  1. QRF code for users to self check-in

    We are currently using the Wild Apricot Admin application to check members into events. I understand that users can scan into events using a QRF code from the user app. There should be a way that users can scan themselves into an event. For example, we should be able to create a QRF code that users can scan and be submitted into the attendance?

  2. Total Registrants Count

    PLEASE change the total registrants count on the event list view to show # Attendees + # Guests - not the total number of a people attending. At a glance, we need to see how many members have registered, but the current count on this page includes guests lumped into that total. To view the breakdown, we have to click each event then go to the registrants tab. Having it separated on the Events List would be much better!

  3. Auto-Suspend Guests after 3 Events

    Membership is not growing, because people say they can just pay $10 more to attend every event. We would like to control event registration to only allow guests to attend 3 times and then suspend them...taking them to a page that tells them the benefits of being a member and encourages them to apply now. This could easily be managed in the Events section using Contact levels. You would need to require a password registration on all public registrations.   4. Guest Registration Email Address

    When guests are added to a registration, they are NOT currently required to have an email address. I understand that this is because the person doing the registration may not know the email addresses of their guests. (Well, they SHOULD!) This creates a problem--if you have chosen to add guests to your contacts, then you are stuck with useless contacts that count against your contact limit. SUGGESTION: If I choose to "ADD GUESTS TO CONTACTS" then the system should REQUIRE email addresses for guests. If I don't choose to "ADD GUESTS TO CONTACTS" then the system should NOT REQURE email…

  6. Bulk update membership level emails

    Being able to choose which levels to update with renewal reminder notices - instead of ALL or just the default. We have several membership levels, to which we want to send the same reminder notices for some and differently worded notices for others. Having to update each reminder for each level is extremely time consuming!

  7. Allow for updating Opt-In Status via API or Make.com

    Please allow us to update a contact's email Opt-In Status via the API. As a workaround to limitations of Wild Apricot's email subscriptions feature, some of us use third-party forms to collect subscribe requests, and we need a way to mark these new subscribers as opted-in.

  8. Cannot sort files by Size, Type or Date.

    In my Files backend window, I can only sort by Name. Sorting by Size, Type and Date all used to work by clicking on the column heading, but some years ago this stopped working. Where there are a lot of files or pictures, this lack of functionality makes housekeeping very difficult. When I click on the column heading, I get a vertical line and the sort does not happen.

  9. New email editor should support font awesome

    Pasting a font awesome icon into the new email editor Text Gadget doesn't work. The UI says it is using the font awesome font, but the icon displays as a solid box. This looks like a bug to me (else why would the UI recognize the font), but WA support asked me to log it as an enhancement, so here it is. (WA support confirmed it didn't work for them either, so not a local browser issue)

    Allow members to do an Advanced Search of the Directory using more than one term in a search field (or using the same field more than once. As an Admin I can search for multiple terms (e.g. "1972" and "Cutlass") by adding a second instance of a field. I would like our members to be able to do the same type of search in the directory.

    Similar to any email interface, allow the creation of signature blocks for use in all email templates (membership, event, and manual). Existing organization macros do not contain all information that may be contained in a signature, i.e. company address, phone number. In our organization, emails mail be signed by the one of the Board members, committee chairs or committees, but come from the same organization email address.

  13. Be able to override the default email that Store emails are sent to.

    Emails can only be sent to the member login email. For those trying to order Christmas or birthday presents, it is no longer a surprise. Should be able to enter a different email for confirmations, etc.

  14. Eliminate one source of human error in event registration

    When registering for an event, members sometimes conclude they’re done and fail to click the Confirm button. This has happened at least once with about 10% of our members. They think they’re registered and show up at the event, but we had no idea they were coming. Unfortunately the Confirm button is below the visible part of the screen, so you have to scroll to even know it’s there.   15. Add EventID query to Finances.PaymentAllocations

    Unlike Finances.Payments and Finances.Invoices that will return all payments/invoices, or all payments/invoices for an Event (or Contact), PaymentAllocations only returns results for a single invoice or payment. This can slow down scripts by several orders of magnitude.

    Would be great if the PaymentAllocations GET call was expanded to add an EventID query (like Finances.Payments), or even to return all payment allocations, rather than only one at a time.

    Use case: I want to generate a list of all the payments made to an event, showing the actual $$ that each payment was TO THE EVENT. Calling GET on the Finances.Payments…

    Put two action buttons on every page that
    -- Print a simplified version of the page with less clutter / header graphics
    -- Email the page and a link to various Saved Search groups

    This is automatically there in Joomla! and I suspect also in Wordpress

  17. Make integration of WildApricot with other applications

    I have been using Make to integrate WildApricot with other applications. Eg, auto generation and emailng of registrant lists to organisers of all upcoming events.
    I would like to communciate with others who have experience with Make.
    Eg, I am trying to upload files from a WA Attachment Field to say GoogleDrive. Of course, I can do this manually but automatically would be very desirable for us.

  18. Modified check in procedure

    We regularly check in 150-175 members at monthly events, all in about 15 minutes. I can check someone in with a single click, but if I also want to clear his/her invoice (still open if he is a cash or check payor), I need to go through a much longer process. Could we have a global setting that caused an event invoice to be cleared automatically when checked in for that event?

  19. Bulk clearing of invoices

    An event with 150 attendees might, in our case, result in 50 payments in advance by credit card and 100 payments on event day by check or cash. Marking an invoice paid requires three screens, three clicks, so that means 300 screens to clear all the invoices from a single event (we have at least one event per month).

    You give us an export function to export invoices; what would be handy is a similar import function so we could edit the XLS file and then import it back to clear the invoices.

  20. Allow "add to calendar" on events not requiring registration

    Right now, "Add to calendar" in an Event only appears (on the Events page for end users) if Registration is turned on. This option should be selectable whether or not registration is required.

    It should also appear in the email announcement sent about the event.
