Automatic email for waitlist cancellation
We use the waitlist to allow people to register for an event, setting the event limit to 1, and entering one bogus registration. This lets us vet the applicants, and choose who to register.
But we have to MANUALLY email everyone who isn't going to get an invite. Would be good if when we REMOVE from waitlist a person gets a standard auto email to tell them.3 votes -

Customize Member Login portal to include Terms of Waiver option
How does one get members (like auto renewal members) to accept newly created terms that fall outside of the renewal life cycle?
While I understand the logic of having it tied to the renewal event, I am suggesting that there be a method to force the acceptance at next login vs. solely tied to renewal. This is a common practice on many websites today.

Inclusion of VAT (GST etc) on automated receipt
At the moment your automated receipts do not show the VAT figure and therefore do not comply with our law in the UK - or indeed across Europe and elsewhere. Doing this should be eminently possible your end - I can get it to include the VAT figure by e-mailing a receipt manually, but why should I have to do this? I raised this issue at least 2 years ago and am disappointed that this relatively simple addition has not yet been introduced.

Multiple Event email notification recipients.
I would like to be able to assign more that one person email notifications for events manually.
We have more than one event coordinator and not all of them want to receive emails for every event registration.1 vote -
Breadcrumbs on Product page
It would be very useful to have the Breadcrumbs gadget work from individual product pages so that customers can navigate back to the section list. For now I have followed the suggestion to add a link to the Online Store Product System page.

clarify when editing event email template
I was going through a specific event and modifying emails as appropriate when suddenly I'm flipped into editing event templates without knowing it. It starts prompting me to save for current default template or for all upcoming events emails.
Something is confusing about the process here. How I got into modifying the templates instead of the event specific emails is beyond me. I believe you need to have much clearer designation that you are editing templates rather than specific event emails. Perhaps when going into edit templates, you could pop a warning that it is a template and not an event specific email first. Or figure out why it put me into template editing based on the navigation flow.

Custom Unique Emails for Store Purchases. Example: We sell online courses (not through WA Store) and when the customer purchases the course they get an automatic email with the link to the specific online course they purchased. Sending a manual email after the purchase does not work for us or our customers. We would like to use the WA Store, but currently can not, due to this issue.

Multi locations for members
We need the ability to add multiple locations to a members. Some of our retail members have several locations. Because we have to use contacts for these (and to appear on our website correctly), we have no options for a separate billing email or and owner vs a manager.

I suggest marking this from within the program (list of participants), select e.g. the oral presentation, and send (just) them a targeted email (and vice versa for poster presenters). We currently have to use the export function and from there proceed manually.

create duplicate invoices
We quietly offer some of our members the ability to pay their annual fees in several periodic payments. After creating and saving the first such invoice, I want a "duplicate invoice" option, so that I can easily create identical copies of the invoice and simply change the invoice date.

css style in macros
It would be great to allow css to control the links that are held within macros.
I've done as much formatting as I can, but I can't change the link colours that are embedded in a macro (ie: registration details, that happen to ALSO have a link). It's easy to change if the macro is only a link, but if the macro is multiple fields, we get blue links.

Simplify Event Registration Cancelations
Please make canceling a registration by a member simpler. (This is particularly true when the event is an "advanced event.")
The way the process is set up now, our members find the system complex. Suggestion: When the member goes into his or her profile, have an option showing there—"Cancel one of my event registrations." Then have the member directed to a list of events for which the member is registered. Allow confirmation.12 votes -

The ability to create forms and to use them to upload images from our members. We use Google forms where we can - but for our members to upload files to us on Google forms, they must have an email account with our domain... An expensive proposition...

Member to Member Emails Not Private
I am just about to tell our members that they now have the ability to email each other through the Member Contact Form. We did a test and it went fine, but then I happened to be looking at the email log and lo and behold, as an administrator I can read ALL private messages between members sent this way. What the HECK?! I will not publicize use of this service and probably will turn it off for members unless you can make it private even from me. What is the point of me having access to the contents of emails that members think are private between them. Our members are physicians and should they happen to send information that turned out to be HIPAA protected, it would be permanently embedded in the email logs of my database, opening me up to potential fines.
If you need to log these emails, that's fine, just don't make a way for me to view the contents of the message.
Is there a way for me to customize the headers and footers on these emails?

Additional filters needed for Financial income reports
We need to be able to run the income report (to show all invoices issued in the period) and be able to filter by the payment tender to show the portion of an invoice paid by wild apricot payments, the portion paid with a credit on the account, or other tenders and the portion that remains unpaid at the end of any given period. Currently, the income export will show all invoices and the amount paid/unpaid but it doesn't break down the amount of each payment tender. We have a hard time posting our income data to quickbooks because our wild apricot deposits do not reflect all income earned and there is no report in wild apricot to indicate the total income broken down by payment tender used. We have a number of invoices that are paid partially with a credit balance on their account and then paid with an online payment once the credit has been taken. The existing report just indicates 'online, offline' in the payment type column but doesn't break this down to show the actual amounts of each.
If the export simply showed these as separate or provided the amounts for each type separately, I could use this report.

Customizable Reply to: field in membership emails.
Under member emails, why is the organization default the only email allowed in the reply to field? We have a membership person who should receive membership emails but there is no way of sending only membership emails to her, it goes organization email which means she would get all or nothing.
There should be no reason the reply to field cannot be customized per email template, not sure why you have set it as uncustomizable.16 votes
