  1. Tracking Continuing Education Points (CEU, CEC, CPD, CPU)

    There is currently no special functionality for tracking Continuing Education points/credits in Wild Apricot. It is possible to track these via custom admin-only fields but this requires manual process. We are considering adding this functionality in the future and would appreciate details on how these are typically tracked by our clients.

  2. Tracking Event Volunteers

    A huge part of our non-profit's activities involve not only sponsoring events and managing event registrations, but also (just as importantly if not moreso) signing up volunteers to help with these events. There are a few different types of volunteers typically.

    (1) General volunteers who sign up to help plan the event. There may be different subsets in this category. For example, our annual Spring Fair is a major event that recruits volunteers for the Food Committee, Decorating Committee, Entertainment Committee, PR Committee, etc.

  3. Wild Apricot in other languages

    Current behavior:
    Wild Apricot administration is only available in English. Websites and emails can use different languages, but system pages and gadgets may contain some uneditable English text.

    Desired behavior:
    Support different language sets, which will update all labels to the selected language.

  4. Ability to track volunteer hours

    We are a swim club:

    It would be fabulous if we could have members submit their volunteer hours on the website. Once approved (yes, they were there) by event organizer, the total volunteer hours would be tracked with their membership info. The administrator could query how many volunteer hours each member has put in.

    We require that each family donate 40 hours to the club per year or pay a higher membership fee.

  5. Court, room or equipment reservation system

    Provide a scheduling/reservation widget that makes it possible for "members" of our website (and based on their membership level) to reserve "resources" on a first-come, first-served basis.

    * A resource is anything (such as a conference room, laptop, iPad, projector, etc.) that you would like to schedule on a first-come, first-served basis.

    • Leverage current “membership level” feature to allow members to reserve a resource listed in their “membership level”. For instance, some members will have the rights to reserve a laptop but not an iPad.

    • Only administrators can add a resource to a “membership level”.

  6. Gift Memberships for the holidays, birthdays and special occasions.

    Allow one person so set-up and pay for membership and "gift it" to someone else. Currently there is a workaround be setting up a Google form, and then our admin creates the invoice. Its too much manual work and payment is not smooth. Would be best if WA had an new membership workflow, with online payment and it generated a simple gift certificate for the person to give to the recipient. Other orgs (zoo, museums, etc...) have this function.

  7. Sponsor/Advertiser Management Module

    We would like to sell ad space in our footer and/or header areas to sponsors and other advertisers.

    While it is possible to do this manually, with separate billing etc., it would be very helpful to have a tool to manage the process, including:

    • receipt and storage of an ad or logo
    • scheduling of its presentation (ie start date, stop date, duration etc)
    • selection of which pages it would appear on
    • billing and collection via credit card

    As for many organizations, I am sure this wouild provide a means of cost-effectively generating revenues and site traffic.

    Ad’s management is a huge business with strong players, so building something competitive will cost us a fortune. There is quite low probability that we will take it into development in the nearest future.

    For simple cases we recommend to use existing CMS functionality to inject ad’s into site pages. In case if you need precise control on what and when should be shown, then we recommend to integrate 3-rd party solutions.

  8. Inventory/Asset management

    Hi,

    My organization has a library that we allow members to check out from every month. With that said I was hoping for 2 things.

    1) an inventory database to keep track of our media (I can see this also being useful for other things such as equipment we own or donation items we get and then give)

    2) the capability to connect members to an item. this would allow us to track who checked something out and automatically send out reminder emails to members and what they have checked out (currently this is all done my hand each month…

  9. Cancel button to replace Register button for already registered members

    Most of our members are seniors and not particularly tech savvy and they are finding it hard to cancel registrations. Is there any way I can add a Cancel button under the "Already registered" link. Or better yet replace the "Register" or Join Waitlist" button with a Cancel button

  10. Search for File names

    Search function within Website ->Files
    It would save a lot of time if I could type in a word in a search box on the Files and come up with a list of files that contain that word . Since moving files often makes website broken links, we tend to leave them where they were first uploaded, but that sometimes makes it hard to find photos and documents we want to post on the internet.   11. Implement a chat button or feature on website for interaction with public

    Implementing a chat button or feature - mainly on the website for us - allowing the public to interact with someone in the office would be convenient, useful and helpful. As per your own chat functionality, it is becoming more and more prevalent and a preferred way for people to communicate. This would be preferable to integrating a 3rd party app such as Integromat via a partner and any potential associated additional costs to us.

  12. Email & Social Media Intigration

    Add powerful email templates to your system with large image upload capability, and integrate social media posting. Should not have to use third-party email providers for email blasting and social media posting. Even if you charge additional $ as an add on to your current product/subscription you should still be offering it as most competitors do. Drip Campaigns is another feature that is very popular. Allows for great communication to clients, members, etc.

  13. We'd like to issue gift certificates through our web site.

    We are an aquatic center, and people (both members and non-members) often give one of our training programs to friend and family. We're currently handling this manually.

    Requirements are:
    - Giver can purchase gift certificate on web site.
    - System will capture contact (giver) information + recipient information (name, email address, phone for both)
    - System will generate and provide unique serial number for each certificate.
    - System will email gift certificate to giver
    - System will accept serial number as payment when recipient enrolls in program.

    It would be greatly beneficial to be able to create additional databases within Wild Apricot for use by our Members. For example, as a writers organization, we would like to create a database our members could access to post the rights information for any stories they've written without having to use an outside service.

    Current behavior:
    All organizations have tasks tied to recurring deadlines (pay taxes collect dues, etc). Specific people need to be apprised and reminded of these deadlines, and need to have the ability to designate the task as having been completed. At present, the system provides no way to assign and follow up on these tasks.

  16. Have Extended Membership Statistics

    I would like to see an "Extended Membership Statistics" page in the Admin Control Panel where the member database data is displayed in visual layout charts as we know from Facebook "Insights" and Google "Analytics". All displayed in a Graph, Pie or Bar Diagram like it is already used for the Wild Apricot Financial Report System.

    Based on the membership data fields like "Date of Birth" you could display the distribution of age in an association/club

  17. Functionality to generate physical letters

    My organization is not going to go entirely digital. I need to generate the occasional physical letter. The idea is that in addition to being able to generate ad-hoc emails, I want to be able to generate ad-hoc physical mailings. But they are not really ad-hoc; they correspond to points in my organization's processes that do not map to WildApricot. I want to store templates for these letters in WildApricot; when the need arises, I would like to be able to ask WildApricot to instantiate a template I pick for a member I pick.   18. Redirect to a Custom Page after Event registration

    Ability to redirect registerants to a custom landing page after they register for an event so we can track online ad conversions.
    As an event management system, we need the ability to monitor which of our marketing strategies are converting and driving people to register for your events. Not having this is a massive impact to our Marketing Team budget
