the option to cancel (from the administrative side) Cancel *with refund or *without refund

Yes! If a member dances a registration within 2 weeks of an event, there is no refund. As it stands now, we cancel the registration and then have to create a separate invoice. Should by a choice to refund or not.

If you really want to get fancy, make it possible to set a cancellation policy for events and then prompt the admin to select the right choice according to the policy - but if we can just have the option to select that's good too :)
