We’re looking into this request in much broader context – we want to simplify overall management of contacts, lists, saved searches. Saved search should be perceived as smart lists and provide quick access to various contact and member groups.
An error occurred while saving the comment Yes--should be able to edit a saved search. Not save a new one and delete the old.
The way it works now is confusing--and can lead to a lot of saved searches with the same name but different arguments. Rather surprised this idea is 11 years old with no action.
Love Wild Apricot (implementing my third organization right now) but fixing a basic thing like this would make it easier to manage. -

An error occurred while saving the comment After I click the ADD TO CART button there is no easy way to return to shopping. I have to hit the STORE button again or the back button on the browser.

You can tag “HOT” items with some tag and then put several catalog gadgets on the same page.
In the top catalog gadget, you can show only items tagged with you specific tag, and in another gadget show all the rest.
Does this solve a problem? -

An error occurred while saving the comment The current predefined states list is the whole state name--but for mailing we need the two letter state abbreviation. Plus the two state abbreviation for overseas mailing for military addresses (AE, etc.)
This would be more useful than the full state name.
I had to create my own. But predefined would be better. -

An error occurred while saving the comment We have nearly 200 newsletters in PDF format that we'd like available for members and the public. They should be able to view the documents in thumbnail or list view and search the text. This would also be helpful for organizations that want to share meeting minutes or other documents.
We can do this through DropBox or other file sharing systems BUT they either require the user to sign into another system or the search function isn't available. The PDFs are already searchable.
I FULLY agree with this. You penalize members for renewing early. They're not changing their membership, they are changing a membership level.
I like a lot of things about Wild Apricot. But the logic of this escapes me from both an administrator and user viewpoint.
