Support for Voting on Forum Posts
Similar ideas have been posted here before, see https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/34133521-thumbs-up-in-forum and https://forums.wildapricot.com/forums/308932-wishlist/suggestions/9904584-idea-management-voting-system-gadget. However, these presuppose the develpoment of new functionality, and the latter is evidently considered already addressed by the "Polls" feature. However, this is not the case. The polls require a fixed list of options, all of which are known in advance and determined by an administrator. What we need is exactly the voting functionality of this Wishlist forum, which is open-ended and encourages user participation. We already have two forum categories where this would be useful:
Website Wishlist: We could prioritize improvements to our website better with some user feedback, just as Wild Apricot does with this forum.
Event Ideas: Our members have a lot of ideas for events, but participation is often thin. upload privleges
I don't know if this has been requested previously but is would be great if it was possible to set the folders that those with limited Admin access (eg Activities Admin) can use. I keep telling and showing those Admins where to upload their pictures for events and newsletters that they create, but they are loading them in multiple places and then I have to clean them up which is a tedious process.
Can access be set to a user account, so that I can easily restrict which folders they can or cannot use?

Product is not visible in the catalog but available for selling
I would like to be able to have products that are not visible via an Online Store but that I could send a direct link to the customer for checkout. Is there any way to do this?

macro for all membership levels
I'd like a macro that can be used to display ALL membership levels and prices. This way when I sent out for example renewal notices, I can simply include the macro to let members know what levels are available.
Currently we must hand-edit 8 different email templates every year, as well as update multiple sections of the website that list membership information. This is because rates change every year. It is incredibly annoying, it is prone to error, and it could be easily solved via a simple Macro which pulls out our account's member level names, prices, and other info, from the backend database.

Popup box
Please add an option to create a popup box on a page. We'd love to have popup boxes serve as event highlight/reminders, or as a way to get folks to sign up to access content that's downloadable only.

HST Charges
HST must be charged on basis of where the product or service is provided. If we hold an event in Ontario then this needs to have 13% HST applied but the current system appears to use different locations (and rules) maybe based on address of customer, address of registered credit card??
The system does not comply with CRA guidelines at this point and needs to be fixed2 votes -
Multiple registration codes per registration type
Permit more than one registration code per registration type.
Currently there is only one code allowed per type. For some events, I may have registration categories for "vendor" or "speaker", who all share the same code. If I want to limit the number of uses per vendor, there is no way to do that without setting up multiple registration types per vendor, which gets unwieldy (and ugly) very quickly.
As a use case, I may have two vendors with one entitled to bring four participants and one entitled to bring two participants, with nothing preventing either from adding more than they are permitted. Instead, allow me to set up a registration code per vendor with a limit on how many they can bring.
This could be combined with another proposal “Discount coupons for event registrations” which has been an outstanding request since 2008 so that instead of setting up multiple registrations, I just offer different codes that would be limited by number of uses. Show ticket type in member app
Registration Ticket Type needs to be included in the member app in similar fashion as it is in ADMIN. We use Ticket type to segregate registrations for an event that may have multiple race distances. Currently from the member app, you can see who has signed up but cannot distinguish which race everyone is in. The admin app does show these registration ticket types (though it too is lacking any kind of filtering/sorting capability). Registration ticket type could further be used to distinguish other types of categories within the registration such as VIP vs regular, host vs guest vs general attendee, member vs visitor....many useful ways IF these registration ticket types were VIEWABLE by all!

donations
Recurring donations - Not being able to change where a donors money went at their request is an UPMIFA violation and prevents nonprofit organizations from being in compliance. It has to do with restricted and unrestricted gifts and is really a huge issue being missed by WA that prevents organizations from being in compliance with their donor requests to have funds restricted or unrestricted. You can change them on non-recurring payments, but being prevented from editing current or past recurring donations is a huge issue.

Barcode on Membership Cards
Barcodes on Membership Cards - I would like to see barcodes added to the membership cards so we can verify 1) they are a member; 2) their membership is current; 3) how many people are covered under their membership so we can charge for additional guests. So the barcode would be used to pull up a particular member in WA in real-time at check-in. Does this already exist? And if so, how do we activate it?

Searching Contacts - Return/Enter key
Please allow users to press "return" or "enter" after typing a search term in the Simple Search function of Contacts.
Background:
When searching contacts, most people in my organization find it to be an act of muscle memory to use the Return/Enter key after typing what we are searching for. For instance, if we are searching for John Smith, we will generally type "Smith" and then press return. However, pressing return brings you to the place where you enter a new contact, regardless of what we typed into the search field before pressing return.
Although we realize that we should not press return, decades of data entry is making this hard for us to remember. This makes searching for a contact take twice as long as it should most of the time. When doing multiple searches, it makes the entire process completely tedious.

Automatic Event Reminders
Allow reminders to be sent only to confirmed registrants who have paid. When people register but don't pay, they should not be considered registrants.

Is there a way to filter out those members who already purchased an item from the reminder email?
- I will like to send out an email reminder about deadline to purchase item from the store. Is there a way to filter out those members who already purchased an item from the reminder email?
- On the store order page is there a way when I get the items to do a select all to marked fulfilled.

Inlcude weekday names along with date in the mobile app
Please include the weekday name along with the date in the WildApricot mobile app. Currently, it displays, "25 Feb 2024". I would like to display it as "Sat, Feb 25, 2024". This would greatly help members using the WildApricot Member App to figure out which weekday an event starts.

Discounts for recurring membership
We would like to be able to offer discount codes to both new members and renewing members, and just found out we can't do that with recurring memberships, which is extremely limiting as that is the only level we offer. I also think that the restrictions should be posted on the page where you create the discount codes as I set one up and let some people know about it before discovering we can't actually use it.

Pin edit tools to the top when editing Event details so it doesn't scroll with the text
Please pin the edit tools to the top of the Event details so they don't scroll out of sight when scrolling the details themselves. I'm having to scroll down to select the text, then back up to the top to use the edit tools and then back down to continue editing, and on and on and on.

Agreement before payment to renew membership
Every year between January 1st and March 31st is the time for membership renewal. This current website doesn't have something to ask members before their payment to make sure members agree to adhere... It must be done once every year. It is really important for my association and communities out there. Is it possible to add something under Members > Levels > Renewal policy? This way we can choose specific groups that are required to click on it with a link to agree BEFORE their payment. The link will bring them to read the agreement on a separate page. When members are ready to click on to renew, first they will see and read the agreement. Once they agree, they add a checkmark and then they can pay for their membership renewal. If they do not agree, they cannot go ahead with payment. We do not require their signature because once their payment is received which means they have agreed to adhere... Date and timestamp would be nice or if you have any other idea that verify their agreement would be great. It would be good that we make our own wordings without limited space. Please note, not all membership levels need to adhere the agreement, for example subscribers - not active working individuals. Some of membership level groups are required and others aren't. I would appreciate it very much if you can improve. Thank you.

Fix the accounting period linked to billing date
Fix the accounting period for billing.
Currently the system forces invoices to be produced days or weeks in advance of renewal dates to avoid issues with account status. For example for annual renewal due on January 1 and delinquent on January 31, the invoices should be generated and sent at least 30 days in advance. But the invoice date then is in December or November of the previous year, and the accounting will reflect the income in the wrong year!
There are several ways to fix that, but please do. One way for example is to add an invoice due date and let us decide if the invoice date or the invoice due date is generating the income.Fix the accounting period for billing.

Polls update - see anon participants but not their entries
Client would like polls to have a feature where anon responses can still record WHO voted without seeing their responses. This is to verify that they actually voted.
