  1. Increase Font Size, Reduce White Space

    Increase the size on the pages. Currently they take up a fraction of the available space. For example on the Add Member page the entries are tiny, the font is tiny and there is a huge amount of white space down right side and across bottom.

  2. Simple topic entry for recurring events

    In recurring events, include an entry option for Topic/Subject/Description next to the date & time.
    For example, Movie Night with the ability to enter the movie, or lecture series with ability to enter topic.

  3. Setting who sees what pages in one spot rather than having to edit each page

    I have several membership levels, each with access to specific pages depending on their membership level.To do this I have to go to each individual page to set access levels. I would like a feature that would allow me to designate pages to specific membership levels without having to edit each individual page.
    I envision seeing all pages listed with a radio button for each membership level maybe so I can scroll down the pages and designate who sees what pages in one spot.

  4. Issue with the term "Email Blast"

    I have noticed that some of our contacts have disabled the receipt of Email Blasts. They are OK with Event Announcements & Workflow Emails but they do not want any "Email Blasts". As a result they have missed important notifications.

    I think the reason that they have disabled them is that the term "Email Blast" is kind of synonymous with "Junk Email". So could less negative name for bulk emails be devised ?

  5. Copy event registration to individual organizers

    We use an event manager to post all events, however, as an outdoors club, we could have 50 different leaders leading one trip. Would like to be able to cc the leader of the event they are leading, not any of the other events, so that they know who is registering; otherwise, you may just as well put down in the description: Email xxxx if you want to come.

  7. More Flexibility to Specify Members Included in Directory

    At the moment, the only members that can appear in the Directory gadget are statuses Active and Pending-Renewal.

    Even if the Directory is set to display from a Saved Search that includes other member statuses, those members are still excluded.

    I suggest that when the Saved Search specifically includes other statuses, those members should not be automatically excluded.

    In other words, if the Directory gadget specifies a Saved Search and the search includes a Member Status criterion, then the default exclusions on status should not be applied.

    This will have more flexibility if and when multiple logic levels are implemented…

  8. Login link should redirect to starting page when contact already logged in

    Currently, logged out members are taken to the configured starting page after logging in with /sys/login

    However, if members are already logged in, /sys/login takes them to the home page. I think this should also redirect the member to the correct starting page.

  9. index custom fields so they can be searched

    Custom fields would be more useful if the system indexed them so they can be found through the search function. Now when you enter text into a custom field and search for it you will get an empty result list. If custom fields were indexed you would find the content.

  10. Save sent e-mails as PDF or web page

    I have old newsletters in my e-mail log that I would like to be able to link to my website. I'd like to be able to have an export option for them so that I can save them as PDF or as a webpage.

  11. Recording donations from non-contacts

    In the "Record Donation" page, donor details, allow option to create a new contact immediately using the details provided where the donor does not have a record in the organization. Current method of adding a contact first, followed by donation, is somewhat cumbersome.

  12. Adding EST or PST Start and End Times

    We have people registering for our event from all over the country and overseas. It would be extremely helpful if the registration start and end dates and time would say EST or PST for Eastern Standard Time or Pacific Standard Time.

  14. Allow a manual invoice to be flagged as a membership invoice.

    When a member has come out of sequence on billing, requires a billing adjustment, or when a member attempts to pay many sessions in advance, it is often necessary to manually adjust that member's membership term and to issue a manual invoice to reflect that adjustment. Unfortunately manual invoices for membership do not show up in the Income Report as membership related income.

    This proposal is to allow an administrator to flag an invoice as membership related so that it will properly show up as membership income for the Income Report.

    Our members are interested in making payments for club events using no-fee P2P (person to person) payment apps such as Google Wallet, Apple Pay or Venmo. This is especially useful for our mobile users.

  16. Select sent email in new email wizard

    In the new email wizard when it makes you select a template, I would like to be able to go to my email log and select a sent email as well. (Like I was able to before when composing a message.) This would let me use a sent email as the basis for my new email. I do this for reminders or to re-send an email to a different group of people.

    I know there is a way to go to the log first, then resend an email that way, but it would be helpful if this was an option…

  17. When searching, keying <ENTER> shouldn't refresh the page

    In the Membership List, Event List etc, users can type into the search box at the top of the list and the list will seach in "real time", not requiring the user to press <enter> to conduct the search.

    While this is great, most people have a muscle memory to hit <enter> after entering a search term, as it is widely used on the web. In Wild Apricot though, hitting <enter> like this causes the page to refresh (and sometimes the search term clears).

    Can you please code something into the Search box to ignore the <enter> key.

  18. See how many views a forum post has received

    I've had a number of our members ask if it is possible to see how many times a forum post has been viewed. All our forums are 'Member' only and this feature would be very useful to review and judge member engagement. I hope there are others who would find this a useful feature if it was deemed acceptable to be introduced.

  19. Not report on registrations for suspended members

    When exporting all event registrations, registrations for suspended members (even cancelled ones) are included in the downloaded file. Note that these registrations do not appear in the Events.
    This caused a good bit of confusion when we used the .xls file to generate and mail reports to our members. Suspended members received a list of registrations and assumed that the registrations were valid.
