An error occurred while saving the comment GOPS Webmaster commentedIn addition to an overall guest limit, would like to see ability to limit the number of guests as well at the registration level. E.g., paid member +1 guest only.
An error occurred while saving the comment GOPS Webmaster commentedFor some of our events we want to register only paid members (as other have mentioned here), we have now turned off the "guest" option because too many people were being added as guests and who were not paid members. Some members were registering their partners/spouses as "paid members" but some are not actually paid members. This caused us to manually verify memberships, create invoices or emails requesting membership activation, etc. Paid member couples now have to sign in twice just to register the two of them for a single event. It would be better if the guest option could include an optional requirement that the "guest" actually be a "paid member". Better yet would be to implement an option for one spouse/partner to register and pay for themselves and their paid member spouse/partner in a single transaction.

An error occurred while saving the comment GOPS Webmaster commentedAlong these lines, we'd love to see WA develop an option to have a parent organization with sub-chapters in a single website/database. We charge member and non-member rates for events and it's a pain when a member of another chapter has to register on our Chapter website to get our "member" event rates. A consolidated membership database would be sweet. We currently manually pay our parent org $5 per year per member - not hard to do. But, we'd love a consolidated website for the parent and 5 Chapters. If implemented, then we'd like to see something like splitting the parent $ amount out vs. the Chapter funds.

An error occurred while saving the comment GOPS Webmaster commentedFor newsletter templates, I'd like to see them in a folder and then an option to automatically save them upon sending them into a different folder (perhaps a sub folder) which can then be viewed by members or the general public. Past newsletters are a way of letting perspective new members see what our organization is all about, what we do, etc. Right now, I'm saving the received newsletter email to a .pdf file as a Newsletter on a Google Drive folder for public access. It's tacky.

An error occurred while saving the comment GOPS Webmaster commentedWe are getting membership and event descriptions in our PayPal transaction - individual payments and a monthly report. However, when one member pays for say two annual memberships (their own and their spouse), the PayPal transaction says "membership" and the applicable WA invoice #, but it does not include the member's name for who the payment was made. In a few cases, some members let invoices age and then pay for several events at the same time - again, only invoice #'s are shown. We track membership payments in our finance system (Quicken) via name, not WA invoice #. Add the Member's name in the PayPal transaction would be a great help in recording the correct member's name in Quicken. Our Membership Chair (uses WA) and our Finance Person (uses Quicken) spend way too many hours trying to balance the two systems each month with new and renewal payments.

An error occurred while saving the comment GOPS Webmaster commentedAny further news on this subject? Our organization has 5 Chapters and 500+ members. Four of our Chapters are now using their own WA sites. We would love to pursue a "national" or "umbrella" top level with Chapters still doing their own websites under the "national" concept. We are looking for a single membership database and Chapter ability to use their own PayPal (or other) account for "their" events. We'd love to see the ability to provide a combined calendar of events. E.g., we offer camping trips put on by each Chapter, but we'd like to invite all in the organization via the joint membership database. Along these same lines, the ability to subscribe to a joint calendar on our mobile devices - iphones, ipads, etc.

We used to charge a $5 cancellation fee. Due to the time it takes to do a partial cancellation in PayPal, we opted to stop the fee and just have no refunds unless we can sell someone's spot to another person. Having to create an invoice in WA to cover cancellations is time consuming. Please add the option to cancel with no refund by clicking such an option.
