Event History Analysis
Reporting. Analysis of all event history. I would like to pull all the past event history of Registrations vs Attendance. Members vs Guests for each individual event. Without having to pull reports individually. export to an Excel spreadsheet. Comparison from year to year / month to month / etc. If in an Excel Export then I would be able to create Pivot Table summaries of what worked and what did not on topics, etc.

A true form-based Content Management System
For Email and Event entry, we need a true Content Management System -- where novice end-users can enter text and it is automatically dropped into a template that we design. You try explaining to some of our members why centered text is more readable; I've given up! And there are a lot of browser and mail-client quirks that need to be addressed expertly. They occur even if the HTML editor is never used, and they should not require HTML editing to fix. For example, your CSS image margin specs are totally ignored by Outlook 2010 and other mail clients. It takes way, way too long to create a major event "past events and coming attractions" newsletter. Your stock templates are only three levels deep, and if we insert an event description macro, the email must include the entire web page description (in appropriate for an email!). I could go on and on as to why it takes all day to work out the kinks in a robust newsletter. I shouldn't have to.

Just before importing, display example table of import data fields
Display 5 or 6 examples lines of imported data, BEFORE actually importing. Reason: Somehow the phone numbers failed to import, even though I thought I'd checked everything carefully. Seeing a table of sample data for several records would have clearly shown me that the phone number column was empty.

Force first login to shutdown if a second login is attempted
Members can't reset password, since the browser they are using saved some data that makes WA think they are still logged in. This is a very difficult problem to explain to many people and Clearing their Cache is not a thing they do often. Since they can be using any of a number of browsers and versions it makes it hard and time consuming to help them.
Rather than WA reporting an error, I think it would be better to force close anything that is causing this duplicate login problem.
I'm far from an expert here but this is a very difficult problem to troubleshoot with the user. An alternative option would be for the Administrator to be able break any perceived duplicate login session.Members can't reset password, since the browser they are using saved some data that makes WA think they are still logged in. Backup/Restore Events
Recently, a new WA admin mistakenly deleted our "gala" event with over 100 registrants - just a few days before the event.
Currently, WA Support cannot restore the event (or any events) - nor will a site backup recover the events. At best, WA Support Level II is hoping to recover some data...
This situation is probably not significant with respect to frequency. However, depending on the Event it can have a significant impact on a non-profit collecting funds, managing an event, and the perception regarding same.
Clearly, this situation can and has put WA and folks supporting same in a bad position. IMHO, being able to restore Events is a critical need for all - especially when the unknowing shoot themselves in the foot.
Please help raise the attention level of this most important & needed WA feature - ability to restore events.

Allow dual conditions for access to membership areas. You must be in the selected membership type but not in this group list.
Would allow you to restrict problem members from accessing membership areas until the problem is resolved. Program would check if they are in a specified membership type but would also check that they are NOT in the named group. This could also be in the positive mode by Requiring them to be in specific group list.

Export templates: save and reuse columns to export
Allow several templates to be created in the Export registrants in each Event. You currently can either export all information (a button) of pick each thing that you want to export. To make the program easier for novices to use, we need the webmaster to create standard export templates/reports. Currently a set of instructions need to be given to new users on exactly which buttons to select to get the exact export report we need.

Variable cost events
- In the Upcoming Events gadget, you should be able to NOT show multiple sessions for a multi-session event, just the event itself.
- For event payments, it would be good to have an option that doesn't have a fixed price, but allows the price to be calculated (e.g. number of classes x cost per class, where the classes are sessions of a single event).

Change word "Registration" to "Reservation"
Allow rewording of "Registration is Closed." We do not always begin an event's reservations period as soon as it is posted. Saying registration is closed can be misinterpreted as meaning the event is full. This, people won't come back when reservations actually open. Let us substitute "Registration is not yet open" or "Registrations begin (date)" or omit it altogether. And while your at it, let us say "reservations" not "registration"; it's the word we've used for decades, the person who takes reservations is the Reservationist (who ever heard of a "Registrationist"?) and we think it's friendlier. Not every event is an auction.

Improve Sharing Buttons Gadget
I would like the Sharing Buttons gadget improved in two ways:
(1) I would like more sharing buttons than what is currently available (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+). To add more, I was referred to https://www.addtoany.com/buttons/for/website and advised to copy the HTML code for the additional buttons that I wanted and then copy and paste that code into the Custom HTML gadget. Rather than all Wild Apricots clients having to do that, I would like WA to add additional buttons that could be selected using the Sharing Buttons gadget, preferably all the ones available on the site they referred me to, but at minimum more of the most common sharing and saving buttons, including a button for emailing and printing.
(2) Currently, when using a sharing button, only the URL to the page is shared. I would like some of the CONTENT on the page be shared (for example, the title and first 2-3 sentences of a blog post), like when using a sharing button in WordPress. This would give the recipient a "teaser" and increase the chances that he/she would click on the link to the website.

Wordpress login widget: redirect page on logout
The Wordpress login widget allows us to select a page to load on login...can we also have that option for a page to load on logout?
The issue we're having is users logging out while viewing private bbPress forums -- the page reloads and they get a 404. Unfortunately we can't fix this with a WA restricted shortcode because it's one of the forum topics, not a page we can edit.

Fields in Registration Forms
Fields in Registration Forms need a "disable" option so we can cut off sign-ups for paper submission (academic conference) three or so weeks before the event, and also cut off sign-ups for meals a few days before the event (because of caterer deadlines). Right now the only way to handle this is to backup the registration data (i.e., put it into "Excel Hell") and then delete the field, thus loosing the data it held. Better yet would be to have a date-specified cutoff such as is available for Registration Types.

Event Promo section for each Event that can be customized and included as a macro
- In an automatic promo email, is there a macro or something that will insert either just the first part of an Event’s description, or a shorter description we would custom-write (different for each event)? The reason for this is that some events have very long, detailed descriptions that would be inappropriate for a promo email, and/or disclose “too much” in the email. Often our aim is to drive them to the site for more information. But there is no macro that we can use, and we found no workaround, other than writing custom copy for each and every automatic email.

Single Comprehensive Itemized Income Report
Would like to see a more robust and comprehensive reporting feature for monthly income—something that would be sufficient to deliver to the treasurer so they can post totals to QB. For example, would like to create excel report that displays all of the invoice options and payment status options for a specific period, but in one report (membership, donations, manual invoices, fully paid, partially paid, unpaid. These would need to be itemized. I don't need the graphs, just the subtotals.

If email failure rate is high, notify admin and/or sender
If an e-blast has an unusually high failure rate, notify the webmaster and/or the sender.
The notification should include instructions on how to see the failures and the error messages, how to discover the reason for a failure, and how to resend to the failed addresses.
The failure rate and who to notify could be user-configurable but should not default to nobody.
And URLs in the displayed Failure Text should be clickable.
This suggestion comes from having discovered that 15% of our e-blast last night was rejected by AOL and Yahoo. The error messages suggested resending, which worked. But if I hadn't stumbled over the failure rate while snooping around, I would never have known that we hadn't reached 15% of our members.
(Note also this related notification suggestion. https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/16272703-notify-administrator-about-disabled-email-delivery )

Add event detail to financial invoice reporting
Under financial reports/income - if a payment is made for an event, list the event (not just "event"). We have numerous trips and need to drill down on each to determine what trip is being paid for.
