Tags improvement
Event tags are too easily added by anyone setting up an event (BBQ, cookout, kitchen,etc) Having them pre-setup in preferences, so that event creators (select not add) from a system list would correct this. We currently have over 50 tags and cannot delete them without going back thru previous events and removing errant superfluous tags.

Event Guests - Split into Adult and Child where pricing can be different
Split Guest field into two... make it "Adult" Guests and "Child" guests where pricing can be different... Even Better, it would be great if you made these into organization defined fields to use where we have control. i.e Adult Guests:30$, Kids 5-12: 10$ and Babies 5 and under: Free... Most Organizations have to deal with families. :)

Custom fields expire independent of event registration expiration.
It is common when holding events to have the purchase or ordering of some aspects of an event to close before overall registration of the event. For example, we offer T-shirts to be ordered with each registration, but the T-shirt orders must be submitted to our vendor two weeks prior to the event. Another example are tickets for our banquet. It would be very helpful if we could set an expiration date for custom fields that is separate from the expiration of the overall registration. Thanks

Some fields should be viewable in Directory but NOT editable by Members
There are valid reasons why some field(s) might be required to be visible for each member (in Directory) but not allowing the Member to edit that field(s). One example are site locations (like we use) where the physical location cannot be changed ever but the owner might sell to a new owner. Owner still cannot change the site #.
Same for Stock shares that purchased when a home is sold. That specific share # never changes.
We do not have Membership #s like other orgs (ours are share/site#) but I would assume these like Employee badge #s would not be editable.
I wish admins could dictate which fields can be edited and also which ones can be viewed. There are fields that Members should not be able to edit but can be viewed.

Login Freedom
It would be great if we had the ability to change login credentials from email to something else. We have a long standing association that is moving from one platform to Wild Apricot and they have been using a particular number to login. Since this system does not have that ability it will cause great confusion for the membership.

preview image
Allow authors to select a preview image for a blog post, which displays next to the post title in the blog gadget and "recent entries" gadget. Similar to Wordpress functionality.

Add a like button on blog posts and allow sorting by the number of likes so that members can see rapidly see popular, or topical posts.

Daily membership
I'd like to see a daily membership option added. My application for the software is a little different than most but I do see a few similar requests and it doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to add that option. Thanks

renewal policy settings
I really need a setting for Renewal Policy of Membership Levels that allows me to say payment does not have to be received before Membership is approved. (as there is in the New Member Application)

Better reporting features
It would be fantastic if we could have a few more export features so that reports will be easier to manipulate and read. One example is the donors list should be able to be calculated by fields for the entire year. Another example, is the event list should be able to be printed out in an editable format so when we make a brochure the information is easier to transfer.

Store Invoices to be Accessible by Store Manager
The new Online Store Manager is a very useful feature. It would be even better if the online store manage were able to receipt invoices issued for store purchases. The only way around this is to make the Store Manager a Donations Manager also.

More Variants and Shipping Options
The Online Store need the more flexibility in variants and shipping options.
I need a variant for an up-charge for larger sizes (e.g.sizes larger than XL) along with the ability to have size and color as variants.

The event email menu should be available until event close - date and time, instead of having to postdate the event, sending the email, then correcting the event date.

Additional detail on "Order" page
We just started using the online store this year and think that on the "Order" page there should be a tab for the "Item purchased" We have a few different sponsorship opportunities going on and in order to see who purchased what we have to go into each order (which is tedious).

Make notations on transactions available
I want to use the mobile app to receive money for merchandise & donations, to renew memberships, to receive reimbursements, and then on occasion to receive payment/check people in at an event. I want to do these things at the same event, and some of them at the same time.
Here's what I need: an ability to make notes on the app so that I can tag what the transaction(s) is for. I would also like for the receipt, either texted or mailed, to have that note. It can be a drop down window that I created before the event, or an open window to type.
When this feature is available I'll buy the mobile app device and start using it!

Make forum accessible via email
We have been using the forum gadget for our discussion forum. We suggest 3 sueful additions for this gadget:
1. Receiving an email for each message that is posted, with the whole message contained in the email
2. Being able to reply to an existing message by replying via email
3. Being able to post a new message to the forum by sending it via emailIt would be great if this good be implemented at some stage. Thank you!

auto populate guest registration if existing members
When a person registers for a Trip it auto-populates their information, but when they go to try and add a “guest” it requires them to complete all the information even if they’re a current member or in our contact database. The way it’s set up now a member can register themselves and add a guest without the guest being a member, which we do not allow. It requires someone to go in and manually review the guest registration to make sure they’re a member.
My suggestion is this. When a member signs themselves up and then goes to add a “guest,” we would like it set up to where if they’re a current “Active” member all the original registrant would have to do is click on “select existing member” and it would auto-populate with the same information as the original registrant. Their next step would be to complete the balance of the information. This would provide an additional protection to prevent members from signing up non-members as their “guest.”
