keep original expiration date when changing membership levels
When changing from one membership level to another, the renewal date changes. It shouldn't change just because the level changes.

We would like the ability to set a minimum value for an order in the online store before allowing the buyer to check out.
If the buyer buys $1.00 worth of merchandise it is not worth it to us with the credit card fees, etc. We would like to specify that they order at least $5.00 worth of books before they can check out. Thank you.

Track member qualifications
I'd like to be able to track members qualifications - I can then promote members who have certain qualifications using the member Directory. I can sort of do it atm with non-editable profile fields but it's very clunky.manual - ie there is no way of assigning a date to the qualification, let alone managing it by sending a reminder or an upload of certification etc etc

manual sort of levels on renewal page
Levels can be manually sorted on the Join page, but levels are sorted alphabetically on the Renewals page. Why can't we put the list in the order we want?

Manage Group Participants by Membership Level
Groups: Add members to a group by Membership Level so we can have multiple membership levels automatically added.
Example 1:
Our membership organization has different levels of Supporting Partners, but they are all Vendors. We track them within the Membership Levels alongside our Members. Would like to have a "Vendor Group" As new vendors come on board or others discontinue sponsorship, they would automatically be added to Vendors simply by virtue of the Memebership Level they belong to--NOT individually added (which is easy to forget to do and difficult manage).Example 2:
Some of our Membership Levels are Non-Voting. Therefore, it would be helpful to have separate groups for Voting Members and Non-Voting Members, each comprised of the various levels that are allowed/not allowed to vote.Groups: Add members to a group by Membership Level so we can have multiple membership levels automatically added.

Easy to implement login gadget
We maintain a sire that has information about our organization and making WA part of it is what we would like to do so members don't have to go to many different sites. Your ability to have login on another site is really poor. so my suggestion is why not use the code behind your login box (that is the one when you go to the WA site) available to be placed on another site. It is well done, it has checking for different broswers, password and email verification along with the ability to reset passwords and register or start another free trial. So why not package it up (a complex gadget) so it can be transferred and used on another site. We can change the simple HTML code to reflect our organizations name and remove the free trial link to make it more useable. Otherwise from what I can discern it is a really well done piece of code. So make it available to use users!

Group Membership based on search
Create some method of automatically maintaining group membership based on information of members/contacts. Seems like search filters would be a good start.
For example we have a list of interests that members can check off. All the people who mark chess as an interest should be in the Chess group

edit card information for non-recurring members with recurring donations
Your system will only allow people signed up for automatic membership renewal to edit their credit card information. This excludes people who have signed up for automatic donations but not automatic renewal of membership.
In addition, if someone is in this category there is no "renew" button for the member because the system assumes that automatic payments apply to all types of payments when they don't.
Please fix this ASAP. I see a previous post where you partially addressed the issue and called it closed. This does not address those with saved payment information or recurring contributions but not recurring membership renewals.
From previous post:
Team Payments responded
I’m glad to announce that we have released this update in v. 5.10.Any member on recurring level can now update credit card at any time. To prevent recurring payment failures we remind users about credit card expiration 2 weeks before the date (Administrators can customize this email or disable it completely).
Need to note, that updating credit card works only for Stripe, Authorize.Net, Moneris and PayPal PayFlow Pro payment gateways. For payments from PayPal Standard & Express Checkout update credit card and expiration messages are handled by PayPal itself.
We have a bunch of other improvements in 5.10. Check out our release notes! https://help.wildapricot.com/display/DOC/Release+5.10

virtual show
We would like to be able to host a virtual art show with judging. Is this a possibility? Because of the Covid restrictions, our art club cannot have an art show. But if we could have the art show online that would be a big benefit to our membership. We would need for the membership to upload the art and have a title, size, medium, and division.

Show orders / purchases list in contact details
To make the store integrated with the rest of Wild Apricot, since there are tabs in an individual record for membership, events, donations there should be a way to attribute a purchase to an individual contact and that income shows up within the contact record. I want to see the total income from a contact including purchases.

Add Certificate to Members files upon completing training
Our members receive CEU's for attending our Annual Conference and workshops. It would be great if we could automatically add a copy of their certificate to their file storage after each event. ie. Certificate template along with confirmed attendance list creates file in each attendees account. I can easily use a mail merge to to create the certificates from the list of attendees but we have to manually add each certficate to the users account. Attendance at our annual conference is 350-400 which makes it impossible to do manually.

Link sold out events to stopping event announcements
When an event has a limit on the number that may attend, why can't WA automatically stop sending event announcements for the event? There are times when there is a run on an event and it sells out sooner than expected. When that happens, I have to go in and cancel the prescheduled announcements for the event. When I forget or don't realize the event is sold out and another announcement is issued to our membership, I receive flak because the event is sold out. Can't there be some link between sold out events and stopping announcements?
Thanks,

membership
We're looking for a way to run a report on folks who have changed their membership level (from Assoc to Pro in our case) for a selected timeframe. This would provide us the ability to see how our membership is trending - whether they're making gains in the industry such that they could be considered 'Professional'.
From a back-end perspective, I think it'd be a matter of:
- adding two database columns (MEMBERSHIP-PREVIOUS-LEVEL and MEMBERSHIP-PREVIOUS-CHANGE-DATE)
- Figuring how to populate those columns on initial member creation (blank or default to initial level and join date)
- Updating code so that when a member's level is changed; their current member level is pushed to the aforementioned previous level column, and the date field is updated with the date of the change
- Writing a query that searches the two new columns for the prescribed date range.

decimal seperator
The decimal seperator for all prices is marked by ",". Therefore, when sending out an invoice of 25000, the value on the invoice reads "25,000".
We are a danish organization, and in Denmark, the decimal seperator is "." and therefore when we send and invoice of 25,000 DKK it actually states that the owed amount is only 25 DKK.
Is it possible to have an option where the decimal seperator will be a decimal point instead of a decimal comma?
Looking forward to hearing from you
Best regards

localStorage
There is a DOM Exception thrown if localStorage is tried to be accessed within an IFrame and certain Browser Privacy Settings. My JavaScripts are not executed because of the Exception caused by your JavaScripts. Please fix by using try/catch every time your scripts try to access localStorage. Please start in object "OnlineStoreCartService" because this is affecting me.

secondary email login
As couples and families share membership accounts, our members would appreciate if the secondary email address holder also had login credentials to access their profiles to renew membership, edit information, etc.
Thanks for considering.6 votes
