Glad to announce that we fixed issues with Poll announcements. The feature is available starting from 6.7 version. Sorry for the delay.

Polls - would like to be able to set the exact time the poll should close.28 votes
For election purposes, it would be helpful to see if a member has voted. Do not need to know what there was selection was for, but of the members listed to have access in a given group, highlight their name if they participated in the election. As of right now I can only guess who voted in our test poll/election39 votes
Ability to define responses for the poll, anonymous vs. collecting indiviual data, was published with 7.14 version release.
More about this release:
Can you add a poll announcement email send time. As of now it goes out at midnight and some of our members would prefer it goes out during daytime hours.5 votes
(From a client) Be able to break up the poll into multiple pages. useful for mobile apps and allowing users to save their response before continuing.11 votes
This feature has promise! Really need a little bit more control over editing... ability to edit poll thank you message. "Thank you for your vote" will not work for a membership survey.13 votes
Enhance polling capability to allow for multiple "announcement emails" similar to the event announcement capabilities. This would enable us to invite members to take the poll and not send the email to members that have already taken the poll.14 votes
Requesting these updates to the Poll module.
1) Have the question numbering reflected in the survey. Currently a number shows beside each question at the time of setting up the poll, but does not show up on recipients survey.
2. Add "Optional" as an option for the responses? Currently every question must be answered in order to submit the survey.
3. Remove the hard coding on the label on the "Other" field, so it could be renamed. e.g. Comments, etc.
4. Rearrange the questions by dragging up or down, vs having to retype questions.7 votes
We are working on some improvements for Polls, so I decided to work on requests related to this module.
We usually keep one thread per one idea/suggestion, so we can address them and close the thread.
There are existing threads related to items from this request. Please vote to be subscribed for the further updates and also add additional comments.
1) Questions numbering. This is just a small bug in design, I will share it with the development team.
2) Optional vs. Requires fields (in our nearest plans): https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/33979201
3) Remove hard coding label ‘Other’. We are considering to add the new type of answer ‘Free text’ to support this (also in our nearest plans together with the item above):
4) Rearrange the questions: https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932/suggestions/34422379
Thank you again for your support and input on product improvement.

(From a client) Ability to add a text box before a question to link to a picture or discuss something. The following question might be a Yes/No question. Useful for asking opnions on which option they prefer. (ie logo design, or menu selection, etc)9 votes
In Polls, be able to add a manual response (we have some people who don't use a computer), where an admin can log on and complete the poll for them.13 votes
We'd like to survey our members about their interests, and then have their responses be automatically saved in a common field on their contact forms. Is it possible to create poll questions that can be captured as common fields for contacts/members?5 votes
Add increased functionality to allow questions on a 1 - 10 rating scale so that NPS type surveys can be done. Example -- on 1 - 10 scale, please rate our June program on abcdef.12 votes
After an event be able to email registrants a short survey about the event.43 votes
(From a client) Allow users to upload files.6 votes
I have created a poll for Admins only. I sent the link out via email to myself but have discovered that if I am not logged in and/or logged in but not in admin view I get the page not found (error 404). If I log in first and then go to admin view, the link takes me to the poll. People responding to an email link to a poll will usually not be logged in and get an error message.7 votes
Add the option to randomize the order of answer choices in a poll. This is important because the order of answer choices (such as candidates for office) can influence how often they are chosen. Other polling programs allow answer choices to be randomized in each individual poll. The result of this is that each answer choice appears as the first option in the list approximately the same number of times (across all polls completed).9 votes
Have access to the date and time the poll was opened and closed.5 votes
(from a client) Have a Poll Gadget to add to web pages. Gadget should list all open Polls that are either Public or that logged on user is authorized to. For users that are not logged on (ie Public) – restricted polls should be shown but not selectable. There should be wording indicating that these Polls require login to access21 votes
Polls are not supported, an external tool must be used (e.g. wufoo.com)
The ability to create polls that can be sent to members385 votes
Hello, dear supporters!
We’re happy to announce that now the Polls feature is available for all our clients.
Thanks for participating in beta-testing, valuable comments, kind words and positive feedback!
We already created several threads based on your comments (more than 10!), you can find them by “poll” keyword: https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist?query=poll
Have a great day!

There needs to be a way to delete individual poll results. On rare occasions there may be a duplicate entry or the administration may wish to test the poll right after publication. In both of those cases, it would be very helpful to be able to have the administration be able to delete an individual result.1 vote
