- Add complete correspondence tracking and tickling. Add interface with external email clients, to keep track of conversations. Add tickler/call tracking - basic CustomerRM stuff. Need to implement/follow-up marketing campaigns for different sunsets of members. No, I don't want to put this in a wish list again.
- Add better handling of layers, want to put text over videos, slideshows, etc. like most new(ly updated) sites have these days.
- Add name search to email templates.
- Provide competitive pricing re: email-only (non-active) contacts.
- Add Wordpress style themes. I have more but I'm busy. Keep up the great work improving WA!

The Edit Button is a Waste of Time
When updating registration types for events, I have to click the "Edit" button to update the registration option. You should go to the Edit page directly. The middle step is a waste of time. In fact get rid of ALL edit buttons. Every page should have open fields. Clicking Edit is archaic and counterintuitive. WHY ADD THE EXTRA STEP!?

allow application of templates without erasing the text
Currently, when I apply a new template to existing email, the entire content of the email is erased. Also if I update a template centrally - say for a footer change - it does not get applied to all the emails using that template. I have to go and edit all the email templates to propogate that simple footer change. Please improve the way you design/apply.adopt templates to membership/event/finance emails.

Ability to join next period of membership and pay for it instead of pro-rating the fee of current period
Our mob teaches seniors to seniors.
We have 4 calendar terms.
Renewing members are invoiced $27 every 3 months 28 days prior to end off term … with 14 day reminders et al.
New members are invoiced on a prorated basis $9, $18 or $27 depending upon which month of the term they join.Still with me??? Deep breath now ….
1) Any new member who wants to join at the start of the NEXT term, which is normal
for anyone who enquires toward the end of a term cannot be invoiced until the start of that NEXT term.
If they are entered in the system PRIOR to the start of the next term, they cop a prorated invoice for the last month(s) of the current termSo we don’t join them up & invoice them until beginning of term … and have to manually record the details until is time to join them up, Then they start day one of new term and don’t get an invoice to pay for a couple of days … more stuffing around for us. The System sends them out fast enough, but the delays happen in us getting the manual invoices done ASAP, and then the old folk not opening their emails in a timely manner et al.
Sooooo what I’d like is the ability to join up new members & issue an invoice in the previous term which I forward date to apply ONLY to the new term … predate the invoice so to speak.
I’ve tried to pre date one, but it still prorates the invoiceOur mob teaches seniors to seniors.

allow membership levels for events
We have events that are open only to those at a certain level of achievement. We can restrict events to members only, but have no way to restrict registration only to members with proper certification. We need a way to setup events so that the event admin does not have to manually check the qualifications of each person who registers.

Expand your base of potential customers
Don't limit yourself to memberships. Publishers, like me, are adapting WA as a content management/paid subscription management tool

This is really interesting and something we have thought about in the past. Would love to hear more comments from everyone.

enable a feature that allows (or not) the sender of email blasts to disclose to each recipient who else the email is addressed to
When I send an email to "all committee members" I want each of the committee members to know that they are receiving the email as a member of the committee, it's not just an email from me to them alone. In effect, I'd like to be able to disclose the distribution list to all recipients, not the individual names but for example " all members with a valid email address" or "all members attending the BBQ on 24 April" etc

We considered this initially when we started working on making WA more mobile friendly. Ultimately we decided to go with the mobile app, but we’d love to hear your thoughts on why you prefer a mobile web app accessible via browser vs. a native app (downloaded)

Separate profile page for contacts vs. members
Dear Wild Apricot,
I am setting up an account that has various membership levels plus it allows people to sign up just for an email newsletter without membership. It would be really nice to have a separate profile page (or the ability to set fields for the profile) based on membership or non-membership. The profile page shows invoices as well as subscriptions to forums to forums, for example, to people who are non-members. I think this is confusing.
Also, it would be nice to have be able to set when fields are required or not based on whether someone is a member. For example, I would like to have the first and last name be optional for people signing up for email newsletter but have it required for members.
Thank you.

Payment Module/Form to accept arbitrary payments
Payment module just like the Donations Module. Copy the Donations Module and call the copy the Payment module. Members have to pay us sometimes so I tell them to use the Donation module and I will reapply the payment. An example, last week a member added a guest to her already paid $30 event registration. So we had an updated invoice that added $30 for the guest, displayed the invoice for $60, displayed that $30 had been paid and the balance due was $30. Perfect.
But when the member tried to pay it to WA, PayPal blocked it and said "you have already paid that invoice." So I said ok, pay $30 using the Donations module and it was done.Payment module just like the Donations Module. Copy the Donations Module and call the copy the Payment module. Ability to CC an email for registration on events
We need to have the ability to have a secondary email for event registrations. If a person registers for an event and wants to have their assistant in the notifications currently there is no ability for this.

A/B testing of email newsletters
WildApricot emails do have an open & link tracking system in emails to contacts.. however, after you've spent the time and detail to get your email to members just right, ENSURE YOUR CAMPAIGN GETS THE BEST POSSIBLE RESPONSE by involving at least some measure of testing.
An A/B email testing will ensure your emails perform better!
This works by sending 2 emails (aka "A" and "B") to test the highest open rate, engagement, etc. After automatically testing to 10%, the winning email with greatest success is sent to all members!

The 50-50..... What is it?
A style of test where you send version A to 50% of your list and version B to the other 50% of your list.
When should you use it?.... Use a 50-50 test when you’re testing emails you send frequently such as newsletters, daily/weekly/monthly digests, product announcements, or sale alerts. Use this type of test when you are looking for results that you will reuse again and again.
The 10-10-80..... What is it?
Another style of test when you send A to 10% of your list, B to 10% get a confident result and send the winner to the remaining 80% of list.... When should you use it?
The 10-10-80 is useful whenever you want to test an element of an email that’s part of a time sensitive campaign, AND you have a very large list.
Say you’re planning a marketing campaign with 5 emails that you’ll send to your entire list. This is the perfect scenario for a 10-10-80 because you want to get quick results on which elements are performing best so you can apply those lessons on the remaining campaign emails. This way, you will capture as much value possible from the campaign. (For more information on 50/50, 10/10/80: http://ittybittyurl.com/1o8C)
