Saved Searches for Event Registration Type
There is an inconsistency in the members who can be selected to receive emails for an event and those who can be selected for Event registration type. For emails you permit one to select a Saved search. That is not true for the Event registration type. Since it would seem likely that whoever is selected to receive emails for the event would very likely be those who could respond to the Event registration type, that one should be able to select a Saved search for identify the members who are to be able to use the Event registration type.

Meeting Canada Revenue Agency receipting requirements
Good morning, Wild Apricot staff.
I would like to request a feature that is needed to bring the receipt up to the requirements of the Canada Revenue Agency for charitable receipt content. (link below)
I have developed a receipt that meets the requirements but there is a "disconnect" between donations by people NOT in the contact list already and people who ARE in the contact list.
When a current contact (member or otherwise) clicks donate the form that opens DOES NOT contain all of the necessary questions. The receipt is therefore absent of essential information that has been left blank in the contact file. For instance if they have not completed the address field but have entered my minimum requirements of email address and name then the charitable donation receipt leaves information off. One of the requirements of CRA is also that the "Date Receipt Issued" is on the receipt. That can be different than the date of the donation.
Thanks.

country adjustment
We are a non-profit association and we would like to have a membership fee adjustment for our new members during registration who are having residence in a country depend on the annual gross national income. (Country A-B-C) and we would like to reduce the membership fee 25% for Country B, and 50% for Country C. Country A has no discount. how can we make it automatic? I saw that there is a multiplier, but there is no such an option to reduce the fee either using minus or divide function. Can someone know how can we handle this? Thank you.

Log poll participation on member records as well as in the poll itself
Currently there's no way of seeing in a member's record which polls they participated in - the only way to measure their engagement is to look through each poll in turn and see if a member's recorded as an individual response. It would seem a logical extension of the functionality of a member's record if poll participation appeared there, in those cases where individual responses are recorded.

Progress bar or potential change date for Wishlist items
A progress bar or timeline for Wishlist items. (Maybe once they hit 200, votes?)
Multiple of the Wishlist items our group needs have been on the first page of the Wishlist for a few years and though improvement might be happening behind the scenes, we can't see any potential changes yet. Having a progress bar or potential change date could help retain your customers as they won't think their needed changes are a lost cause.

Ability to limit the number of items a customer can order from the store
We frequently want to run special event sales where as many members as possible should get a chance to purchase a certain product in the store -
1) for this we would like to have a feature that e. g. limits purchase to one item per membership only.
2) for this we also set the non-member price arbitrarily high to discourage non-members to buy at all - would be great to habe member-only sales option
Right now the store does not allow such restrictions.6 votes -

Allow 'Apply for membership' button on event registration form to lead to custom link
Hello! It would be really helpful if we could edit the system generated 'Apply for membership' button that appears during event registration, when a user who isn't logged in is registering for an event that has member-only registration types. We were recently asked to edit one of these buttons, as they lead to the first PUBLIC page with a membership application gadget of the website and in this case that page was not the new member registration page that was being used by the organization, but a sponsorship application page. We couldn't make the change for them and had to just hide the 'Apply for membership' button.

Add external events link to the calendar
A feature to add items to the calendar that are not a club event. We are a car club that hold out own events, and that works great in Wild Apricot. I want to be able to add another local club's event, simply want to be able to list another club's event indicating the where and when, without creating an event on our side.

Event Registration automatically adds to contact list
Currently, when you have a non-member sign up for an event, they are automatically added to the contact list. If you have a large event that is not for members only, you very quickly exceed your account limit for contacts, which then prevents more people from registering until you manually archive the non-members. It would be great to have a check box on the event setup that says "Add registrant to contact list". Simple upgrade that would save a ton of time.

Ability to choose several fields with phone numbers to send text notifications
From Matt: Will it be possible include more than one "cell phone" field from each member to text?
We have members that have several cell phone or e-mail addresses that we'd love to be able to blast to. Would be an excellent option is we could map to more than one member field at a time for texting.0 votes -

More Flexible DKIM Support
Since WildApricot only supports sending mail from our domain, we also use a separate e-mail provider to allow both sending and receiving mail in our domain using standard mail applications and web clients. I expect that the situation is the same for most organizations using WildApricot.
In order to improve security, to hinder spamming and to prevent our domain mail from being blacklisted, we would like to add DKIM validation for that alternate. provider.
However, like WildApricot (and most mail providers) our mail service is hard-wired to use the DKIM selector "default". This is understandable, since they have no reason to assume that a large portion of their users would be using an additional mail service to send mail.
Unfortunately, Wild Apricot also insists on using the DKIM selector “default”, even though it is clear that most users will need an auxiliary mail service. Please either:
1. Change Wild Apricot's mail service to use a unique selector, e.g."wildapricot", instead of "default".
or
2. Allow the choice of a site-specific DKIM selector.Since WildApricot only supports sending mail from our domain, we also use a separate e-mail provider to allow both sending and receiving mail in our domain using standard mail applications and web clients. Prompt Admin When Invoice Already Exists and Membership Level Changes
We had a member with a membership level of Individual Membership who requested to change her membership level to Tiered Members for 3 Members. We changed her membership level. Then added the other two members to that bundle. When we did that, the big yellow pending renewal box with the invoice link disappeared from the the two members added to the bundle. Although the membership tab still showed open invoices for those two members, it wasn't nearly as obvious to the admin user. It would nice if the admin user was notified that "current invoice exists, do you want to void existing invoice". Without good internal notes, it would have been some time before we noticed these outstanding invoices.

Please UPDATE the EVENT Registration area of WA. It is very NON-user Friendly. See attached image of how a person has to scroll for miles to register.

Set default email subscription settings
When a new contact is added (even non-members), they are automatically subscribed to Event announcements and Email Blasts. There is no way to change this default. Currently, I have to go in and edit this for each contact. We should have the ability to change this default.

Add a field-level attribute that prevents duplicate field entry
Add a new attribute – something like “Enforce Uniqueness” – to the Common Fields setup window. It can be grouped under the Options heading just underneath the Required Field attribute. Users can tick mark the box or leave it unchecked. Then add some type of downstream verification check, ideally at the Dropdown List Level: When the user clicks into a field’s drop down list, check to see if Enforce Uniqueness is selected on that field. If Yes, compare the user’s selection from that list to the existing values for that field in the database. If there is a match (i.e., saving the selected value would result in a duplicate) then reject the entry and give the user a message like “The selected <name of field> already exists. Duplicates are not allowed.” Alternatively, it would be ok to check for duplicates when saving the contact data. WA is already doing field validation for Required Field during saving, so just extend that check for user fields deemed unique. It would be ideal to reject duplicates as early in the workflow as possible but checking during saving would also work.
ps. The creation of duplicate contacts is the biggest challenge we have with the system. We're a HOA, and since only the primary email is unique in WA, spouses and other family members are creating duplicate contacts with their own email addresses.Add a new attribute – something like “Enforce Uniqueness” – to the Common Fields setup window. Update Default WildApricot Avatar
If clients such as myself can't change or update the default avatar (silhouette that vaguely looks like a person), then WildApricot should update it on their end. The current generic avatar is low quality, ambiguous, and even creepy. Many of my members have not uploaded avatars, so it makes the site look unprofessional and uninviting. This would be a ridiculously easy change, but since WildApricot hasn't bothered to add a feature that would solve this that was suggested in 2015, I'm sure this request will go into limbo, too. Too bad, considering how much I'm paying per month.
