Admin login to user account
I've had numerous opportunities recently to resolve event registration and payment issues with clients.
I deal with non-member contacts and with members at a dozen different membership levels whose memberships are in various states of completion or default. I have to try to explain to them how to navigate the system without having any real clue as to what they are seeing. Every now and again someone supplies their password and I can log in as they do only to find a world very different from what I expected.
Can you please provide us with a way to see the…

Discount Coupon Codes Reporting
We are using discount coupon codes both to drive attendance at events and to drive membership. Our marketing model incentivizes the sales reps who call on our target audience to sell our events and memberships. When someone uses that rep's code, they get an incentive payment.
Currently the only way to track who used a given code is to manually open each code and report on it. This becomes quite burdensome with 40 or 50 sales reps involved.
We would request an upgrade that consolidates the reporting for these -- either:
A discount coupon report that shows the member name,…

Creating More Dynamic Web Pages - Database API Required?
I would like to be able to pull individual data fields from the contact database and insert them dynamically within my content. This would, I feel, make pages more dynamic, reduce my workload, allow a high level of personaliation of member content and, I feel, enable member websites to become a little more sticky, creative and innovative. What do you think?
For example, I'd like to personalise content for each chapter/member but the content would be the same for each chapter/member. With the current system every time I create a new piece of content I then have to dupliate that…

Random photo gadget
A gadget to show one random photo from a selected photo album. The photo could be sized as needed and optionally linked to show the larger image in the album. Optionally, it could have subtext displaying the name of the member that contributed it.

Drop Down Menu for Extra Cost
I have spent about 15 days developing a site for my clients that provide a mountain bike demo event in Moab utah. Our participants can select from approximately 40 different bikes to demo in three separate events. Each bike carries separate demo charges.
We desperately need a drop down menu that will designate separate costs when selected. I am frantically attempting to create workarounds to get over this problem. But it is proving to be difficult.
My clients are very upset with this setback. Is there any way this can be custom built into my cart? Or any great ideas…

Customizing event registration emails by tags
We have several event categories as well as several event managers. They all receive event registrations for all events. In a future update can you set a customizable event registration that can be filtered by event tags instead of a broad based all event email registration receipt. For example, we have social events, race events, junior events and a crane pad reservation calendar. There is an event manager for each of these categories. If there is a registration for a dinner (social event)… the race, junior and crane event managers all get the social event notification and vice versa. My…

Customizing the donation confirmation page
Hello,
Two suggestions for the donation confirmation / receipt page that a person gets after they make an online donation:
1) Make the page include the name of the organization that the person donated to. Currently, the page shows the date and amount of the donation, but not the name of the organization. Donors will want to have that info for their records.
2) Make it possible for administrators to customize this page.
Thanks!

Send automatic emails for manual admin actions
This is a relatively minor request but something I find to be a workflow pain. As an admin, when I add a new member to the database the new member activation email does not automatically get sent out to the new member if I set their status to 'Active' initially. I have to add the member in two steps to get the email to go out -- first add them as 'pending', save it, then either go back into their record and record receipt of their payment or change their status from 'pending' to 'active' to trigger the email.
It…

Logout button for widget mode
My site is http://cityfitlist.com/.
I currently use the widget feature for members/profiles.But how do I add a log out without making the member go to their profile, scrolling down to find it?
Also,I want to add a retricted access page for a certain level of members using the "widget box" but don't want the links from the wildapricot site to pop up too.

Field for Contractual Terms on Renewals
Hello,
My organization is new to Wild Apricot and I've imported our current database into Wild Apricot. I currently have the Field for Contractual Terms set as "No" for all our members and would like them to be required to check the box every time they renew (annually). Currently the field only allows the member to acknowledge the field during application or at any time in their profile (why would any administrator allow a member to remove their acknowledgement whenever they choose in their profile). Is there a way to require that members check the box once a year (at…

Assign Resources to Events
It would be helpful to assign resources to events, such as conference room, equipment, boat to be used, instructor name, speaker name. Currently the only attributes are location and date/time.

Integrated Spell Checker should be included in service
For a paid service that is used to communicate with members, the ability to spell check email notices should be considered a basic capability of the WA service. I should not require customers to use a third-party add-on for their browser.
Spelling errors in communications can damage an organization's credibility and Wild Apricot should consider this a basic feature that helps its customers. In 2024, this should not be an optional feature.

Match Font Families in Different Editors
I am fine with the limited selection of font families, with long experience working on the web before we had all the web fonts. What I'm really struggling with is matching font families and general styling between the new editor and the older automatic email editor.
For example, our chosen website theme uses Open Sans. Great all around sans serif font. I can also use it in manual emails so that they are styled much like our website. But automatic emails do not have a similar or even decent sans serif font ('Basic' is just ugly) so I chose Trebuchet.…

Always display members' auto-renewal status on account
We need something prominent displaying on member accounts whether or not they are enrolled in auto-renew. We get hundreds of queries a year from members who can't tell if they're enrolled in auto-renewal or not after they've removed their payment info. There's nothing then displaying "You are no longer enrolled in auto-renewal" or confirming that they need to manually renew--and what's worse, there's still a line on their accounts that displays the membership level as having auto-renew enabled.
Members do not need to know that their membership level has auto-renewal enabled! They only need to know if they are individually…

I would like to have default "Country" already selected by Admin so the customers don't have to choose "Country" every time.

Pop-up alert reminder to update the profile
Issue: Members do not update their profile
Possible Solution:
A pop-up alert prompting members to update their profile ... this might appear upon logging in for the first time in a calendar year. This will direct them to their profile and towards the end of the page, they would be requried to confirm their details. If they do not edit/confirm their details, they will be unable to proceed with booking of events and payment of the subscription fee.

PayPal Checkout Needs Better Integration
The previous PayPal system provided the ability for Quickbooks to capture transactions due to "tags" added in the descriptions of transactions, thus automated bookkeeping was possible. The new system provides none of this and each transaction needs to be fixed manually. As our treasurer says, "it's like returning to the 1980s."

better themes
The themes are nice but somewhat outdated. Why not use the designer who did your "freetrial" landing page? (see attached screenshot) A few nice landing pages like your very own landing page would get me more excited to join. Please send samples if this gets legs under it. Thanks.

Product Tag Central List
The Online Store products have the ability to group them by meaningful tags. These tags are nice for breaking the products into meaningful customer groups.
However, manual tag entry must be an exact match which is error prone to maintain and very difficult to correct.
It would be nice to have a pull-down list of tags that can be controlled centrally when new products are added to the store. This would make it much easier to enter and make the web page presentation dynamic. See
