Discount or Coupon Codes for Store Purchases
We would like the ability to give a discount or coupon code to new members to be applied to store purchases. This would be an incentive for new members to purchase merchandise with our logo. Currently, you only offer discount or coupon codes to be applied to events and memberships. Specifically, I would like to give a $5 or $10 coupon code which members can apply during check out.

Yeah, we really need this to happen. For organizations using Wild Apricot and running conferences, we often have to splice our audience in multiple ways for scholarships, discounts, and other things. Making a bunch of ticket types permits anyone out there to pick whatever they want, especially if you can only limit the gatekeeping to member vs non member. I wish they would fix this.

This would be very helpful for spurring store sales.

I consult for our neighborhood association and had the same issue. I figured out a workaround that isn't perfect but allows us to create the mechanics to support discount coupons - here are the steps:
1) add products to your store with the discounted rate. you will be duplicating the ones your currently have but just load the one discounted price (no others)
- for each of these products add a unique tag such as "coupon-123"
2) create a new store page on your web site
- make it public, but keep it off the menu
- note the url - it will be something like .../page-######
- we just duplicated our store page and changed the attributes
- if you make a new page make sure to add the store widget
3) in the new store page, modify the store widget to filter only the products with the coupon tag you added to them above
4) create a QR code that embeds the url of the "secret" store page: www.yourorg.org/page-#### (whatever the url is in the properties of the page)when users scan that code they will be presented with a shopping page with just those discounted products.
if you want different discounted rates for the same product you'll need a different store page for each with each product (at its discounted rate) tagged by a unique tag. each store page then becomes the page of discounts. e.g.
url/secret_store_discount 10%
> widget with filter for items at 10%
url/secret_store_discount 20%
> widget with filter for items at 20%Don't put these pages on your site but use the QR code link to get your customers there - you would hand someone the 10% QR coupon code to get to the 10% store and the 20% QR code to get to the 20% store...
it's not pretty or perfect but it will work in some cases.

Wow.. this was suggested back in 2019 and still not implemented?! Crazy. The ability to offer a discount code for a product is vital to many businesses.

We should be able to generate a Discount Coupon Code that people can use to purchase on the Online Store. For example, Summer Sale Promo! Use promo code XXXXXX and get 20% discount on your next product purchase! Admin can set the X amount of times the same user can use.

Our organization would really like to offer people who attend an event an exclusive "discount code" for SWAG in our store. Or, be able to do "flash sales" with a discount code in the store.
I love that there is a membership discount code option, but I think it would be useful to put that in the store as well.

We would like to be able to have a coupon code for our store for ANY member. Right now it is only available for 1-new members when they apply for membership, 2- renewing members and 3- members changing levels. I would like to have it for any member at any time.

I would also like to be able to provide a discount code to non-members.

We need to be able to provide a discount code to some customers (members and nonmembers) on items we sell in the store.

We need a way to indicate which membership levels get the member-only price or the ability to offer different discounts to different membership levels in the Online Store (similar to what is available for events registrations)?
