  2. Improve sign-ups for emails and email address changes

    I need a gadget and web site button HTML code to allow people to sign up for email notifications and newsletters. (This would cover people who wish to receive email, but who do not want to become full members yet).

    Secondly, we often receive requests from members to change their email addresses. This is very time consuming. Making them log in and change it is silly -- most people won't do that, and it also requires them to keep track of login credentials and read the documentation.

  3. Submenus direction

    The last two dropdown menu items on the horizontal menu should have submenus fly out to the left, rather than the right, as shown in this screenshot. Because the dropdown menu is so close to the edge of the browser window, the text is cutoff and unreadable to users. Thanks!

  4. Separation between menu items "Edit" & "Move to trash"

    In Admin mode Webpage the menu items "Edit" and "Move to trash" are adjacent and subject to selection of "Move to trash" inadvertently instead of "Edit". Particularly with smaller and touch screen devices.

    Suggest relocate the "Move to Trash" menu item a bit further to the right.

  5. Email members when new information is posted on website

    It would be great to sent up a email system when new information is posted to the website. So if a item was added it would send a email letting members know that a new item was added rather then having them constantly checking for new information

    Thank you for the suggestion. Currently waiting for more comments/suggestions/votes, before we can act on this request.
    On a related note, we are working on adding more trending reports into Wild Apricot – which may deliver some of the benefits that a Tableau integration would offer.

  7. Custom fields with multiple parts and "add another" functionality

    Enhance custom fields on members and contacts to support tracking of complex, variable length data. For example, we need to track the name, gender, and birthday of our members children. To do this we have one field where they enter all the names and then 5 different date fields. This is awkward all around. We don't have the data connected accurately because it's stored separately. And then if a member only has 1 or 2 kids there are extra fields hanging around. The search displays and directory widget displays are limited to 3 fields per column so we the data…

  8. On Contact details, move custom internal use fields up above the auto-generated system notes

    Please move the internal fields up above the auto-generated Notes on the Contact details tab. I have a number of internal use custom fields that I have to scroll way down to see. It's super annoying! Would love for my custom fields to appear first. Thank you!

  9. Adding name and address to Printable Membership Card file

    The new membership cards are great. I would like to have the ability to modify the printable PDF file. Similar to the way we can "customize default membership emails" I would like have the ability to add the name and address to the printable file, so the membership administrator could print and mail out the card in a window envelope. Currently we export a members information and merge it in a Word Document, many steps and cumbersome. All that would be necessary would be the name and address. See attached file highlighted in yellow

  10. Underline is Stuck!

    In writing emails, when text is formatting to Underline, it stays set permanently. When you select underline again to remove the current underline....you can't change it. Looks like a glitch. Can someone fix?

  12. Create Video Album

    I would like to have a video album, so I can store videos and use a gadget to display them (similar to photos). I recognize that the Wildapricot photo album is very small, probably due to expense. Is that why we don't yet have a video album?

  13. Multiple event gadgets on same page

    I want to have two or more event gadgets on the same page, filtered by different tags.

    Example. I'd want a calendar for events sponsored by our neighborhood. Then I'd want a separate calendar for events sponsored by city-wide groups such as the book fair, or science fair, City alders, Mayor, Arts group.

  15. Display selective details on upcoming events gadget in public view

    When member events are created, the location information is also shared in the public view. This is concerning as this is sensitive information and must not be shared to the general public.
    Currently, my work around has been to create events to not display the locations and use filter to display them on my home page to provide as an incentive for prospective members.

    Can there be an option where I can select what information is to be shared in the public view vs when a member is logged in, especially for location.

  16. Administrators should control the 'Show registrants who want to be listed' setting for Events

    The admin should control how the 'Show registrants who want to be listed' option works.

    For example,
    They have hidden member only event, where they want to display the total number of registrants to other members (it should not be an option to their members but rather the organisation to control what get displayed or not)

    I would like to have had the option of setting up the registration criteria within the even registration using both the ‘members only’ and a ‘special code’ option. The event set up allows for only 1 option to be chosen at this time. Maybe in the next upgrade???

  18. Include initial description along with Forum Title

    It seems that every other forum I have used always lists the initial description with the title of the Forum Topic at the top. Replies to the topic are listed below. Your own WA support forums work that way!!

    The current forum gadget treats the initial description the same as one of the replies, so that it may appear at the top or bottom . depending on your settings. This is a problem and should be fixed.

  19. Obscure an event organizer's email address in event email announcements.

    Currently if an event is announced using the event email settings the organizer's email address will go to all recipients. The only way to protect the email address of the organizer is require that the event organizer be listed using a more generic administrative email address but this will reroute all event email reports on registration away from the organizer as well.

    This proposal is that there be an option to use the admin email return address but to include a hyperlink to the organizer's personal message system contact web page.

  20. subscription for updated photos

    Social forums are great. Users can subscribe and get an update anytime something changes in their topic(s) of interest.

    We need the same concept for uploaded Photos. Each Member can subscribe to get updates any time a new photo is updated in a specific album/page.

    By having this, Members would be automatically sent updates that they can visit the website. Sometimes, a little prodding is good to help with adoption AND this is when something NEW has been added. Going to a site and viewing all of the albums looking for new photos can be a waste of time.
