  1. Avoiding empty links to "View Details"

    Our public membership directory has a whole series of entries with worthless and empty "View Details" links. They result from members who indicate that they are willing to make their directory information "public" but then don't make their names or any other information actually viewable by "anyone." In other words, the contact indicates "yes" to the entry asking about inclusion in the Member Directory. The instructions are: "Choose "yes" to share your contact info in general; choose what data via the member profile." In each case the members have restricted all contact details to members only.   2. Button Change on Events Details Registration Types Page

    Please move the "Add type" button at the VERY BOTTOM of the Events Details, Registration Types Page to the top where it can be seen more easily without scrolling to the bottom of a long list of registration types.

    I believe this may be the only page I recall that has a button function like this at the very bottom of the page. If there are others, please move them up too. :)

  3. Autoincrement option on the numeric field (e.g. for bib numbers)

    Another vote for a numeric field option. I would really like to have an autoincrement option on the numeric field, with configurable start/seed value. It should be available as a contact or event field. A nice-to-have would be a range of excluded numbers.The field should be available for macro insertion in event emails.

    Our application for this would be to generate bib numbers. We have a few large events per year that would benefit greatly from such a feature.

  4. Include "no entry" participant detail on Registration Fields report

    Currently this report does not provide participant names for those without data entered in the field(s) requested when you generate the report.

    This would be helpful, since now the event manager has to go back to figure out which registrant is missing the data. We use this field frequently to ask for roommate preferences on trips --- often people don't have one at registration time, so it is left blank.

    I know we can force an entry by making the field mandatory to make them say something there, (or export to Excel) but it would be much simpler if the…

  5. Deleting event registraion types after copying an existing event

    When copying a previous event there is no way to quickly delete unwanted registration types that get carried in from the previous event. You can only disable individual reg. types which is tedious.

    It would be great if there could be a delete button beside each registration type within an event on the Event Registration Types page.

  6. Make all images in Member Directory same width and height.

    Hello, is there code that can resize all images in the Member Directory? My images all seem to be of different width and height. I would like to have them all the same size. It would look a lot cleaner. Thank you.

  8. Emailing From Profiles

    Can anyone advise me on the "message" links found in the member profiles?

    What I mean is, when a member contacts another member by clicking on the button at top of profile, is there a way to "hide" the senders email address, or keep email back and forth private?

  9. Export event registrations even when there are none - to see events without attendance

    The new Event Export Registrants function is great except it only reports on Events if there is at least one person who has registered. Please fix this as we would like to know what events had no participation as well as those who did have participation. The Event Export function is also really valuable to create a list of all upcoming and future events if we want to put out a flyer or print to a poster.

  11. Search function for the events tab when inserting a link

    When inserting a link and selecting the events tab, it would be nice to have a search box at the top where one could just start typing the name of the event, much like the main Event's page

  12. Tracking On for Manual E-mails

    Presently tracking is off by default for non system e-mails and can only be turned on in an e-mail by e-mail basis. Would much prefer the option to have tracking on always for non system emails

    Hi

    It would be useful to have the facility to have all e-mails created by non administrators (e.g. by event managers) to have to be moderated (i.e. approved) before sending by an administrator ?

  14. Improving manual event registration to avoid errors

    With the introduction of the the new screen for Administrators to add people to their events, many are adding existing members as new contacts. I have had four of five examples of this. The reason I believe is that they do not notice the 'Select existing contact' button and go straight to the blank attendee registration form. We hardly ever add new contacts, so the set up for us is wrong.

    My suggestion is that the screen be redesigned to make the Select existing contact more prominent. Ideally, in my opinion, there should be two buttons: the first, labelled Select…

    I am a member of two 2 different organizations that use wild apricot. The app only allows being logged in to one. I have to log out and back in every time, which is annoying. It would be great to use the app with several memberships

  16. Optimal Mobile App Enhancements

    I think the Members Mobile App would be optimal when the following enhancements are implemented.
    1. Add a Donations button
    2. Add the Online Store
    3. Give members the ability to see their payment and donation history
    4. Give members the ability to see their purchase history from the Online Store
    5 Give members the ability to print invoices, receipts
    6. Give members the ability to see emails sent to them as well as the ability to delete them
    7. Give Admin the ability to add specific page(s) from their website for viewing

  17. More clarity on switching payment systems

    We recently switched from PayPal to AffiniPay and were blindsided when all of our existing PayPal subscriptions were automatically cancelled. According to the Wild Apricot help documentation, "If you have recurring payments set up, you'll need to stop those payments through your existing payment processor".

    We expected that our members' PayPal subscriptions would continue and we would have to deal with them manually until they switched over. We were not equipped to handle a mass cancelation of subscriptions and now expect to lose members as a result.

    Our dragon boat club has members signing up for paddling sessions. The current process is cumbersome when trying to sign up for multiple sessions. Each session requires returning to the calendar and a new selection is then made. Being able to select multiple sessions at one time would be ideal.

  19. add contacts or lapsed members to a member directory

    I would like to make a directory of just our contacts. These are the vendors/sponsors that we would like our members to reach out to and invite to our events, hit up for money, etc. But right now we can only have a member directory of members.

    I would also like to be able to add lapsed members to the member directory. We have a regional and national network so not all the regional members pay the fee to be in the national network. However, I still want these lapsed members or contacts to show up in our regional member…

  20. Add checkbox as a custom field type

    End users are quite used to check boxes for yes and no options. In fact they are ubiquitous. The same goes for Boolean variables. There are everywhere in the IT development world except in Wild Apricot. It's an undeniable waste of time for every new developer to have to figure out why they aren't there and find a workaround, and at the least an eye roll from end users who have to react to the strangeness of having to process a radio button in place of a checkbox, not to mention the extra (wasted) space it takes to implement it.…
