Migrating site templates, colors/styles configuration, events, site pages between WA sites
As a Wild Apricot partner we are tasked to do the following:
- setup a new ** website and launch
- migrate an existing ** website with new website designs
This feature is particularly helpful when a customer is already on Wild Apricot, in production but would like to test some new website design features or redesign the website altogether.
Currently our approach is to clone the production site with ** support, design on the clone and then move manually over to production. It would be really helpful if ** featured a way to export configuration options that can be imported into another ** website.
For starters I could see
- Theme selection
- Colors & Styles Configuration
- Bulk File manager download (not just file by file)
- Site template configuration
If you could export these settings and import them into an existing ** website and apply these changes it would really help.
Of course exporting events and related configuration settings for each event, exporting site pages between sites would also be nice.
Another approach would be to allow a "staging" feature to be available inside a site that can allow a separate website to be designed and Promoted to production, archiving site pages, overwriting configuration settings.
I realize it's a complicated ask with lots of issues, but right now ** redesigns and new configuration and experimentation is not really possible on a production ** system. You have to clone and move the results manually.

We'd like to issue gift certificates through our web site.
We are an aquatic center, and people (both members and non-members) often give one of our training programs to friend and family. We're currently handling this manually.
Requirements are:
- Giver can purchase gift certificate on web site.
- System will capture contact (giver) information + recipient information (name, email address, phone for both)
- System will generate and provide unique serial number for each certificate.
- System will email gift certificate to giver
- System will accept serial number as payment when recipient enrolls in program.22 votes -
Ability to use any private/admin-only field in macros
It would very useful to be able to use private member fields in email templates or forms. In general, this fields are for internal membership management and does not need to be visible to the members.

Dropdown with multiple choice functionality
The ability to select more than one option from a drop down menu, would be a very useful feature. The alternative option available now, multiple choice field, can be an issue for long lists (eg, countries) and many multiple choice fields.
This seems to be a common feature in other software and would be advantageous for Wild Apricot to add it.

Larger Membership Card Template
Make a template that is 2x larger this allows printing more information and when cut out it can be folded to current size.

membership card that is only available after renewal is complete
For membership cards would like to have a current card and a renewal card that is only available after renewal is complete.
We put information (lock/gate access codes) on the card. The code changes each year and we do not want to allow access to the new code to someone that has not renewed.
With the new membership cards we would have to wait until we close renewals and archived individuals who have not renewed before editing the card with new information.7 votes -
Upcoming EVents for Multiple days
Please add a option for Events to show or not show in Upcoming Events. When there are multiple days like a Pilates class a week it takes up all of the Upcoming calendar.

Hide number of associated bundle members
hide number of associated bundle members in directory listing
Option to hide the number of bundle members - that is showing on the online member directory, in parenthesis after the bundle admin name.

allow members to edit profile and include fees
It would be useful to allow a Membership Field with an extra charge to be edited, or added, by a member within their profile, generating a new invoice for that charge. We use fields with extra charges to provide our members with a la carte optional add-ons to their membership on the registration form and would like to be able to easily offer those same add-ons to members after they have joined.

Create Video Album
I would like to have a video album, so I can store videos and use a gadget to display them (similar to photos). I recognize that the Wildapricot photo album is very small, probably due to expense. Is that why we don't yet have a video album?

Creating Pre-Defined Lists for field options
We have a set of fields with about 320 items in a drop down list. It would be nice to create and edit the list of 320 items and then select it as a pre-defined list similar to states. There are changes each year to the items on this list and it's very time consuming to add/remove items from each of the 20 instances the list appears. It's actually quicker to delete the fields and re-add them.

Multiple event gadgets on same page
I want to have two or more event gadgets on the same page, filtered by different tags.
Example. I'd want a calendar for events sponsored by our neighborhood. Then I'd want a separate calendar for events sponsored by city-wide groups such as the book fair, or science fair, City alders, Mayor, Arts group.

Image Size as %
It would be great if there was an option to set images size as a % instead of pixels. Most of our content is read on phones and ipads as well as computers and currently there is no way to ensure that images format correctly for all three formats. (blog posts, newsletters, etc)
