  1. Larger store image should open in new browser window

    When a visitor is on a Wild Apricot store page, and they click on the image to view the larger image view, the image should open in a NEW window.

    Currently, when the visitor closes the larger image view in their browser, as it opens in the same window, it closes them out of the website completely. Having to click the back button in the browser won't be obvious to most visitors.

    Having the image open in a new browser window will make the user experience better and will keep the visitor (shopper) on the site.

  2. Q&A forum, let anybody create a topic, but only a subset of members can reply

    Hi,

    We'd like to create a Q&A style forum, where any of our members can ask questions (ie, create topics), but only a subset of our members with expertise can answer the questions (ie, reply to topics). Is this a permission option that could be added to the forum feature?

  3. Display the contact's photo on the mobile Event Check-In page.

    Display the contact's photo on the mobile Event Check-In page.

    This would be very helpful when our greeters are approached by new members for event check-in. They wouldn't need to ask for the member's name if they could see the photos for all the registrants on the check-in page.

  4. Admin notification for Stop Recurring Payments action by member

    Create an automated administrator notification triggered when a member stops recurring payments.

    Our member managers do not see this until the paid membership period is over and it may be too late to reach out to the member to see if any problems need to be resolved.

  5. reference files by uid

    File references in Wild Apricot show the full path to the file in the websites file structure. Revealing such internal structure is a security risk. For example, it makes it easier for outsiders to scan the file/directory structure looking for files with inappropriate/inadequate security settings.
    Our former platform, Groupspaces, used UIDs to refer to files (e.g. in links). This has the added advantage of allowing files to be relocated in the file hierarchy (or even renamed) without breaking existing references (see https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/8822545-automatically-update-existing-links-when-page-is-r)

  6. Report of all income

    I need to be able to generate a report which gives me the TOTAL amount received from a SINGLE member, including donations and receipts from invoices. The only reports I can find only sort by category. The reason is that we are a 501c3 and all contributions are considered to be donations, even those which are payments for membership fees. It would be great if I could see how much every member has paid on the member page, but that page only shows total DONATIONS.   8. Make event guest name visible when they are a Member

    Make the names of event guests visible on the "public" view of the Calendar. Currently only the name of the member doing the registration shows up, even if their "guest "is a registered Member ( usually a spouse), the guest name does not appear, simply the mention "+1 guest".

  9. De-confuse wording please!

    Happy New Year!
    This is a suggestion for a simple wording change. EVERY person I have taught to use WA gets confused by the existing wording:

    After clicking Email > Templates and selecting a particular template, newbies ALWAYS make the mistake of selecting "Edit Template" instead of "Send email" because they fear that "Send email" means the message is all ready to be sent!

    This confusion can be avoided by changing "Send email" to "Create email" or better: "New email using template"

    Donations:
    Permit "$0.00 value for In-kind donations. Presently, we are forced to place a monetary value in the "Amount" tab.
    It would be nice to make the site more nonprofit/church friendly. Thank you.

  11. Send renewal reminder blasts on demand and specific date

    We decided to send a renewal reminder email blast today because we had volunteers available to assist members and answer questions via website live chat support. Changing the number of days for a reminder to be sent before the due date to today did not trigger the email blast. Apparently that number needs to be entered at least the day before. Planning ahead is one thing, being able to take advantage of a good opportunity is another. Additionally, It would be helpful to have the ability to pick the exact date for a blast to go out rather than count…

  12. Cancelled guests on guest lists

    I'm working on my guest list for next week and I have to say, it's rather frustrating that when I export the guest list from WA that it keeps all the registrations that were canceled on my excel spreadsheet, do you know why it does that?

  13. Final monitor before email blasts

    Is there a way that someone can be setup as an email administrator - meaning give the final OK before emails go out? Mostly interested when events don't use the right groups and end up sending to all our contacts! YIKES. It looks like there is an email administrators button but it is not active for me as the overall administrator. Thanks for any help if this is already something that is available.     in the email editor, I tried to insert a file. It worked OK, except it only showed me a portion of the file names. I had to exit and go to Files to determine which one I wanted.

  16. Search products

    Please consider:
    In the products portion of the store there needs to be a way to search for products. This could be accomplished by either the tags used for the catague displays or by meta words used in the product name description. I'm sure there are other options as well.
    Using ctrl F, is not user friendly, but is better than nothing.

  17. Thank You note in Event section

    A thank you note for the Event section. We just completed an event last night and I wanted to thank those who attending for coming. I used a Reminder email but had to change the registration date in order activate the emails. Once the event is completed we are unable to use the emails in the Event section to address the people who have attended. I would like Wild Apricot to include a Thank You option with the event emails.

  19. We would like to address rejoining members separately from renewing

    According to the way we’ve been operating:

    1. A new member is someone who has never been a member before; WA is set up for that. WA generates an e-mail response welcoming new members.
    2. A renewing member is someone who was a member in the previous calendar year (renewal due 12/15), but renews any time from 12/15 to 12/14 (e.g., 12/15/18 - 12/14/19). WA is set up for that. WA generates an e-mail response thanking a member for renewing.

  20. Hide Custom Event Fields

    Event Custom Fields - add the ability to “hide” custom fields from the Registration Form. This would allow options that have “Sold Out” to be removed from the form but still allow the data to be retained and reported.
